Soul Reaver continues to writhe in the dark emptyness of his unseen prison... but he senses that his jailor has left him to his own pain.

Through his veil of tortured agony, Soul Reaver thinks to himself...

I cannot remain here. I have no hope of discerning the identity of my kidnapper, and I cannot forever survive this torture. I must escape!

Soul Reaver begins by banishing his armour... it disappears with a burst of red light. Unfortunately, this attempt to create some breathing room almost fails as his bonds tighten against his skin to compensate...

But not before Soul Reaver has a chance to violently slam his fists into the wall he is bound to. Soul Reaver feels, rather than hears, a massive crunch as the stone behind him begins to give.

Soul Reaver then arches his back and strains against his unseen bonds, and they cut into his flesh like razor-wire.

However, the stone begins to crack and shatter behind him, and after an agonizing few minutes, Soul Reaver is free... save his right hand.

Despite his best efforts, Soul Reaver cannot free this hand. And so he grits his teeth, tenses his muscles... and with a single, powerful motion, allows the bonds to slice his hand from his arm.

Soul Reaver senses what may be the malevolent joy of his jailor as he cradles his right arm to his body, but he has no time to wait. He casts a spell to open a Warp Gate, and dives through.

Escape!

And in the darkness, the entity smiles and silently laughs to itself...

Kawanua:: We aren't testing you....we are dicussing amongst each other whether we should leave you and let you die once again.

Keseno:: I already agreed..but kawsonia and kawanua are more stupid and have good in them so they take longer to decide.

I thought i buried you when samantha died!!!! GO AWAY!

Keseno:: you mean when you brought me out after fighting a enemy then turned on Samantha and killed her? You mean YOu killed her! no way of avoiding it!

LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!

Kawanua curls up and screams. everything around him shatters apart. a thunderhawk above gets pushed high into the air. bits flying off then exploding. Kawanua stops screaming and cries.

" Just leave me alone.... "

If I were a Slayers character, I'd be Lina Inverse! Who would you be?

((okay.. I guess we forgot to mention this

... Hells Winds don't have blood, being spiritual beings from the Umbras, both lower and upper. Sorry for the mistake...))

As Asaki and the others fight dilligently against the Legions of Hells Winds, no matter how many they kill, they just seem to keep respawning from Some Source, then flooding in once again. ((This is where everyone is trying to go to get to the umbra... it's a rift to the upper umbra, where they respawn.))

More upon More keep coming, and soon, they easily out number the other warriors 100 to 1... even the Chapter of Space Marines that have arrived to fight.

The Hells Wind come crawling in hordes to fight the others, though not very powerful, only being a cult of unexperienced fighters, they do have their toll as they continue to keep coming, for as they die, they are sent back to the umbra, where they travel through the rift and back to the battlefield, their Sythes in hand.

I like to be in control of myself. I dislike crowds, especially crowds containing people trying to kill me. Even though I always win, I prefer to avoid fights if possible.

[OOC: I guess u guys have talked out how u r going to defeat the Hells WInd and save the city b/c i have no clue what u guys have planned to do. Of course it would make everything so much easier if you guys would actually post...not to be rude but what has happened to everyone. For the past 3 days now no one but Fei for a little bit on the 1st day has been on AIM. And there hasn't been almost anyone on the boards either. Has everyone just vanished off the face of the Earth??]

((OOC: Jharm, it was the weekend. There's this little thing called "a job", and I have two of them. I worked 12 to 10 Saturday, and 1 to 10 Sunday, so be glad I even posted at all and kindly get off my back. :o_0

))

As cLuTcHFieND continues to fight, he notices that he has gotten close to where Lord Dante is trying to defend the main gate. He fights his way over to him. Lord Dante sees him coming and hails him as he decapitates a HW soldier with his power axe.

"Lord Cameron! Fight along side me on this glorious field of battle!"

cLuTcHFieND and Dante charge a group of HW's and rip them apart. cLuTcHFieND glances around.

"They're respawning somehow! We'll just be fighting them forever at this rate."

Dante blasts a charging HW with his master-crafted plasma pistol.

"Yes, you have a point. We'll retreat to the gate. We may not be able to kill them, but we can keep them out of the city."

Dante activates his headset radio and begins barking out orders as he and cLuTcHFieND begin to fight their way towards the city, gathering marines as they go.

