You know it's a trap, don't you? They want Clutchfiend... Kalana is bait to lure him.

I know, Blooddrinker... but I'm sure he does too. Even so, he has to go. He cannot abandon her, trap or no.

Hah! How your race has withstood the incursions of Inferno is beyond my understanding to this very day...

A Khorne Berserker appears in front of Soul Reaver, a massive chain-axe in each of his hands. In a mad fury, he spins around with weapons outstretched, expecting to slice his foe to ribbons. Unexpectedly, his opponent leaps into the air above his head, sending his blows wide.

As the Berserker looks up, he sees the crimson edge of Soul Reaver's sword descending... and then his helmet's faceplate smashes, a razor-like blade slicing cleanly through his head, his body, and not stopping until it has buried itself in the earth. The Berserker topples over in two seperate directions, his organs spilling from the two cleanly-cut halves of his body.

Soul Reaver then turns on some of the tanks whose guns are lowering to aim at Jharm. He chants and extends his hands. A sizzling sound can be heard as arcs of black lightning crawl up his arms and jerk around between his extended, clawed fingers. Then, with a final word, he releases the Shadow Lightning spell.

The bolt streaks through the air at incredible speed, leaving a glittering trail of pure blackness. It strikes the first tank, wreathing it with dark electricity. The shell in the firing chamber explodes, blasting the turret to pieces... even as the lighting leaps away from the tank and dives onto the next, guided by Soul Reaver's mind. Those tanks that fail to explode stay still and scorched... massive steel coffins to the crew trapped inside.

Soul Reaver avoids a spray of chaingun fire from a Chaos Triton, and proceeds to hack its legs off below the knee, sending the massive thing crashing to the ground, crippled.

All the while, Soul Reaver is making sure he is not kept from advancing towards the temple... he has not lost sight of his ultimate goal.

*Sabre Soldier looks at clutchfiend.*

You better hold on. You’re going to find this trip very awkward.

*Within an Instant, clutchfiend can feel himself being pulled through the sound barrier, and everything goes silent for the 1 second the trip lasts. His armor is scorching hot from the speed. The next thing cLuTcHfieND see’s is the Temple 10’ infront of him. A green barrier around the sealed door. Sabre Soldier extends his hand, as black lightning wraps around it. Sabre Soldier then points his hand at the door, and the lighting, with several instantaneous fast blasts, destroys the barrier and door, leaving a gaping hole in the side of the temple. Right inside the temple, several Juggernauts can be seen, and they begin to approach.*

As he turns three Khorne Berserker are charging him. They all jump in the air expecting their victim to stay still. Dom smirks. He teleports the second before they reach him and teleport behind them. He swings his sword, cutting them from the hip down. He lands on the ground and puts his sword away.

He retrieves both his guns from their holsters and starts unloading on the marines. He aims for their heads and hearts.

"This time I don't hold back. This is the vengence of the people."

Dom keeps on firing when he finds himself being fired upon by a Triton. Dom lowers his guns and a yellow aurua flars around him. He riases his right hand over his head. A ball of yellow energy is created over his hand. Dom looks at them and throws the ball of energy.

The ball hits their target and creates a huge dome like explosion, engulfing his target and any other poor souls trapped in the blast. He starts firing his guns into the chaos marines once more.

Fei: Hey, do you want me to take on these guys while you head in and look for Kalana. I’ll be right behind you…If so, you might want to hurry up. I don’t think that they expected just the two of us. They prepared for the group of us. We can take this to our advantage. And if the Antediluvian is here… then I have some plans for him.

*The swarm of Juggernauts open fire with their heavy chainguns, many of them with dual barrels. Sabre Soldier’s aura swirls a deeper blue which vanishes. Sabre Soldier then walks towards the Juggernauts, the shells exploding off of him, leaving a blue ripple of his aura that doesn’t even phase him, or harm him. The juggernauts hold their ground, unaffected of the fact that he has used fortitude. Sabre Soldier holds his hand out to the one juggernaut and squeezes it. The juggernaut works it’s way into a solid metal ball, and slams into 2 others, clearing a path into the temple. Sabre Soldier then jumps into the air, forming a large ball of crackling white energy surrounded by the negative black lightning that seems to feed the ball.*

Fei: Hurry now, I’m right behind you!!!

