POST FOR JHARM: Once all of the beasts are dead, Jharm hears Stavarus shouting about the lens. His incescent (sp?) complaining and whining can make even the most holy think of sinning (Hint: He would like to smack him around a couple times) Jharm then dives in to the water, and begins to search for the lens. God, we must find that lens. Help us find it. Jharm then continues to search for it. POST FOR RAGORE: As the last of the Behemoths are killed, Ragore hears Stavarus yell about the lens missing. He is about to yell at Stavaraus, but decides that since he is the new guy, he probably shouldnt start anything. He then begins to search around some of the trees closest to where the battle happened. Posts: 978 Oct 12 02 9:16 AM [Insert Custom Rank Here] Colonel More My Recent Posts	Kitharsis, still underwater, hears Soul Reavers request and sighs, leaving a trail of bubbles to float to the surface. He opens his eyes and swims to the surface, only his head sticks out of the water, his spikes looming over him like curved onlookers. "I will look for a retrieve whatever I find that looks like the lens... I can't really gaurantee that it is found though." Stonefaced, Kith sinks back into the water. He swims towards the spot where he saw it earlier and picks up the shining object. Out of the corner of his eye he sees another blinking object. With a 'hmph' Kith swims over towards it and picks it up. As soon as he retreives another object another makes its presence known. Soon he has a large pile of things that he is carrying around. Finally, when he cannot hold any more he surfaces and dumps out his bounty on the shore. Kith's eyes go wide with shock when he sees what he actually brought to the surface. A pile of bones, mixed in with twigs, pebbles and weeds rests on the shore. In disgust Kith knocks them back into the water, leaving a few scattered pieces on the ground. Among them is something that looks like the lens to him. "Soul Reaver, is this what you seek?"

Posts: 1675 Oct 12 02 11:05 AM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	Soul Reaver seems disturbed when Kitharsis brings up the handful of random debris. Most of it does not even look remotely like the lens. What is going on here? A sneering, hollow voice echoes in Soul Reaver's head as Blooddrinker speaks to him. It looks to me that your companion is losing his mind. Are you certain that it is still safe to travel with this... thing? Soul Reaver does not reply to the sword, knowing it is trying to set him ill-at-ease and drive a wedge between him and his companions. Even so, of course, it DOES have a point... Soul Reaver shakes his head, as if to clear it, and looks down at the few items left. In the meantime, Stavarus has walked back to rejoin Kitharsis, his eyes wide. "That is it!" Stavarus snatches up the lens. It is grimy but undamaged, and Stavarus begins to try and clean it in the swamp-water as best as he can. Soul Reaver scowls at this, then speaks to Kitharsis. "Thank you, Kitharsis. I do not think we would have had much hope of finding the lens without your help... Soul Reaver continues talking, but now, his lips are no longer moving. He is speaking telepathically, so that only Kitharsis can hear him. ...but I am concerned about your mental state. Do you have any idea what is happening to you?

With a small, barely noticable laugh, he watches Tamrissa struggle down the muddy bank to the others in the water. "One of the strongest warriors in the Universe, and Queen of the Umbra, and you're having trouble walking through mud?" Fei chuckles at this until he's swept off his feet, falling to his back and sliding down into the water with a splash on his rear. "umm......heh heh heh......" Fei grins as his face begins to show a plush of embarrassment, then sneering and getting back up. "I guess it was more slippery then I thought... that won't happen again...." Wading through the water, Fei reaches the others and crosses his arms, his eyes going to the side as he looks over the area. Fei Serumen §¤§

" Now were are we going?Stavarus, Why don't you use that lens and tell us which direction the staff's trail is headed. We must move quickly Khora is already here, WE must get ahead of him. " Shenba's eyes glow with the colours of fire the swirl around her dark pupil. Shenba lowers her head and Gently grabs Kawanua by his clothes. She twists her head and places him on her wing letting him slide onto her back.

"I do not know where Peterson is... I'll look for him." Soul Reaver marches into the swamp, slogging his way through the waist-deep water. There is a slight sense of worry that he might not find Peterson alive. Soul Reaver calls out Lieutenant Peterson's name, hoping to get a reply. With the mosquitoes returning, the search is certainly less than pleasant. Meanwhile, Stavarus scrambles up higher onto the hill, placing the lens over his eye. Though muddy, he can see the faint swirling clouds inside beginning to take shape. Walking slowly, he looks for a place that will make the lens focus more quickly...

