Keeping his face down, he muttered something just enough for the others, not including the villagers, to hear him, "Look like I called it. Stavarus must have became a little cracked during the period you've been seperated... Once again, I was right, yet none of you ever listen to me.... Do you see a pattern emerging here?" Crossing his arm, a sly smile crossed Gulver's face as he continued to lean against the wall.

Come on... POST!!! o_O) Soul Reaver sends a hate-filled glance in Gulver's direction. Still disturbed by what he had heard, Soul Reaver thinks scathingly of Gulver's 'wisdom'. It is simple to predict the source of a problem when you give the only three possibilites that are available anyway... Blooddrinker speaks to Soul Reaver in a taunting tone. Why not simply strike him down? He will be nothing but a burden anyway, and he is not to be trusted. Do you think Tamrissa will hold him forever? Soul Reaver calms down before answering. I will not fall into your traps, Blooddrinker. I will worry about him freeing himself if it happens... not before... Soul Reaver then nods at the villager, and walks over to his companions. "Regardless of what this villager has told us, we still must find Stavarus. According to him, Stavarus is less than two days ahead of us. If we hurry, we may well be able to catch up to him. Perhaps he will have been delayed in his search for this... seer. Let us continue our search immediately." Soul Reaver leaves the sad village behind, thoughts and disbelief of Stavarus' alleged atrocities still whirling painfully in his mind...

The dark corridors are all identical, all devoid of any features to break up the dark grey monotony. To their horror, Asaki and Peterson see a fourth set of gates ahead... but they too are thrown wide open, the steel sigil in its centre molten away. A flickering, dull grey glow can be seen in the distance of the corridor beyond. Khora may well be performing the lengthy resurrection ritual even know...

Kitharsis turns and starts walking to the corridor where Asaki and Peterson are. He sees their dust cloud lingering in the air. Very hard to cover your tracks in this place it seems. Picking up a slight run, Kith follows after them. "Lets go Thisias... By the way, my name is Kitharsis. We can get to know each other later, now we must stop Khora. Lets move."

The odd looking tail opens it's mouth as if to Yawn.... Thisias keeps running behind Kith... "Man... Meditation... Is definatly not good exercise!" Thisias huffs andpuffs as he attempts to pace himself. "I am the damned child... The legacy of shame... Yet... I fight... I will continue in my fathers footsteps... whether I am accepted or not..."

The gates clang wildly as she rips them open. "Thisias, we must hurry and reach the others. I hope you can keep up, you seem to be breathing heavy." I suppose we all should be a bit quieter, but this situation is quite ourtageous... We shall see what all this noise accomplishes... soon

Posts: 1675 Aug 11 02 10:33 AM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	On passing through the massive archway, Asaki and Peterson enter a corridor somewhat different from the others. The arched ceiling gradually descends somewhat, and the arches become more intricately carved. Every space between the columns of the arches houses an ancient suit of plate-mail armour, each resting its cold gauntlets upon a two-handed sword. The rows of dusty armour line the corridor on both sides, looking like forgotten, solemn guardians of whatever lies beyond the final seal. Suddenly, Asaki becomes aware of a strange humming sound. She looks down as an eerie orange glow slowly becomes visible. Below her feet is a massive runic circle, which she and Peterson have now entered. It is glowing with a strange orange radiance, and becoming brighter by the moment. Before Asaki has time to react, there is a sudden flash of light as the Stasis Rune activates. Khora's trap is sprung. Asaki and Peterson find themselves frozen in place, their muscles unable to move. They cannot breathe... yet oddly, they do not need to. However, to their horror, the runes around them begin to writhe and twist, changing into a different set of glyphs... At the same time, in the corridor behind Asaki and Peterson, two rows become visible, each magically-concealed rune appearing on the floor one after the other. Each of them begins glowing a dull, deep blue... but slowly their radiance increases in intensity to a sharp, chill sapphire colour. As the runes appear, the temperature in the long corridors plummet. Kitharsis, Yue, Thisias and Zera are caught in the agonizing touch of a huge Chill trap. Frost instantly crystalizes on the walls of the corridors, and it hurts to breathe. Their skin burns from the hideous cold. Meanwhile, Asaki and Peterson are helplessly caught by the Stasis as the the magic circle around them finishes its transformation. Khora's final Rune activates shortly before the Stasis wears off... Asaki and Peterson's vulnerable minds are assaulted by the power of the runic Mindstealer trap. Images of rage and betrayal flash through their brains, scattering their wits, attempting to eliminate reason. Kitharsis is obviously trying to kill them... Thisias is a tool of Daemons... Zera is a villain, and always has been... Yue is a cruel enchantress hiding beneath a kind facade... Mad thoughts whirling through their heads, Asaki and Peterson are released by the Stasis trap. Feeling an insane rage within them, they turn about, drawing their weapons and intending to slay their treacherous companions. They both head down the ice-coated corridors to finish them off... (ooc: The Mindstealer trap temporarily turns people against their closest friends. It will probably last only one or two posts from Asaki and Peterson before it weakens enough for them to attempt to overcome it. In the meantime... well, have fun!)