*Sabre Soldier makes a steady elbow strike on the orb, launching it down in a spiraling pattern at group of juggernauts. The juggernauts open fire on the energy, but their shells melt as they touch it. Then Sabre Soldier turns around looking up, and launches 30+ small lighting fast balls of energy into the air, using them as a barrage technique against the others that are fighting the party several miles away. Turning around again, he harnesses the orb directly over the juggernauts.*

"We have no time to waste! Finish them, then head to the temple!"

Soul Reaver begins to support his companions from the rear of the enemy position, hurling shards of ice that burn with a blue fire into the ranks of the chaos troops. Those poor souls struck by the spell burst into flames, their flesh blackening and collapsing into piles of ash in moments.

The number of Chaos troops begins to dwindle rapidly...

Ambush eh? They had to ambush us! They'll see who gets the best surprise...

"Jobaber! Don't just stand there! Attack!"

Jobaber heeds his masters commands and charges towards a troop of marines. With it's whip it slashes into their armor and trips them up. With the flail it crashes through their armor and crushes their skulls. The marines fire at Jobaber but the triton armor deflects each shot like a raindrop.

Halcon on the other hand advances on a few beserkers. With his sheild and sword in place he meets the first one. His aura flares up and fuels the shield. The red spikes open and shoot red beams at the beserkers. They dodge most of them but a few connect and burn through their armor and come out the other side. The burns travel through the inside of their armor and singes them to ash. The surviving beserkers charge at Halcon. He chucks his shield at one. The spikes dig into it and burn through it's armor. The others circle him and prepare to strike.

Crap, not good. This might hurt a bit...

Halcon sheathes his sword, crosses his arms, and closes his eyes. The beserkers see this as a chance to strike and leap at him. They land blow after blow on the young warrior and he sways after each hit. They are obviously dealing a lot of damage to him. Even though his body is getting beaten, his face still shows concentration. His eyes open, glowing red. He uncrosses his arms and they too glow red. The beserkes back up into their circle again and defend themselves.

Goodbye...

Halcon's aura flares up, but this time it is red. The red aura circles around him and grows. The beserkers back up more then turn and run, but they are too slow. Halcon's aura catches up to them and consumes each one of them. Their bodies are burnt to a crisp as the molten hot aura passes over it.

The aura poofs out and Halcon is left lying on the ground. Numerous dents and scratches are scattered on his gauntlets, back plate, and leg aromr. His skin not covered by armor is bruised. His eyes are still glowing red as he rests on his sword, which is sticking into the ground.

Jobaber, guard me. I need to regain my energy.

Jobaber bashes in the skull of one last chaos marine as it hears Halcons command. It whips at one that it missed, tripping him up. The flail comes down on his head, ending his life.

Damnit Jobaber, guard me!

Jobaber stops pummelling the chaos marine and trots over to Halcon, guarding him with it's life.

(This would go faster with help.)

Tell me about it.

(Shut up.)

Dom finish the squad. He holsters his guns and pulls out his sword. He places it in front of him and starts to chant. Then he stabs the sword into the ground.

"Veraxmus, come to your masters aid."

A giant roar can be heard from below Dom's feet. The ground starts to shake and a head emerges below the warriors feet. A brown dragon rips out of the ground. He flies into the air and lands in front of Dom.

"Good. Now go kill the ones that oppose me and you, Veraxmus. Slay the wretched, your god commands you."

The dragon rears its head back to bellow a bone chilling roar. He then turns toward the Chaos Marines. The dragon charges them ripping the soldiers limb from limb. A group of Tritons start to fire at the dragon. It turns, looks at the Tritons and slams its tail into the ground. The shockwave brings up large boulders under the Tritons feet. The boulders shred through the armor of the large machines, causing them to explode. The dragon then continues to rip apart marines and anything else its master beckons it to.

*Sabre Soldier drops the ball of energy on the remaining juggernauts. The force of energy, disintegrates the juggernauts, and sends everyone to their ass's in an earthquake. cLuTcHfIeND manages to dive into the temple to escape the blast radius. This explosion isn't nearly as large as the last, but can still be felt from within the city. Sabre Soldier follows clutchfiend into the temple, where he takes a right. After taking a semi-long trip inwards, they find Kalana on the ground. Sabre Soldier advances ahead into the pitch darkness, being a being of the night. Senshi see's him, as he fakes his blindness, and pounces at him from the darkness. As soon as she is within inches of him, a long arm extends, and jerks around her neck, holding her in place. Senshi kicks and screams at him but to no prevail. She attacks him with the strings of light, but no energy can be found from within his body to take.*

Fei: So this is the one that drained Kalana?
Dragon: Fei, wanna let me have this one. I'm hungry.

