Senshi looks upon Soul Reaver, wide-eyed. She coughs up blood. She looks down at Blooddrinker as it begins to absorb the toxin. She growls, then lets out a deafening roar as she jerks the the sword away from her, countering Reaver's force. She jumps back a few feet, grasps her midsection and breathes, heavily. The sword managed to absorb quite a bit of the effective toxin, but not enough. A concentrated enough dose still remained.
Tenshin: "Finish him!"
Senshi runs at Soul Reaver and kicks Blooddrinker out of his hands and holds it down with her foot. She then slams the warrior into a wall and with her free hand creates a small, green, energy ball. Then Soul Reaver's voice enters her head.
'This is what I was talking about. It is Chaos Magic.'
Her memories are playing back in her head. She begins to remember the words Reaver spoke to her back at the HQ command center.
'It is by nature, unpredictable, and shaping it is like trying to carry fine sand between your fingers...some of it seeps through, and it touches your spirit.'
The energy ball grows bigger and glows with intense brightness. She brings her hand back, ready to impale it in Soul Reaver.
'Remember, Asaki...your soul is your own.'
The ball fades and Senshi shuts her eyes, tight, and begins to growl as if trying to escape unwanted thoughts in her mind.
'Pay attention to your own soul. You must focus...'
Senshi begins to hold her head, still holding on to Soul Reaver.
'...Control...'
She releases a shocked Soul Reaver and holds her head tight with both hands.
'...Concentrate.'
She looks up at her brother out of the corner of her eye. She notices him laughing....at her!
'Concentrate!'
Senshi looks into Soul Reaver's eyes. Hers begin to flicker as the green begins to fade.
Senshi: "....Sen...sei..."
She ascends into the sky towards her brother. As she leaves, Soul Reaver notices a splatter of blood on the floor. Blooddrinker left it's damaging mark on Senshi. She flies up and hovers a few feet away from Tenshin. Some of her sense, returning.
Senshi: "Y....you....were...gonna let me.....d...die."
Tenshin: "That was the original plan, yes."
Senshi: "Why?"
Tenshin: "Because, you fool. I blame you for our parents' deaths. Had you not been so high on yourself, they'd still be alive! We could have fought those men off. It's all your fault! I trained you all those years ago, so that I'd have the opportunity to destroy you....in a somewhat even battle. To kill you...Once and for all."
Senshi: "I don't want to have to...destroy you. You're my...my brother. We can be together again. Leave the c...chaos lords and join us."
Tenshin: "Join you? One of the 'good guys?' With Clutchfiend, and him? *points at Soul Reaver* He tried to destroy you! And you fight along side them? Do you even know what you're fighting for? I'd rather make you suffer then ever fight along side you again. I hate you!"
Senshi looks down, saddness reflects on her eyes. Tenshin grins. Then begins to attack. He takes advantage and excecutes his first attack on Senshi's fresh wound. She doubles back in pain, holding her midsection.
Tenshin: "C'mon! Show me what you've got! Show me!" *Senshi doesn't make a move* "Very well." Tenshin fires at Soul Reaver, badly wounding him. He laughs out loud.
Senshi: "NO!"
Her spiked blue hair begins to move as if the the wind picked up. Small sparks begin to flash all over her as her eyes begin to glow bright white. Tenshin ceases laughter, a surprised look on his face. Senshi begins to growl as her aura begins to increase dramatically. She roars and attacks her brother. She beats down on him, kicking, clawing, and punching. But stops shortly and holds her stomach in pain. Tenshin laughs.
Tenshin: "The concentrated Celestial Toxin does not allow you to heal massive wounds. What a pity."
Senshi swings at him. He moves to the side and grabs her wrist. She swings with her left, but he grabs that arm as well. He grins at her, then brings her down on his knee, and pulls, making certain to cause suffering from the wound she recieved. She coughs up blood once more. Tenshin then twists her right arm behind her back, and puts his other arm around her neck.
Tenshin: "Take a look Soul Reaver. It's the last thing you will ever remember about her."
Senshi brings her wings back, breaking Tenshin's hold on her. She flips backwards in the air and kicks him in the face. Tenshin holds his nose then begins to fight back. The two beat down on each other mercilessly, but his power overwhelms her.
