As the silence drums out the echoing in her ears, Asaki lowers her eyes to the ground. "Asaki...When I am around...please do not talk about Samantha or Sera...," Kawanua speaks to her. The teenager nods. "Okay." She stuffs her hands in her pockets and walks quietly behind the warrior. She stares at Kanshisha as he quietly speaks, but she says nothing. As Yue asks her where they are going, Asaki shrugs. "I think I'll just wait here for the others." She stops walking and leans against a broken wall. \|With chaos as my guide, I walk the plains in search of a worthy battle....\|

Posts: 1675 Sep 29 02 12:08 PM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	Soul Reaver stands back a bit, giving a small, inaudible sigh of relief as Kitharsis seems to recover. He simply nods in response to Kitharsis' thanks. Meanwhile, Stavarus has resumed his search for the staff. Holding the lens up to his eye, he steps through the rubble, trying to find its trial. Soul Reaver looks around at the ruined buildings as he walks after Stavarus. On reaching him, he speaks. "It would seen the Dark Legion are busily searching for the Staff as well. It looks as if they were systematically tearing down the buildings here as part of their search. However, I doubt the staff would be here. This world is too... advanced. Magical artefacts are rarely found in places like this..." Stavarus says nothing as he navigates through more fallen concrete and steel.

He paces his way over to the gem lying on the ground. The surface looks rough and it is filled with no color. No, it was not this. It does not radiate the evil that I felt. Kith kneels and picks up the gem carefully. He rubs the surface with his thumb. It feels coarse. He stands again and walks towards Soul Reaver, his wings dragging on the floor. The bone one making a scraping sound and leaving a trail in the dust. As he approaches he searches his thoughts, but cannot find a reason for his sudden loss of control. Upon reaching Soul Reaver's position he asks a question. "Where do we go from here?"

Posts: 472 Sep 29 02 4:27 PM Alter-Ego Character More My Recent Posts	((OOC: No offense intended Fei, But if my attacks are too uber-powerful and overkill, then i can understand soul's restrictions since i pretty much agree with him on that..... It would be unfair if you were given special treatment, therefor be restricted from such rules for something that affects everyone here.Magic or not, it was overkill. My attacks aren't magic in any nature, but i realize i can't just post a mega attack that batters every enemy in sight, which is somewhat related to what you did. I've learned that that's unfair the hard way and i respect that. You should aswell... Your character may be a god {{which i fail to see the fairness in since he's not an NPC}} but that does not mean that he can do as he likes and not be affected by the rules....)) ((Hey Kanshisha, I wasn't complaining about it not being too powerful.. if you read my last post all I said was it was NOT magically induced...... Duhhhhhhhhh...))

Posts: 1297 Sep 29 02 7:45 PM Recruit More My Recent Posts	Tamrissa looks down at the hand around the ankle of her boot and steps back, watching as the figure of Kanshisha slowly gets to his feet in front of her. By the Umbras, Gulver wasnt just being an assholethey almost killed you, she gasps, watching him wretch the weapons free from his wounds. By the time she reaches to steady him, he is on the ground. She looks up as Kawanua comes forward and picks him up. Her eyes follow them for a moment and then turn to look at Cameron. No, he hasnt, she gives a simple answer, her eyes shifting over the carnage around them and the ruins of the silent buildings. Our next destination can be no better than this though...as long as the Legion still remains. She frowns as Fei comes limping towards her, his wounds healing even more quickly than hers. As soon as he grows close enough to her however, what remains of her cuts and bruises transfers to his body. Her brow furrows. I wish you wouldnt do that, even if it is the nature of the bond, she whispers into his mind, watching as he expresses hardly a flinch at his newly acquired wounds. A humorless smirk lifts the corner of his lips and he slowly turns his eyes away from her and to the efforts of Stavarus. She gives him an even deeper frown and then turns her gaze to the same direction. That man is not as weak as he seemed to be before this battle, she speaks lowly to Cameron and Fei. No matter how much we know of him now, he still remains suspicious to me. Yet, I suppose that paranoia of mine stems from the fact that he is intolerably rude and prejudiced. Fei continues to watch, hearing her words but not giving more than a nod. When he moves to walk towards the rest of the group, she follows, picking her way around and over the corpses ((OOC: You know I hate god-moding for people, Fei, (basically because I am not good at it) but I suppose I can try it out for you, ya buckethead. No complaining if I get some information wrong though! And if your attacks in any of the other battles we go through suck, its not my faultwell it will be, but anyway. Hurry back to the boards, buster!))