*Senshi feels her neck being grasped on tighter, almost to a cracking point. In the pitch blackness of the corrodor, she can see Sabre Soldier's glowing white eyes right infront of her. Crisp black semitransparent lightning can be seen flickering in them.*

Fei: Never take a knife to a gun fight. And never take a vampire into the darkness. You'll end up becoming the prey.

*In an instant, Senshi is sent through the right wall, landing outside in an explosion of metal and rock, Landing Several meters away from the Temple. Senshi looks up to see nothing but an inky blackness coming from within the temple, outward, slowly covering the ground.*

Fei: cLuTcHfIeND, I found the one that did this to Kalana. I'll let you take care of her.
Dragon: Dammit Serumen!!! She would have been fun to devour.
Fei: No, we have more important matters to attend to.
Dragon: Ohhhh....Yes...Our antediluvian friend...right.

*Sabre Soldier rematerializes from the black inky substance, and walks back into the temple darkness, leaving clutchfiend over Kalana. He then turns into the shadows, and makes his way into the temple unseen by everyone.*

Gisias: Heh... To think that will be the last thing you do on your own! Isnt this what you wanted? Death? Heh... Denying you that was the best thing that ever happened to you! You will se once you are bonded with me! We will keep your body for the sake of espionage...

*Jihon wrinkles his face with anger as he looks at the mask he then looks apon Gisias....*

Jihon: You will see in the end that even death cannot stop me! My abilitys are far more advanced than yours!

*The mask is placed apon Jihons face and it slowly sinks into his skin. The mask churns on his face as he begins to scream in agony. The pain is unbearable to the point that he breaks the chains that bind him to the wall. He lashes out wildly killing several of the guards with the firey aura he is emminating. Their entrails fly across the walls as a smirk forms across Gisiases face... Jihons crys of pain turn to burst of insane laughter as the mask bonds with his soul. His arms go limp and the firey aura sucks into him...*

Jihon: Gisias... Oh Gisias... I am not yet under Your power...

*Jihon blasts Gisias in the chest mortally wounding him... Yet he lives.*

Gisias: Just as I thought...

*Gisias raises a hand and his soul is absorbed by Jihon. Jihon scratches at the mask wildly.*

Jihon: Get out of my mind!

Gisias: Its mine now... YOU GET OUT!!!!

*In a blinding flash of light Gisiases former body falls limp and falls to the ground with a lifeless thud. Jihons body also goes lifeless....*

cLuTcHFieND runs over to Kalana. He is relieved to find her still alive.

"Thank god. You should know better than to rush into things like that."

cLuTcHFieND reaches into a pouch on his belt and pulls out a strange looking bean. He pushes it into Kalana's mouth.

"There you go. A Sensu bean. I only have one more, so let's be a little more careful, okay?"

cLuTcHFieND looks on as Kalana slowly chews up the bean and swallows it.

"LOOK OUT HALCON!!"

*As Jharm is yelling his warning he slams is fist down in to the small group crushing every last one. Jharm then spins around and picks up 3 tritons and crushes them into one ball which he then throws into a bunch of marines killing them.*

"You guys go ahead I'll finish with these guys, JUST GOOOO!!!"

*Jharm smashes his foot down on the gorund again sending most of the remaining chaos forces to their feet giving the rest fothe gang time to "escape" and head to the temple.*

While finishing off, Jharm looks up into the sky to see some very unusual looking stars. They slowly get larger, as they seem to descend. After looking for several seconds, he realizes that the stars are actually barrage shots fired from some distance. He quickly moves out of the way, as they come crashing down, each making their own domed explosion, annihilating the already dead corpses of the Chaos. When they all are finished crashing there are several large holes in the ground with nothing left in them. Meanwhile, back at the Temple, Sabre Soldier slides along all of the walls in his Tenebrous Form. All the one's that he encounter do not seem to notice the moving shadow. After a while, He comes across a sealed door with an enscription on it. It glows a bright red, and Sabre Soldier realizes that it's the Antediluvian's Chamber.*

Fei: Looks like this is the place. I don't want to crash his beauty rest quite yet.
Dragon: Ah, come on. I wanna see this Ventrue anyways. Show him a taste of what a dragon embedded on a methuselah can do.
Fei: Not yet, there may be guards around to assist. We better go take care of them.[/i]
