My second real battle, I hope I can hold my own. Heck I already almost got myself killed. If it wasn't for Kelvack I would be dead by now. Well, this looks like a test... time to surprise myself...

Halcon raises his spiked fist and throws it down on the head of a triton. The spikes pierce into it and as he pulls his fist away the head comes off with it. The triton then falls to the ground with a small fire burning through it that started at the head. The leader warms up his cannon for another shot as this happens.

Crap, gotta get this done quickly.

The stone giant of Halcon gets into a 3-point football stance. The enemy tritons wonder what the heck he is doing and they approach carefully. Like an explosion, Halcon is charging towards the group of tritons with his spiked shoulders pointing right for them. He meets the first couple of them and the sound of rock hitting metal clashes from the impact. The two tritons are pushed back into the ones behind it and soon a nice domino effect is happenning. As each one falls Halcon slams a spiked fist into it, disabling it. Halcon reaches the last artillery triton, leaving a trail of busted up scrap metal behind him. Pieces of triton armor is stuck into Halcon's spikes and he shakes it off. The triton unlatches it's cannon and swings it around like a bat. After a short trot Halcon jumps into the air. He shoots the spikes off of one of his fists at the triton. It swings at them and bats them away. But as it rears up to swing again Halcon lands on top of it. One spiked fist and one normal one pummel it to pieces.

The leader has charged up his cannon by now and is taking aim for Halcon's back. Sensing the emminent danger, Halcon tunnels into the ground, leaving the leader triton wondering. With a large crash the ground falls out from under it. The triton falls into Halcon's large rock hands. With a flex of his rock muscles Halcon bends the triton in half. The charged up cannon crashes to the bottom of the hole, along with its former wielder. Halcon picks up the cannon and props it upon his shoulder. He tunnels out of the hole and looks around. Enemy tritons are everywhere. They are bent and broken and in much worse condition than Halcon. He only has a large scratch on his chest from one of them with a crude sword it got from the spine part of another triton. He also has a large chunk out of his knee. That happenned by a couple lucky hits the enemy tritons had.

Halcon trods over to the base and leans against its wall with the cannon resting beside him.

Not bad, but that still hurt... a lot...

Halcon winces as another wound, this one not visible, pains him. A large crack has formed on the inside of his rock chest. He will have to change back to his normal form soon or he may crumble to pieces. It looks like Jobaber will not get his body back after all...

"Dangit, I need to change, but I don't have enough energy. I need to... res.."

As Halcon talks to himself, he passes out. One of his massive hands crash down on the ground, knocking the cannon on top of him. He still lays unconcious though, sleeping like a babe, a giant rock babe...

"HQ, initiate Operation Libirate. I want this city Chaos free ASAP!"

cLuTcHFieND continues fighting. Within a few minutes, a squadron of Thunderhawk gunships flies over the city and dropps four squads of Terminators. The huge marines are armed with gattling guns and powerfists. They begin tearing apart the chaos troops whithin the city perimeter. 10 minutes after their landing, the Terminators report to cLuTcHFieND that aside from the Marines fighting Tammrissa, Jharm, and Fei, the city is clear of enemy presense. cLuTcHFieND breathes a sigh of relief. He then goes and finds Soul Reaver, who has just jumped down from a destroyed triton.

"Hey Soul. The city is secure, so it would probably be a good idea if we headed for the temple before they send reinforcements."

I'm hit! Ella is tossed back in her chair as the triton is hit, her hands flying off the controls for a few seconds.

When she finally regains control, she groans at the sight of the damage report.

My left arm is disabled...the shield is basically useless...and Zuberi's sensors are going crazy, she mumbles a small curse and slames her palm down on the sensor display screen. Ha! Sensors are back online.

She looks up at her screens and gets the triton moving again, the gattling gun firing at the Chaos Marines below and the sword parrying blows from other tritons. A bolt shoots through the cockpit, buzzing past her a few inches from her head.

That was close...any other defenses I should know about, Master Jihon? I could really use another shield or something, she glances over her shoulder to see a blackened spot smoking at the back of the cockpit.