As hard as she tries to break away from the fear and anger, she cannot. She clenches her teeth and breathes as a growling tiger would. Then, once her strength is returned to her, she drops Kasei, falls to her knees and clutches at her heart, snarling. The fire rod hovers in the air and zips towards the others. Asaki hunches over, growling, frustrated, as she begins to change form. Black, dragon-like wings sprout out instantly from her back and her hair spikes, turns blue and grows. Her fingernails turn black and emerge as long, sharp claws. Horizontal stripes appear on the teenager's cheeks and two small wings develop on her ankles. Her tail flicks furiously as her muscles bulge in small surges of electricity. Slowly, she looks up, her irisis glowing green. She turns to her right to observe Peterson and her eyes narrow... Kasei flies towards the other warriors, in more of a hurry than usual. Kasei: You guys! We're too late! Run! They're coming! They're coming!! A strange, but powerful sensation drapes over the warriors as a sudden ominous silence fills the air. Down the corridor, a black figure begins to move closer, walking at a normal, calm pace. For a second it appears as if Khora is approaching to destroy them. Kasei's ruby tip begins to blaze with the instigation of fire for a few seconds before it fires. The entire area lights up with radiance, nearly blinding, as the blast of inferno hits it's target. Green glowing irisis stand out in the darkness and the sound of footsteps echo in the corridor. Within the crackling of fire, the figure emerges, walking as normally as before. It is not Asaki, but Senshi. An evil grin spreads across her face, revealing sharp, white fangs. When she comes into view, she stops walking, raises her right hand towards the warriors and fires a great energy pulse in their direction... \|With chaos as my guide, I walk the plains in search of a worthy battle....\|

He being a reptilian hybrid, is affected immensely by the change in temperature. Kasei shouts her warning and Kith's eyes widen. He is a sitting duck. Senshi shoots the ball of energy at the group. Kith, being in front, gets the blunt of the attack. The energy tears into him. He slowly tried to block it with the spikes on his arms, but they don't get there in time. He is knocked back the corridor, bouncing off walls. His spikes piercing holes in the stone, some of then cracking, causing great pain. In a motionless heap, Kith lands on the ground. He is quite a distance away from the others. Blood drips out from the cracks in his spikes. Where the energy hit him his scales are broken off and chipped. His skin is burnt, already blistering slightly.

Leaping into the air, she releases an ear-piercing roar before coming down over Yue and ripping her right shoulder with her deadly claws. The teenager cocks her head to one side, staring at the girl. She then takes her by the front of her clothes and rears an arm back, claws extended, preparing to deliver a fatal blow to sever the warrior's head from her shoulders. \|With chaos as my guide, I walk the plains in search of a worthy battle....\|

Senshi than attacks Yue, striking her with her claws. Yue clutchs her shoulder and stares at Senshi as she grabs her. "Oh shit..." Thinking fast, Yue holds her good arm up in Senshi's face. She than casts a light spell, which blinds Senshi for a few moments enough for her to escape from her grasp. Yue falls to the ground and steps back a ways. We are not living, but merely existing out of the fear of dying.

A breaif smile crosses his cold lips as he watches the others approach... "Sus...Pension...." Every metal object in the roomm is suddenly frozen in space. Thisias manages to move slightly taking advantage of the slight temperature change due to the energy ball. He stands and allows his arua to touch the walls heating the room enough that the ice prison can melt.... Thisias looks at Peterson who is trapped in his armour.... "Kith.... Are you alright?" Thisias turns his head still looking at his challengers. "Be still... If need be I will carry you... This plane will not support my abilities for long...." Thisias looks at Asaki and her sword.... "Her sword is an enchanted object... Her's will wear off in a few moments...." Thisias looks back at Kith without patience.... "Hurry!!! They are under some spell!" Thisias looks at a section of wall quickly. He places his palm on it, and slowly small particles of dust seem to be attracted to it... "I have increased the density of this wall that it was a slight gravitation al pull...." The wall seems to be making cracking sounds like freezing ice. "This will make it difficult for them to walk through here..." Thisias looks at the two assailants once more. "I hope you know what you are doing... I do not tale betrayal well...." Thisias turns to Kith and walks slowly and carefully towards him.... "I do not know the fundementals of this plane... Perhaps we have less time than I originally figured...." Thisias leans over Kith. "If you can walk... do so.... If not.... I will carry you...." Thisias winces at the internal injuries given by the blast. "I am the damned child... The legacy of shame... Yet... I fight... I will continue in my fathers footsteps... whether I am accepted or not..."