There is better for you than this priestly attitude the Matri Vhar have given you. She tightens her clawed hands on the arm holding her and, with a yell, flips him over her shoulder. Leaping back, she brings her sword up, eyeing her opponent carefully. Youre inside could match your outside if you would let it. The disorder of your lovely demon form would strike fear into the bravest of hearts if you would supply it the proper attitude. Her sword comes forward a little more roughly than her last strikes, hitting his blade with the dull clank of bone on bone. Your powers could be honed until they were sharper than Jahannas, the fool who did not plan well enoughbut your feeble attempts at staying on the good side are doing nothing to help you, she isolates her head to the side, watching him. Good and evil can be flipped like a coin, it all depends on your perspectiveand right now, all you are doing is evil to yourself, dont you see?you could be much better to yourself right nowhave everything you want, rule whatever you want. And I would lay down at your feet if youd only learn to see more clearly. She takes a few more severe hits at him accompanying them with ragged screams, then backs up and circles him slowly

A quick pulse of pain lashed through Kanshisha as he let out a yell of pain, falling off of kawanua, holding his wounds as they became cautorized (sp.?) Must leave here.....must..leave.... His psychic voice cried out to Asaki, Soul, Kawanua, Yue, and Tamrissa. And with a quick flux of pain and an arch from his back, he once again loses conciousness and his body goes limp. his breathing, normal, but his physical state was almost irrepairable....

She brushes Fei's arm with her fingers and turns to hurry towards Kanshisha. Her hands immediately start glowing and she kneels down. Kanshisha, she speaks into his mind. She looks up at Kawanua. "He needs healing...it doesn't look like he can heal this on his own." Her hands hover over the hooded one's chest, casting a dim white light. She moves one of her palms up to his forehead and the other remains over his chest. The irisies of her eyes flash a bright olive and her healing magic pours into him, working at knitting up his flesh wounds and giving him energy. Whether it is successful is yet to be seen...

" Kawanua closes his eyes and begins to concentrate. magma seeps from Kawanua hands Slowly covering Kanshisha's wounds. causing slight pain the wounds begin to heal. Kawanua Continues to concentrate giving Kanshisha his inner fire to heal his severely wounded body. " Come on Kanshisha wake up. "

I hope that Clutch has received her registration request. Secondly, Fei, while in the Mortal Plane, your character's Vampiric disciplines ARE magic. They stem from a divine curse, and thus they class as Divine Magic. Not that it really matters, since the outcome would have been the same even if they weren't.) Soul Reaver follows Stavarus reluctantly. He would prefer to ensure the safety of his companions first, but Stavarus' knowledge is too important for Soul Reaver to risk his being hurt. Inwardly, Soul Reaver curses Stavarus' callous attitude to his companions and his haughty demeanour. It is painful to see that his experiences have changed him so dramatically. Stavarus continues climbing over the jagged concrete corpses of the houses around him. As he follows, Soul Reaver spots numerous dead soldiers and destroyed armoured vehicles around him - it seems the city put up a fight before the inhabitants fled. Silently, he vows to make the creature responsible for all this destruction pay dearly. Suddenly Stavarus stops and exclaims loudly. "Ah-hah! The lens has finally resolved an image. I know where we must travel to next." He lowers the lens from his eye and looks Soul Reaver over. "I suppose you can all travel with me when I leave. Although I was having second thoughts about your usefulness as bodyguards, I suppose that you and your companions are still capable of holding your own against your foes. There may be times where your extra strength will come in handy. Let us now return to your companions and make sure they are ready." Soul Reaver scowls at Stavarus' arrogance, but says nothing. Instead, he accompanies Stavarus back to where most of his companions are gathered. Seeing Kanshisha being tended to, he hurries to his side. "How is he?"

I am giving him my strength..My fire regeneration ability for the time being.. and i am now Pouring magma onto his wounds. " Kawanua's hands and face grow extremely pale. He takes in a big gasp of air as he begins to concentrate once again. Kawanua begins to speak in a quiet tone while he continues with his healing. " And what of Stavarus...What is happening now? Kanshisha will not be in good shape to walk for a while.. I am almost dead.. I'm near the brink of mental exhaustion. And im sure the others will have to tend to their cuts and scratches. Will we be staying here until everyone is ready or are we going to press on? In my opinions i say we should press on once Kanshisha is healed to a certain point. W can heal the rest while we are moving. "

I am reluctant to tarry even a moment, but it seems that these Dark Legionnaires are willing to give heavy resistance, and I may still need your aid in the future, so I will wait until you are ready." Soul Reaver then speaks, reluctantly agreeing with Stavarus. "I also doubt we can wait much longer. Khora is obviously using the Dark Legion to tear worlds apart piece-by-piece in search of the staff. We cannot afford to have him find it before we do." Soul Reaver then looks critically at Kawanua. "You look exhausted... but we cannot leave you here..." He shrugs. "I can cast a powerful Sleep spell upon you and carry you if you wish. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that that sleep will remain undisturbed by our foes..."