When she looks back at the screens, most of the tritons are destroyed and the Chaos Marines are eliminated.

What's up now? she flips a switch and triton lowers its sword.

*Jharm turns a corner to begin fighting the tritons when a blast hits the building right in front of him. Jharm looks down to see that there are really 12 tritons not 10 and that 6 of them are armed with heavy artillery guns. Jharm charges the artillery tritons first taking 3 of them out easily but in the process receives a hit from one of the other artillery guns.*

"Grunt...man those guns are nasty...i have got to get rid of them before they do anym roe damage to me or to the city."

*Jharm smashes his foot down on the ground causing 2 of the 3 remaining heavy tritons to misfire and hit each other and destroying each other also. The ripple did not howver keep the last heavy triton from landing a shot on the inside of Jharms right knee. The hit to his knee causes Jharm to fall backwards and crush the heavy triton and 2 of the light tritons but also causing him to crush the building he was in front of and killing all the people who were inside it. When Jharm gets back up and realizes what has happened he lets loose a mighty roar.*

"NOW LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!!"

*In his anger Jharm punches downwards sending the 2 remaining tritons down into the ground and leaving a crater the size of his fist.*

"There they have been dealt with. How are you two doing?"

*Jharm turns around to see if Tam and Fei have finished with the marines so they can head over to the base.*

(I can't stop. I need you Sandra. I need your strength. I need your love.)

You can do it. You are strong enough. I will always love you.

Dom stops. The marines take this moment to sorround Dom. They start to move in when Dom starts to glow white. He continus to glow white until, he erupts with energy. The sudden eruption of energy causes all the marines around him to disintegrate. As the light fades only Dom is there. He has reverted back to his human shape. He looks around at all of the decapitatd Chaos Marine bodies, he looks and the ruined Tritons and then looks at the city. A single tear runs down his left eye.

(I'm sorry you had to get involved. I will avenge you.)

Dom looks over at Clutch and Soul. Clutch suggest that they should attack the temple now. Dom looks at both of then and then responds.

"Lets kill all of those bastards, every last one. I will avenge the people."

"I fight for the love of the people and the peace of the world."

|With chaos as my guide, I walk the plains in search of a worthy battle...|

It's like they don't even know im here, its that good or bad.

Kawanua holds his weapon ready for anything to jump out and attack. Kawanua Follows Soul, clutch and Dom where ever there going in silence, he says nothing.

Soul Reaver hears Tamrissa's message, but can only make a quick reply.

We're outnumbered, and the Chaos Troops keep coming. However, so far they have not got the better of us. We'll try to help you out if we have a chance...

Soul Reaver continues his attacks against the Tritons, with Kawanua watching his back. Eventually, the last triton crashes to the ground as a burning wreck. Soul Reaver leaps off it's shoulder. He wipes some blood from his eyes which has flowed from a shallow cut in his forhead. Though he sports numerous cuts and bruises, he is not badly hurt. The wounds soon begin to close.

"Let us rejoin Tamrissa and Sabre... they are near the outskirts of the base, and were fighting marines when I last heard from her. Then we strike at the temple."

Soul Reaver breaks into a run, the other companions following shortly behind him. The sounds of gunfire and crackling sorcery can be heard in the distance... and an unnatural roar fills the air.

The companions arrive in time to see a massive stone being pummeling a triton into the ground.

"That isn't Jobaber... so who is it? Well, there will be time for introductions later..."

Soul Reaver and his companions rush into the fray, carving the unsuspecting troops into ribbons. As they go about their work, Soul Reaver shouts over to Clutchfiend.

"Clutchfiend! Is the Chaos Temple open now?! If not, we will still need Ella and Jobaber to deactivate the shielding!"

Maybe now...

A faint blue arua flares up around Halcon as he begins to chant a prayer. Slowly he shrinks back down into his normal size. The arua flares up more intensly and the rock cracks around him and falls to the ground. Halcon collapses against the wall again and lets out a sigh of relief.

