Perhaps, like I have noticed before, it reads my sensors... You see Fei, when I see someone I see them entirely different than a human. I do not see them as something that is made of flesh, I see you as energy patterns... I can only tell what a person's actual features are when I touch them... It is most definatly a strange trait, but appearantly my creator knew what he was doing...." Black strands of the ogranism shoot out and wrap themselves around each other seemingly molding away the form of Fei and returning to it's dull state. "This might definatly prove to be a handy skill sometime later in my life..." Tukedo sighs.... "Life" He smiles and looks at the others fighting.

A fade red bubble glows around kanshisha. In the dark forner 2 eyes glow bright red. A quiet murmer in the language of magic is heard from the same area. The words slowly die, the bubble remains but becomes invisible to the human eye. " Do not hurt that Boy.. Or you will deal with me. " kawanua remains in the shadows, in the dark his facial expression is filled with anger. " No more bullets wil pass through that shield. Until i say so. " The voice is rather husky not like kawanua's. Kawanua steps out of the shadows with shenba in his hand. his eyes slowly return to there normal red colour. " We are not daemon hunters, not all of us and we are not daemon allies. Now put down your weapons... He looks down to his private area and looks back at Damien, giving him a vicious glare. "Grrrr.....you Jerk. That would have hurt more than those shards in your ass!!", he scowled at Damien, a bit of irritation in his voice, hiding the fact that he was relieved that no damage was done. "Geez...i need to train more.....", he said to himself as he shook his head, stood up, and dusted himself off.

And how big was it? Less than 1 Mb?) Soul Reaver, still concentrating on the battle, narrows his eyes in a questioning fashion. "Daemon Hunters? Daemon ALLIES?? What are you talking about?!" Before he gets a reply, however, Kanshisha engages Damien, and Damien retaliates - only the strange interference from... Kawanua?... manages to protect him. Soul Reaver is about to continue the battle when... "DAEMON ALLIES?!!" Stavarus somersaults over Soul Reaver's head, a dagger in each hand. In an instant, he is sending a flurry of slashes at Damien, all the while darting left and right, making it nigh-on impossible to judge where he will be next and where his attacks will be coming from. "I will spit you like the pig you are for that comment!! I will show you how a TRUE Hunter does his fighting!!!" His daggers blur through the air, giving off blue flashes with every strike...

Frowning, Cameron watches the rest of the events unfold before turning and walking out of the chamber, back the way he came in. He stops in a hallway just beyond the chamber and leans against a wall, allowing his armour to be replaced with his military uniform. "Well, they don't really seem to need my help. It would appear that everything is under control." Cameron looks down to the ground, figeting with something in his hands. He is growing restless. ((OOC: I won't be posting again till late Saturday. DO NOT GOD MOD MY ACTIONS. Thank you. ))

Her face displays a mask of shock before she backs down and goes back towards Gulver. i don't smoke, but if i did, i know i'd be lightin' up right now. Kasei transforms into a massive beast and picks up Gulver onto his back. Asaki sighs and looks back at the battle. "No sense getting involved in battles that can be easily avoided. Still...I'm curious about something else..." The teenager begins to leave the room. She hesitates a bit, wondering if the others will be ok without her. Kasei: If someone screams, we'll come back. Asaki nods, quickly making up her mind and exits. She curiously wanders around the main room until she spots who she was looking for. She smiles, waves and runs over. "Hey!" The teenager approaches Sera and extends a hand towards her. "You're Sera, right? I've been curious as to who you are ever since I heard Kawanua and Kanshisha talkin' about you. I'm Asaki." She smiles but her eyes contain a hint of stern curiousity. maybe now i'll find out why Kawanua lashed out at me when all i wanted was to know more about her... \|With chaos as my guide, I walk the plains in search of a worthy battle....\|

Posts: 472 Nov 1 02 2:14 PM Alter-Ego Character More My Recent Posts	Kanshisha gets up and prepares to engage Damien once more. But before he can launch any attacks a swift slice of a dagger slashes just past his head. Instantly he looks up to see Stavarus launching slash after slash after slash in such a high speed, that his arms appear to be blurs in the wind. The only problem was that Kanshisha was still between the two as this attack was commencing. He desperatle tried to get out of the way from stavarus' attacks after each swing of the dagger. "Hey hey hey!! Hey what the heck?! Wait till i move darn it!!!!", he yelled at Stavarus. But to no avail the Daemon Hunter did not hear him as his assault continued. Kanshisha then finds and opening, ducks and cartwheels out of Stavarus's line of sight as the assault still continues. He then falls back to the ground after excaping the mis-aimed onslaught and leaned back against a Pillar next to Yue. "I dunno about you......but i'm pooped....", he said to her, trying to lighten the mood of the battle.

He stops mid swing and backs up, clearly agitated that he still won't have a place in this battle. This is getting annoying... Simply get rid of them, you don't need them!! Of course I do, they are my friends. Are they really? Yes..... Kith hangs his pooeaxe over his shoulder then walks away, clearly disappointed.