I thought i looked better than i felt...Yes that sleeping spell would work.. If it blocks out any dreams or anything from my mind.. then yes it would help a great deal.. " Kawanua finishes up on healing kanshisha, the magma sits there never cooling it bubbles and pops with extreme heat. Kawanua grabs the magma, his hands burning slightly. He throws the magma to the ground examining Kanshisha's body. The wounds have healed quick a bit. no longer opening, they now look like a big scratch and grazes. Kawanua places his hand on the boys chest and grabs his regeneration ability. letting his hand heal in a matter of moments. " He is healed.. I don't know if he will awaken. But he will be fine now. You can cast if you want " Kawanua lifts his trenchcoat letting his wings covering him. He pulls his trenchcoat over him and buttons it up in certain places. Kawanua sits back on debris from a building and waits calmly and patiently.

Slowly he weaves the required mana into the spell, and releases it gently over Kawanua. Sleep overwhelms him almost immediately like a warm velvet blanket. Stopping at a nearly completely gutted building, Gulver sighed in a nearly depressed manner. "Just like home.... Son of a bitch.... Why? How the hell could it have been wiped out even with the Grey Demon units protecting homeworld?" Clutching his fist, he slammed it into the wall, cracking the concrete. Weakened even further, the foundations began to crack and the entire structure started to fall apart, slamming to the ground with an audible roar that could be heard throughout the city. In the midst of the maelstorm, Gulver stood still, staring at his hands. "Even now, I'm at a level of strength never possessed by my brethrens before... and yet I couldn't even return home to protect it.... All because of Naraka.... All because of a damnable statis spell! Bastard... Who could have done something like that?" The rumblings finally subsided and Gulver stood alone again in the dead silence of the city. He continued to look at his hands until he sat down on a fallen piece of rubble, muttering to himself, "I don't get it anymore.... I have... no weakness whatsoever.... No emotions....Yet.... Why do I feel a deep regret whenever I think of home? Why?" Shooting straight up to his feet, he let out a howl of pain that echoed throughout the dead city as flashes of images swept through his mind. The ulimate weapon, not like the other units. Come with me and we'll plunge the umbras in chaos. Why? Is it your purpose just to destroy? You have become too dangerous to even exist. Someone stop him! I don't care how! Just stop him! Hwo could you? To... your own creators.... NO! Don't leave me here alone! Not in the darkness! Not with myself.... Opening his eyes, Gulver gasped as he realized he was on his knees, the pain had already gone. But he was surprised to see that he was no longer where he was before but was now in different part of the city, closer to the companions. Looking to his hands, he saw that somehow, during the flashback, he had taken his claws out which was now soaked with blood. Looking around, he found that there were actually several suriviors from the Dark Legion attack... but they were no longer alive as their bodies were torn apart to pieces. Looking back to his hands, he finally made the mental connection that the blood was their. With a strangled croak, he stood up and walked away from the scene of carnage, try to get rid of the blood before anyone could find him.

The teenager looks down at the warrior's hands, at the blood dripping down. She makes eye contact with him, but doesn't say anything. After a few seconds, she holds her hand up and reaches towards him. Pale, green, swirled energy flows from Asaki's hand through Gulver's. The chaos magic surrounds the warrior's hand and in a matter of seconds, the blood has vanished. Asaki lowers her hand and stares through Gulver. Her big, brown eyes seem to study him, burning a hole right through him, but her expression looks innocent enough. "...Why are you so afraid?" \|With chaos as my guide, I walk the plains in search of a worthy battle....\|

His sword falls to the ground as he takes the other hand and places it on the other side of his head. "NOT NOW!!!!!!" Thisias falls to the ground and grabs at fistfulls of dirt..... "No....." Thisias whimpers.... "YOU ARE NOT MY FATHER!!!!!" Thisias starts beating on the side of his head.... Untill finally.... He colapses..... "I am the damned child... The legacy of shame... Yet...
