"I'm right here. You can explain while we walk. We have to get to the command center. Has anyone seen Thisahon? I see his Triton."

"Asaki, I forgive your mistake... provided that you have learned something from it. However, this base and these men are under Clutchfiend's jurisdiction..."

Soul Reaver looks up at Clutchfiend, who is still looking straight ahead. Soul Reaver looks back at his student.

However, know this, Asaki... the powers of Chaos are corrupting and dangerous. While it is possible to bend Chaos to one's will, the risks are great. Most are consumed by these energies and lose their souls to the Chaos Gods. Beware that the same does not happen to you."

He looks over to Clutchfiend again.

"I cannot help but wonder why the Chaos troops would be after us... unless it was connected with the Antedeluvian. I suspect it would not appreciate our treatment of its brothers at our hands..."

Uncle talked about them sometimes. He said that they could tear through a normal person without thinking. I wonder if I would even stand a chance against them...

NO! Don't think like that! Kelvack's voice rings in Halcons ears. Never doubt yourself. I have trained you well. You probably have even surpassed me in power. Just belive and you shall overcome... As quickly as it came, Kelvack's voice leaves just as fast.

"How long till we get to this command center?"

"I'm right here Clutch. I may have a problem that I need to adress. You may not remember when I told you about the time the Bed family came to earth for the first time. But anyway... A group of soldiers and I managed to fight them off. I thought I killed the one they called Gisias. He is Thisiases brother. His ultimate goal is to destroy all life and absorb his brothers power. Somehow he survived... And now I fear he has Joined the Chaos lords. He may have given them Triton Technology. From what I saw earlyer they are very powerfull models. They are model 16's Mine is a model 18. The 16s have a much more adavanced defence system the relys on energy sheilds. They are also a bit faster in normal mode. I was trying to scan for The chaos drives but the smoke screen came up too quickly and interupted my sensors. I highly beleive they may have that technology... This is bad guys real bad... All of you could beat one Triton easily together... But an entire army it is gonna be tough. Thank god I have got my Triton here."

*Thisahon looks back at the Triton and to Ella still sitting inside.*

The group reaches the edge of the landing zone and pass through a huge gate, entering the city. There are buildings all around them. Some are damaged, while others are still in good shape. There is a lot of activity around them. Armored Space Marines run past them in all directions. Apothecaries (medics) camn be seen transporting wounded soldiers and civilians. The noise of the battle is immense, and the ground is constantly rumbling because of the tank and artillery fire. Every now and then, fighters or the occasional Thunderhawk scream overhead. There are buildings filled with civillians, most of whom are quite scared. A little girl waves at cLuTcHFieND, and he smiles and waves a gauntleted hand back.

"We aren't that far off now. It's up ahead farther. If I see an empty Rihno, we'll stop and get it."

"I have no idea why the Chaos Marines would be after me and you specifically, Soul. All I know is that these civillians are being wiped out, and it's my responsibility to protect them. The Antedeluvian and the Chaos Lords must be stopped."

cLuTcHFieND turns and regards Asaki.

"Don't worry about anything, Asaki. You can't get in trouble for what you did. I'm the Force Commander, and I was the one who gave the order for you to stay put. I was only doing it to keep you safe till we could get down here."

cLuTcHFieND goes back to studying the surroundings.

cLuTcHFieND: The everliving flame.

"Damn, I knew I took a wrong turn. Where the hell am I, this doesn't look like Mandria."

He looks around and studies the natives. A group of people stand out from the rest. Deciding he has nothing to lose he walks over the people.

"Hi. What planet is this?"

Halcon looks around and sees all of the space marines. They pay no attention to him, even though he seems to be shaking after taking each step.

Better stay back Jobaber, don't wanna mess up any of the buildings structures. Stay on the outskirts.

Jobaber obeys and travels underground to the outskirts of the base. The soldiers over it's path figure its an earth-quake and pay no heed.

"Nice place you got here..." Halcon begins to ramble on about things, just to break the tension.

cLuTcHFieND turns to face the new arrival.

"We're at war, and me and my friends are getting ready to go battle a group of Chaos Lords. You may join us if you wish."

Pulls out large leather map. He starts to scan the map feircly.

"Aldrean, Aldrean.... OH MY GOD!!! I am way,way,way of course. How in the hell could I have picked the wrong portal. Huh...you fighting a war. I don't like wars, but I like stopping them. So, its cool if I join you. So, who are these "Chaos Lords"? And I'm starving."

The mysterious person places the map back in his trench coat.

"Oh sorry my name is Dom. I am a wandering woriorr looking for my home."

"Wow, that sucks. Well if they have killed millions, count me in. I hate people who kill carelessly. So, what is the plan?"