To embrace your darker persona. You lust after it. I know you do.", Duriel's psychic voice speaking to Kanshisha. "I SAID NOT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", Kanshisha roared, his voice amplifying in volume and depth. The villagers quickly running. Some picking up weapons, ready to attack Kanshisha. "DON'T YOU DARE OR I'LL SEND YOUR TRANSIENT ASSES TO HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", Kanshisha roared as the ground cracked in blazing blue flame. A blue/purple aura enveloped Kanshisha's body, a transparent dragon-like demon arising from the ground. The clouds beginning to form into monstrous denizens of an unknown realm, roaring and pulsating with rage and metaphysical wind. "YOU WANT TO FIGHT ME?? HMMMMM??? FIGHT AGAINST MEEE~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COME AND GET ME~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!",Kanshisha roared as the small band of fighting villagers trembled and ran into their homes. "C'MON!!!!!!!!!! IS THAT ALL YOU CAN DO???????????? RUN AND HIDE LIKE THE COWARDLY PEONS THAT YOU ARE?????????? HUH?????!!!!! C'MON!!!!!!! YOU WANT TO THINK YOU'RE JUST AS HIGH AND MIGHTY AS THIS GREY HAIRED ASS??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", Kanshisha's voice growing louder and deeper with each passing word. And with each passing word, more Demons, Balrogs and Spirit Beasts, were summoned, blazing with bright firey Aura's of terror and liquidation. Amidst the rage, Kanshisha noticed a girl, about 4 years old, crying as her father held her. "n..........no...................no crying.......n-no fear......please...........please don't cry.", Kanshisha softly said as he realized what he was doing. The raging storms and demons, dissolved away into dust, the wind blowing the dust away into the sky. Kanshisha dropped to his knees and held his head. "Duriel........you conceited asshole........pray that none of these villagers were injured.", Kanshisha painfully whispered under his breath. Kanshisha looked as the villagers came out of their homes, staring at Kanshisha. Kanshisha then looked at Kawanua in shame. "I.........i'm..........i'm so sorry.......", Kanshisha softly said. Kanshisha then stood up and walked away from the village... "Milord.....that was beautiful.. And only at a fraction of your true gifts. I am pleased.", Duriel psychically said with pride "Fuck what pleases you, Duriel............Just let me be alone today.", Kanshisha coldly replied to Duriel. Despite the village automatically healing itself from a spell...Kanshisha could do nothing more, but walk away from Kawanua, shaking his head in shame.....

Kawanua throws Kanshisha to the ground. He looks at the villagers and bows trying to aplogize. " Forgive my Student, he has not learnt how to hold his anger. " Kawanua turns around glaring at kanshisha. " Kanshisha, from what i've seen so far your a child who explodes when theres something hyou don't like and you stay quiet when there are problems you should tell people about to help. If this continues i will only allow you to speak when I say so " Kawanua grabs kanshisha his arm crackling with black energy covering some of Kanshisha's chest. Kawanua sends a telepathic message to kanshisha incredibly with out kawanua knowing. Poor child, all that rage and power. and you have to hold it in. Pity......I feel and can see you have a evil side in you, much like kawanua...Come evil Come out from your hole and speak to me. Come forth, show me your power. His face turned towards Kawanua's face, and then within moments the crackling black energy dissolved away from Kanshisha's chest. A swift growl iminatred from his mouth as he looked to the ground before Kawanua. "I have nothing to say....", Kanshisha replied as he sharply turned and walked away. "My dear boy......your anger has grown since last you showed your power.", Duriel gloated for Kanshisha. "Didn't i just ask you to leave me alone today?", Kanshisha shraply asked. "Yes, ofcourse you did. But i oh so love looking after you. We do share the same shell, you know.", Duriel reminded Kanshisha. "No......we do not share the same shell, you just use my body as a conducter for your sprirt. Why don't you use YOUR OWN BODY?", Kanshisha asked Duriel. "1.)Becuase you are the sone of Xion. 2.)Because you made an agreement with me to save everything. and 3.) because you're cute.", Duriel replied, ever so deviously cheerful. "Bah! Just Shut up!!!!", Kanshisha replied. "heeheeheee. As you will, milord. As you will.", Duriel replied. Kanshisha took a sharp glare at Gulver and then at Tamrissa and Fei. he then lowered his head and clenched his fists. "fuck them.........", Kanshisha said under his breath. "They want to destroy me.....then they can return to their realms in coffins....as they await their souls in hades...." "I shall enjoy the spectacle, milord. I shall enjoy this indeed.", Duriel stated "can't you go watch over another Universe? Torment their inhabitants instead of bothering me.", Kanshisha said. "But i love you too much.", Duriel sarcastically replied. "jerk............", Kanshisha replied. "oh and by the way. There is someone after you and I, dear Kanshisha.", Duriel informs. "and whom would that be?", Kanshisha asked "i think you know who it is. young master. i think you know.", Duriel stated. "No. i don't know. why don't you tell me?", Kanshisha asked. "He thinks you are a mere being. one that he can use and bend to his will. How mistaken he is.", Duriel informed. "whoever he is, needs to keep their metaphysical ass away from me......", Kanshisha replied "I am far from being in the mood to put up with anyones nonsense.", he added. "and if they do give you nonsense, young master?", Duriel asked. "Then they will be dealt with......", Kanshisha replied. "now i need to be alone. Can you atleast do that for me?", Kanshisha asked Duriel "But ofcourse milord. ofcourse." Duriel replied, his voice ever the eerily charming sort. Kanshisha continued towards a cluster of trees. He sat down, crossed his legs and arms, and awaited a destination.
