No Kawanua. Zhann had come to the conclusion that he was definately dead. No signs of him or even his existance since he entered the umbra. "Zhann," a voice behind him called. "Sofom," Zhann said, turning around and recognising Sofom's voice. "Sankana is here," Sofom said simply. "Why... are you telling me this?" Zhann asked curiously. "Follow... he plans to blow up a small planet." "But I thought..." "I know. I know he's real. I..." "Where is he?" Zhann cut in quickly. "Come." Zhann followed Sofom. Out the umbra, through dazzling purple, blue and white light. Into a strange new universe. "Where is this?" Zhann demmanded. "And where is Sankana?" "This universe is called The Henyak. It is ruled by an overbeing called The Henyak," Sofom said. "I was here when I heard about sightings which described Sankana exactly - tall, dark, heavy armour, red eyes, blue shoulder pads..." "Your lead." Sofom and Zhann strode swiftly across the white ground. "I'm leading you to the palace where The Henyak resides. Few have seen him... his powers dissolve all those who come close and who aren't strong enough," Sofom huffed. "You think..." Sofom cut him off. "I know we are strong. When I fought you I knew you could have beaten me if I made one wrong move. One of us had to win." "We are equals?" "...Yes." Zhann stopped, but after the hesitation kept walking. After a few moments of silence they reached the palace. "This is it?" Zhann asked. "Let's enter," Sofom said, pushing ahead. Sofom opened the doors. Blue light filtered out of the doors, but Zhann and Sofom entered anyway. Inside was a large staircase straight ahead, with various smaller ones twisting crazily to the sides. Without any thought, the two sword warriors hurried up the stairs. At the top were a set of doors, which Sofom and Zhann moved towards. "Behind these doors is the large room where The Henyak usually stays," Sofom explained quickly. "Something is wrong. Even if we were strong we would be able to feel his power..." "Let's just go," Zhann said. Sofom opened the doors. No bright light. In fact, it was reasonably dark. But there was enough light to allow them to see what lay ahead of them. Blood pouring, intestines scattered everywhere in a pool of crimson blood. All that came out of a large, fat, green worm-like-creature. Nothing needed to be said. They both knew this was The Henyak. "Dead," Zhann stated simply. Then... "What's that?" In the far corner, a long metallic object caught the light. Zhann and Sofom moved cautiously closer, but both sensing danger. "Well, well, well..." Sankana said, stepping out of the shadows. "Nice of you two to join me. Too bad I am twice as strong as each of you. I can sense it!..." "Why did you kill The Henyak?" Zhann demmanded. "This universe is mine! Here I will create beings just like I created you, Zhann! I will have the time and space! Then I shall move to each universe, destroying everything with my undefeatable force!" Sankana yelled triumphantly. Sofom and Zhann froze. It wasn't for a while till anyone moved or spoke. "Let's go," Zhann said. Nothing more needed to say. After being enemies for so long, Zhann and Sofom knew that everything relied on them. Zhann had been created by Sankana, and knew that a whole army of stronger beings than himself even individually would be able to challenge Kawanua. Zhann and Sofom gave a small nod. Then they both started their attack. The Storm Blade. Absorbing energy from all beings around, all living creatures and organisms. Energy absorbing into their swords, so they could lash out with a striking deadly blow. Only to be used as a last resort in a fight. Or, like in this case, a desperate suicidal measure. "Hahaha.... huh?" Sankana stopped in his tracks. He took his sword out. "No! I shall attack you before you can attack!" "Too late," was all Sofom said, leaping beside one side of Sankana. "You created me," Zhann said, leaping on the opposite side. "And even if it means my life, yours will end." "No!" Sankana gasped, horror striking home. "You... Zhann..." A brave smile escaped onto Zhann's face, a tear that never had the chance to drop beginning to welm in his eye. "Now," Zhann said. Sofom and Zhann swiped their swords towards Sankana. Almost impossibly strong attacks, speeding towards the evil being. Sankana muffled a yell, right before the attacks hit. With a massive explosion, the whole palace erupted into flames. Smoke billowed high and debris scattered all through the universe. Within two seconds, the whole castle had exploded into nothing but dust particles. At that moment, two brave yet determined warriors had sacrificed themselves for so much.
