Soul Reaver nods as the companions urge him to continue.

"Indeed, we should go.

I can see Stavarus' trail from here. We will need to follow it."

Soul Reaver walks onwards, the companions following behind. As he walks, Soul Reaver speaks to Tamrissa.

"I do not know what exactly Khora is planning. I suspect that he will need the help of the entire Dark Legion to find Stavarus - since he is constantly on the move, locating him will be exceedingly difficult without a lot of manpower.

I am not sure if Khora would send the Dark Legion after us after he finds Stavarus - perhaps he would have nothing more to fear from us then. But I do not intend to find out what he would do - I hope to find Stavarus before he even succeeds in resurrecting the Dark Legion."

The companions walk in the alleyways between a number of towering OGHRUN buildings. Eventually, they arrive at an imposing structure. It is domed, like all the largest OGHRUN constructs, and it appears to be some sort of museum.

Before the companions can enter, however, a small, ragged entourage of now-free slaves approaches them, big smiles on their faces.

Soul Reaver, though impatient, waits for them to say what they want to to the companions.

"We just wanted to tell you all how much we appreciated your help. We've been told that Terean the Wise is forming a parliament here to re-establish order in the city. I have heard that a small group of magically-gifted OGHRUN have managed to convince the others to co-operate. It's going to be hard, but... well, it's a new beginning.

Thank you all again."

Soul Reaver gives a small bow of acknowledgement, but then strides into the museum.

Within, Soul Reaver follows the twisting trail of Stavarus. It is obvious he was searching thoroughly, and was occassionally forced to hide - probably from OGHRUN guards. Eventually, his trail leads into the museums' hall of records. Several large tomes were still lying open and unsorted on a oversized desk.

Soul Reaver scowls as he realises that Stavarus left the building through the glassless, curtainless window in that room. Soul Reaver looks at his companions apologetically.

"Stavarus was here, but it seem he did not find what he was searching for. He left through the window... we will follow his trail again from outside."

Returning outside, Soul Reaver walks around the side of the building, once more seeing a shimmering pathway before him. It eventually leads to a crack in the city wall. A quick examination shows that it leads outside the city.

Of course... he would not have been able to open a Warp Gate inside the city limits. He must have headed outside the range of the Vortex Gem and left from there.

Somewhat sheepishly, Soul Reaver explains.

"My apologies, Asaki, but it seems that we will have to leave the city after all.

Everyone, please squeeze through the opening in the wall here and wait for me on the other side. I will organise some transporation."

With that, Soul Reaver runs off towards the main gate...