Meanwhile, Lt. Peterson is doing everything in his power to get to Asaki, who is still rushing around the battlefield with Blooddrinker.

"ASAKI! STAY WITH US! YOU'LL GET SLAUGHTERED OUT THERE BY YOURSELF!"

Lt. Peterson begins to run, ripping through HW's with his bolter and chainsword.

cLuTcHFieND and Dante, along with a group of 20 marines that they gathered along the way, finally reach the city gates. They turn around and begin to fire ad the groups of HW's that are chasing them. Suddenly, cLuTcHFieND's eyes go wide as he hears a voice enter his head, speaking in his native language.

((OOC: cLuTcHFieND, of course, is not a human. His planet had it's own language system set up, but since I'm too lazy to actually make one up, I'll just tell you when someone is speaking it.))

Help me! Please help!

cLuTcHFieND looks around trying to figure out where the voice came from.

(ooc: sorry guys, I was waiting for someone else to post but I guess not...it was like everyone dissappeared. I didn't log in as Asaki cause my comp's shuting down. The weather here is getting worse and worse. Just so no one gets confused.)
Asaki continues to attack the opposing force, without hesitation. In this state, she's liable to get herself killed...and that is the way Blooddrinker prefers it.
The teenager turns around abruptly and stabs Lt. Peterson with the sword. It tears through the flesh with ease and rips through his collarbone. Blooddrinker begins to bask in the crimson liquid just as Asaki snaps out of it. She holds her head then looks up and her eyes go wide with fear.
"NO!"
She begins to tug with all her might against Blooddrinker. It's force, somewhat greater than hers. Her muscles tense as she hears Peterson's pained shouts of agony. She can feel Blooddrinker absorbing his life source.
"No! No! NO!"
Asaki clenches her teeth and closes her eyes, tight. She grabs onto the handle, her knuckles turning white from the pressure.
"No! I won't let you have him!"
Peterson's shouts become louder as Asaki continues to pull. A strained cry leaves the teenager's throat as she gives one final tug, putting every bit of her weight and force into it. Blooddrinker is removed in a shower of blood.
She breathes heavily and rapidly, the weapon in her hands. Peterson falls to the ground. Asaki falls to her knees and lifts his head into her lap.
"Oh God. Oh God, what have I done?" She looks at Blooddrinker in her hand and drops it to the ground. She then looks down at Peterson in a state of panic.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
She takes a look at her hand. It is smeared in blood. Her hand begins to tremble. She shakes her head slowly and presses her hand against Peterson's torso, right above the heart.
"Stay with me. C'mon. Peterson. Don't die on me, man! Come on!"
She looks around as the HW's begin to creep closer, surrounding them. She can't escape with an injured man and she refuses to leave him there. She holds onto Peterson, tight, protecting him, as she looks deep into the enemies' eyes...awaiting oblivion.

"She just attacked Lt. Peterson! GET HER!"

The Blood Angels charge Asaki, firing their weapons in her general direction.

Peterson sees this, and tries to tell them to stop, but all that comes out is a painful gasp.

Asaki looks towards the marines firing at her. She gasps. Her brown eyes wide with fear. She closes her eyes tightly and lowers her head.
The first blast goes towards her head, then ricochets against a green shield.
The shield protects Asaki and Peterson as the marines and HW's continue to attack her.
I'll help you. Kill the marines, and you will be spared...
"No! I will not!"
The teenager holds onto Lt. Peterson tighter, afraid.
*Sensei...what do I do?*

The marines immedeately stop firing at Asaki and attack the HW once more. Peterson falls over into Asaki's arms.

*Jihon looks at Tukedo while fighting off a hells wind.*

Jihon: Tukedo! Find a man named Peterson! He is with the marines! Tell him To send as many soldiers as he can spare to the portal opening.... We have to stop the flow before we can even think of getting in there....

Tukedo: But... Where should I look?

Jihon: He's with the hIgh ups... Just ask any of the marines the should know.

*A spray of blood shoots across Jihon's torn shirt as he withdrawls the Pain Saber from the chest of a Hells wind.*

Tukedo: I have a much easyer method....

*Tukedo Points His left arm at Jihon. Jihon's eyes grow wide with a sudden fear. In a sudden flash a needle with a thin cable attached to it slams into the side of Jihon's head.*

Jihon: Wha... Wha....

Tukedo: It will only hurt for a moment....