Thats better... But I wish Jobaber wouldn't have been destroyed because of me. I'll have to repay him sometime.

One of the larger chunks of rock that Halcon shed off starts to move. Two arms and legs fold out of it and the tiny creature stands up. It trods over to Halcon and jumps on his chest.

"Jobaber! You survived! I didn't think that I had enough power left to execute that part of the prayer, but it guess it worked. Good to see you again good buddy."

Halcon picks up the now tiny Jobaber and places him on his shoulder. The little rock creature gives out a little grunt as it settles itself. Halcon chuckles to himself as he sends a message to Soul Reaver.

I don't think that the plan with Jobaber will work. We seem to have a size problem. After it and I merged I sustained a wound that was near fatal. I had to revert directly to my normal form. I thought that Jobaber would have been destroyed but it has not. It is just real tiny now. About the size of a cat. I'll catch up to you guys after I rest a bit. Don't have too much fun without me!

Halcon lets out another sigh and he slumps down lower and nods off to sleep. His aura glows around him and Jobaber as protection and Jobaber rests also.

"CLASS 19!!! What the hell are they thinking! I worked on clss 19 and even I am afraid to pilot one! Jesus what are they planning to do take over the universe!?"

*Jihon frowns and a dead and frightening silence fills his cockpit. He looks at the rose giving off a golden glow....*

"You will die Gisias... You can count on that...."

*He places his hand on a switch directly next to the rose... The switch activates the Chaos Drive.... The Tritopn kneels and Jihon and stryder both leap out of their Tritons. They hit the ground landing feet first.*

Stryder: That was soo easy!

Jihon: I feel no remorse how about you?

Stryder: Nope...

Jihon: I need some sleep....

Stryder: Oh I thought The Warrior Called "Shame" didnt need any sleep.

Jihon: Normally no... But today I saw my love killed, I was in a battle, I havent had any coffe yet, that gin last night gave me a hangover, I was forced to kill my son, you showed up, and IVE GOTA HEADACHE!!!

Stryder: Yeah I guess your right. *Clamps his fist tightly.* I want to kill the mother ****er who did this!

Jihon: We will buddy we will....

*They make their way twords the ravaged building not stopping for anything. Jihon walks onto the carpet inside and falls down on it and is instantly in a deep sleep.*

Stryder: Hahahaha! Oh wait... I'm gonna go find a...Yawn....bed!

*Styder also falls on the ground. His mask hits the carpet and makes a loud thud as he falls.*

"That's Jharm," she points to the stone being. "He is an enemy of the Chaos Lords, a powerful warrior and an ally...perhaps friend...to us."

She sheathes her sword and smiles slightly at Jharm, then gestures to the nearby building that they had been in earlier.

"Fei and I found two witnesses...well, one is a witness...the other is a damn spy for the Chaos Lords that I think we should kill in a painful and slow manner," she watches the building, eyes narrowing as she speaks. "If you need information, he'd be the one to demand it of...and I mean demand...do not ask, he's a tad on the brave side."

Her eyebrows raised, she pushes away from the wall and puts her hands on her hips.

"But if you don't need him, I'm going to hand him over to the first group of rowdy citizens we see," she smiles darkly and waits.

If they don't look, they'll never know and they'll at least have to work to steal this baby, she nods to herself and climbs down from the triton.

Checking to make sure she has all of her weapons on her, she turns and sprints after the rest. She spins around and jogs backwards a few steps as Stryder and Jihon run into a building. Furrowing her brow, she shrugs and turns back around, just missing a nice fall over one of the slain Chaos Marines. When they get to where Tamrissa and Sabre Soldier are, she stays back a bit and pulls her own bolt gun from her shoulder holster, firing at one of the armored soldiers every once in awhile.

Fei: Well, my friend, it looks like it's time to have some more fun.