"I am... Breathing..." Tukedo Takes his finger to the area where he lost the plate on his chest. He electrically charges his finger and induces a small electrshock to the area of the lost chest plate. The black substance moves a bit as it is acted upon. It curns a bit.... "It would seem that when I power surged this being fused with my sytems... It is odd how it seems to be a part of me... Perhaps it is reading from my ID chip and fullfilling the need of my body parts.... Now it seems neccasary that I breath..." Tukedo stops breathing and the being seems to stop churning on his body... "Perhaps this will aid me somehow..." "I am the damned child... The legacy of shame... Yet... I fight... I will continue in my fathers footsteps... whether I am accepted or not..."

Watching as he trods into the water, Kith follows. With a whispered voice, Kith speaks to Soul Reaver. "I do not exactly know what is happenning to me. But apparently, when I change forms, something takes hold of one or some of my senses and alters their perceptions. There is also a spine curdling laughter, no, more like a cackle of a maniac, that makes itself heard in the back of my head, increasing in intensity the longer I fight. I will only shift forms if necessary, so do not be surprised if I stay like this for quite a while. I hate to jeapordize our mission, but I hate to abandon it solely to save myself rather than countless worlds. But I will understand if you wish me not to join you in the next gate jumping." Kitharsis hangs his head, clearly unsure of the future.

"cough...help me........Sera.......need...guidance.........", Kanshisha utters in his weakend voice. He leans against Shenba's wing. as he looks to the sky, his eyes barely opened, he wonders where Sera may be. He takes a small glance around at the group, looking for Asaki, but in his thin lined state, he cannot clearly see her. "Kuso...", he says. [/i][/u]"ahhh... you search for the prettyone, eh?"[/u][/i], Duriel mocks Kanshisha shut your mouth you psycho..., Kanshisha scowls. "ahh. physically weak.. yet psychicaly stubborn. Ahh. what a piece of work you are indeed.", Duriel replies, followed by a slight chuckle. his figure slightly appears infront of Kanshisha, his arms crossed and his eyes glowing. He scans the rest of the group and looks back at Kanshisha, his holographic figure staring down at the dilapidated young adult. " heh....I hope your friends survive this, young master... Because they still have me to deal with in the future.", he says to Kanshisha, his voice grew deeper as he neared the end of his sentence. in a flash of wind, Duriel's phantom image dissappeared, giving a slight glance to everyone. Then gone. Kanshisha let's out a cough as he leans back against SHenba's wing slowly. "jerk...."

She lifts her wing letting Kanshisha slide down. " Sleep now Kanshisha.. " Shenba looks around At everyone letting a puff of smoke out of her mouth. She rolls her neck slightly cracking it. She then lowers her head,closing her eyes waiting for the others to begin moving.

Posts: 1675 Oct 14 02 6:54 AM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	Stavarus squints as the image within the lens gradually begins to form silhouetted shapes... at first they are too crude to identify, but slowly they seem to resolve into some sort of massive building... a Cathedral of some sort, perhaps. Stavarus smirks evilly as the lens slowly imparts upon him the next possible location of his weapon of vengeance. Hopefully the Staff of Ashara would soon be in his grasp. As long as he could find it before this Khora... Soul Reaver meanwhile continues searching for Peterson, pushing his way through the weeds and sludge of the swamp, moving further from the others in his search. The worry that he may find only a corpse increases as he fails to receive a reply to his calls. The chilling water lapping around him, Soul Reaver keeps looking.

Above them, leaning against the tree trunk, the decayed branch barely sagging under his weight, was Gulver. Referring to Duriel's barely veiled threat, he added, "I'm looking toward that day.... Unless he's just another Daemon with delusion of grandeur.... Then I will be sorely disappointed..." Dropping down to the ground, he began to look around as if searching for something. "Speaking of disappointments, who is watching Starvus now? There's something wrong with him, and it's making me suspicious of him being not entirely truthful with us...."

And once again the genetic mistake opens his mouth. I'll enjoy ripping if from your skull. Until then, be a good little lab rat.", Duriel's shadowed phantom images says to Gulver as the ground below the bio-genetic warrior collapsed. With a small "hmph..", The figure vanished.

I think it'll be okay. )) Soul Reaver pushes through a clump of bushes and comes across something strange. Beyond the bushes is a small clearing. A circle is burned into the grass. The circle has glowing runes hovering around it, but these runes are quickly begining to fade. Peterson's scythe is stuck into a tree nearby, and there is blood on the ground near it. Peterson's pendant is in the center of the circle.

As Soul Reaver, pushes through some high grass to see the circle, Fei is right behind him, looking down over his shoulder. Trudging through the grass, Fei walks towards the circle. "Wow... Crop Circles and a Struggle.... Looks like Peterson was Abducted by Aliens...." With a small hmph, Fei begins to ponder, walking over to the tree and prying the scythe from the trunk Fei Serumen §¤§