*Tukedo's eyes change into a strange green color and as quick as the cable came... It is gone.*

Tukedo: See... It wasn't that bad was it?

Jihon: Damn! That hurt like hell! Next time warn me.

Tukedo: Pardon me....

*Tukedo looks around the battle feild across the many hells winds and then he sees something....*

Tukedo: He is down... His heart rate is slowing.... We must hurry...

Jihon: Shit... This is worse than I thought....

*They start to charge in the direction which Tukedo is running... When they are met with a wall of a few thosand hells wind....*

Jihon: Shit....

Tukedo: It would appear that we are out numbered....

Jihon: Just yell... we are intimadating fellows....

*Jihon looks at Tukedo and winks.... Then they both look at the now charging hells winds and scream and shake their swords... The hells winds stop suddenly and fall back...*

Jihon: See... I told you it would work....

Mystery voice: Ummm... Jihon....

*Jihon turns around to see Tom... as well as the entire Cenzar army....*

Tom: Where's my car?

Peterson grows still. Asaki shakes him a bit.
"Peterson? Peterson!"
He is not dead, but unconscious due to shock from the wound. She drapes Lt. Peterson gently over her right shoulder and uses Blooddrinker to get to her feet. She begins to run with Peterson on her back. She gives a battle cry as she continuously blasts HW's with her chaos magic. She feels a sharp pain as a weapon fires at her ankle. She blows the enemy to smithereens and continues to run, limping.
She sinks to one knee at Clutchfiend's feet, her breath heaving and her face arms and legs streaked with blood. She looks up at Clutchfiend, her eyes filled with sorrow, guilt and worry.
"Help me, please, sir. Who's Lord Ailleron? I have to get him to him quickly! He's alive, but he's lost a lot of blood. Please, help me!"

cLuTcHFieND had just dispatched another HW when Asaki approached. He looks at Peterson with concern.

"Well, I'm Lord Aileron. He's in bad shape! What happened to him!"

cLuTcHFieND looks around.

"APOTHECARY!!!!!!!"

One of the Sanguinary Priests runs over. cLuTcHFieND motions to Peterson.

"Take care of this man!!!"

As the Apothecary begins working on Peterson, cLuTcHFieND notices how shaken Asaki is.

"Are you ok? what happened?"

Meanwhile, in the back of cLuTcHFieND's mind, the strange voice continues.

*Jihon looks at tom and smiles...*

"Its still in one peice...."

*Jihon turns away and looks in the direction tukedo is now running through the crowds of hells winds. Blood is seen flying as he charges through. Jihon simply follows the path of corpses Tukedo has created. He then sees Peterson... Asaki... and....*

"CLUTCHFEIND!"

*Jihon runs to him and smiles*

"How the hell are ya! Its about time you showed up! I knew you weren't dead!"

Jihon looks down at Peterson...

"He looks bad... what happened?"

*Jharm finally comes out of his coma-like state to see the battlefield in utter chaos and the marines losing. He then sees the portal with the HW army coming through it. He then sees Peterson by CLutchfiend.*

Dear Lord almighty. This must end.!!!

*Jharm floats over to Krodain*

Jharm: Thank you for guarding me, but we must defeat the Hells Wind now. Help any marines that you see in any way possible.

Krodain: Yes Seraphim

*Jharm then flies up in to the air and extends his hands upwards. He then shouts in latin, with a loud booming voice that causes all the angels to look up at the Seraphim.*

(translation) "FOLLOW ME SOLDIERS OF GOD (which could also count the marines)!!! TO THE PORTAL!!! THE CITY MUST NOT FALL!!! FOLLOW ME!!!

*Jharm then chants a prayer and everyone begins to hear a strange sound emminating over the battle field. Clutchfiend, Peterson, Jihon, Tukedo, Fei, and Alex know what it is...IT'S THE PHANTOM ANTHEM!!!* (hehe, I couldn't resist)*

*Jharm summons up his spear and charges towards the portal with the whole angel army (which has now grown to 600, which is pretty awe inspiring) towards the portal, ripping apart Hells WInd soldiers as he goes. He then shouts his his loud booming voice again*

{translation) WE SHALL STAND HERE!!! LET NO HELLS WIND PAST!!! FOR GOD!!!! (as he says this he sends en enormous holy spher slamming in to the ground killing a large number of Hells Wind soldiers.)