Dragon: Damn straight. Why don't you let me in control for a while? I'll take real good care of you.*Dragon snickers*

Fei: No I will not. The only thing you will do is destroy this planet. I know you better than that.*Mindspeaks to the group*

Well, it looks like they have a second wave from a large drop ship 3 kilometers outside the city. They look pretty determined to kill us. You guys head to the temple and get rid of those bastards. You won't be able to get to these guys in time, they're too far away. I'll hold these guys off before they can cause any real destruction to the city. Besides, 1000 to 1 are just the odds I like. I need to try out these new powers somehow... So... See you guys later..I guess. Tamrissa, please take care of our guests.

*Sabre Soldier nods the others on the ground, and vanishes. He reappears 1 kilometer outside the city, in between the second wave, and the city. He begins to glow a pale blue again, and the black lighting channels through his body. This time he looks very serious, and won't hesitate to destroy them.*

Fei: Well my friend, it's time to cooperate on this one. I'll share this body with you as long as you don't get carried away with yourself.

Dragon: Well.....I guess. Some is better than none I always say. Now it's game time.

*Sabre Soldier waits patiently for the enemy to approach. The dragon tatoo begins to glow a black light, and expands across his chest. Sabre Soldier begins to change. His fingertips become razorsharp claws each about 8" long, with silver tips. His eyes begin to glow a bright white, and his hair breezes around his body. He becomes hunched over slightly and rage fills his body, as the dragon within leads him. While the others stand around, they soon hear gunfire from a distance, followed by several loud explosions. Sabre Soldier still stands his ground, dodging the incoming fire from the tritons. His speed makes him invincible to their firepower. With a mighty swing, 4 tritons explode when not even within 10' of him from the force of his attacks. He quickly darts from one to another in an explosion of metal, each attack lasting in semi-instants. The remaining tritons slowly approach. About 12 left. Sabre Soldier spots them quickly, and turns to them, dodging the ground fire from the large tanks, and chaos troops. He holds out his hands to his sides, making claw like patterns on his hands. He then brings his hands together, and the 12 tritons follow the same pattern, smashing together into one large ball, falling to the ground ontop of one of the tanks, causing it to explode. Seeing the ground units firing at him still, Sabre Soldier begins to channel his black lightning into his hands. The lightning forms within white balls of energy, which soon grow into one massive ball of white energy surrounded in black lighting.*

Fei: What are you doing???
Dragon: Getting rid of the vermin the way it should be done.
Fei: I cannot allow this, stop now!
Dragon: Too late Serumen, these chaos pests are going to die my way!!!

*The dragon rolls around onto Sabre Soldier, laughing hysterically. The energy ball crackles with the lighting as it is released onto the chaos. The 45' ball of pure negative energy strikes dropship decimating it. The energy expands, whiping out the troops, and the tanks, and slowly works its way towards the city, creating a very large crater along it's path of destruction. The other warriors are breezed over with a white sun-like light that passes by, from the shockwave. The city begins to rumble with a fanatical earthquake as the energy comes closer. Just as the energy gets within moments of touching the city, it explodes, creating a fantastic explosion, rocking the city, causing some of the much older buildings to fall. When the smoke clears, a crater 3 1/2 kilometers wide, and 2 kilometer deep is left next to the city, which remains standing for the most part. Dirt from the blast rain down on the city in chunks. Several small towns under chaos's control were annihilated by the vampiric blast. Sabre Soldier looks down, no expression on his face by the wreckage that he has caused.*

Dragon: You actually thought that I was going to try and destroy the planet didn't you??? Ha, I was just getting you worked up. I'm not that heartless slave. Unlike you. I just wanted to make a landmark in this filthy planet. I wasn't even trying to destroy the city. I could if you wanted me to. But that was just too much fun.

Fei: Damn you, I'm never going to share my power with you again. You attempt to take advantage of it. Anyways, we must take Safe Haven, for the sun is beginning to rise.

*Sabre Soldier flys back down onto the ground outside the city, next to the crater. He looks across the canyon that he had just made, thinking about what would have happened, if he had let the dragon take control. He shakes his head, and then slowly sinks into the ground with earthmeld, until he's 30' under, and sleeps until night again.*