Her pointy ears twitch as she hears running down the corridor. turning her attention she spots Asaki running towards her with a beast beside her. reaching for her sword she begins to pull out its blade, recognising who it is She sheeths the blade once more. She stares at Asaki's extended hand. Her expression remains stern. " Hello Asaki. Yes I am Sera Poi..Kawanua, Kawanua is my Father... " " As for Kanshisha, I looked after him when his parents died. After a few Years...I had to leave.. I wasn't even able to say good bye to him. What made me leave was very important.. My home was being attacked at that time.. and the messengers only just arrived where i was. So i had to leave urgently. And the Dragon roost which my clan gaurds was there. How do you know him? I thought that dark presence in him would of consumed him by now. " Sera extends her hand and firmly shakes Asaki's hand. She turns around facing the armour again, her blonde hair wavering around her shoudlers revealing the top of her ears. She begins to walk to the armour. picking up bits and pieces. Posts: 1675 Nov 2 02 6:47 AM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	Soul Reaver curses as Stavarus recklessly leaps into combat, with no regard to those near him. Besides the danger he poses to the others, Soul Reaver is annoyed at Stavarus' reaction because he wishes to know why these hunters called them Daemon allies. Have they been mislead? Or if they are referring to their deal with Heartbane... how did they know? Soul Reaver, not wishing to get too close to Stavarus in case the furious warrior lashes out at him, sends him a telepathic message. Stavarus! Calm yourself! This is insane... we do not know why these men have attacked us or why they think we are allied with Daemons... and unless they tell us, we are not likely to find out. Stavarus hisses back vocally while fighting on, seeing as he has no way of sending a telepathic message back. "Why do I care?! They attacked us, they accused me of..... I will kill them!!" Soul Reaver realises that reasoning with Stavarus is unlikely to yield any results, he begins to move forward, perhaps to stop him bodily if he has to... and suddenly his surrounding pulse out of reality. A feeling of awful nausea comes over him as his awareness slips into the paralell world again. The threads are all around him now, weaving through the air thicker and tighter, drawing everything inexorably to its final terrible conclusion. He can see the bloated form of his foe in the distance, leering as it pulls the threads inwards... Soul Reaver, Stavarus, his companions, the bounty hunters... everything... Lurching back into the real world, Soul Reaver staggers backwards, holding his head. Will all our efforts prove to be for naught?!

When he recovers Kanshisha sends a psychic message to Soul Reaver. Hey! what just happened?! I just saw you drop like a rock. Are you alright? He seems concerned about Soul Reaver. He hen looks at Stavarus and sneers in frustration. Why don't we both team up an restrain him. If the Bounty Hunter wanst to continue, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. But Stavarus is acting a bit irrational. Forgive me if i seem rude. But he needs to be restrained before he kills the man.

Once the young woman continues to clean up the debri, Asaki finally comes to. Her ears twitch and she blinks, trying to register everything that's been said. She places a hand on her hip. "I'm sorry, did you just say that Kawanua...is your father?" She grabs onto the string from around her neck and twirls the golden feather tied to the end. does that mean that samantha was kawanua's... "Wow." The teenager smiles. "You're quite lucky to have found him. Parents are about the most important thing in life...that and a HUGE cheese pizza." She removes the string from around her neck and looks at it for a while, smiling at the beauty of the feather. She tightens a fist around the string then looks at Sera who is still busy with the clean up. "This was given to me by your father when we were battling an enemy. He said it should protect me. And, hey! I'm still standing," she grins big then smiles softly. "I've always felt that it was somewhat of a lucky charm...Here...," she holds out the necklace, "I want you to have it. I mean I know we don't know each other very well, but Kawanua's watched my back ever since we met. He's always been there for me." She puts the string over Sera's head and around her neck. "There. I dunno why, but I get the feeling I won't be needing it anymore. Heh, looks good on ya." She gives Sera a thumbs up then runs to the center of the room and looks up. "You know, I always wondered what a normal life was like. Being able to do normal stuff like hang around with friends your age, not because of a battle needing to be fought...but just for a good time out. Never afraid of what someone might think because of the way you look or what you do. Livin' it up and being a part of--of a band, or...," she pulls the photgraph out of her pocket, "...or a part of a family. Still...I've been everywhere. Seen everything." She extends a hand towards the ceiling. "In space, the stars were so close I could almost touch them." She closes her eyes and smiles, slowly lowering her arm. "Those guys in there, they're all my family." Her expression grows sadder. "All the family I got left. Guess that would make Stavarus the crazy uncle no one ever gabs about." She grips the photo a little harder before putting it back in her pocket. She turns to Sera and smiles. "So that makes you like family too." She puts her arms behind her head and stares back at the room where the others are fighting and sighs. She then lowers her arms and tightens her fists in eagerness. "I can't wait till we find that staff! Everything will be all cool, and I'll finally give Khora the thrashing he deserves!" She takes a saber from the ground, smiles and playfully comes at Kasei. Kasei: Hey! Oh yeah. The massive beast places Gulver on the ground then transforms into a scimitar. Asaki smiles and stands in a fencing position, narrowing her gaze at Kasei. Kasei: Two can play at that game. The duo begin to play at sword fighting. As the weapons clash, they create a shower of sparks. Kasei catches Asaki's saber, locking it, but the teenager merely laughs. "Ha! You'll have to do better than that, Kas'!" She withdraws the saber backwards so Kasei unexpectedely goes foward. Asaki leaps onto the scimitar and flips over it, landing gracefully behind it and jabbing it from behind. Kasei: Hey!! Why you...! The teenager laughs and continues to duel with Kasei. It comes down from above, striking over and over, trying to best the warrior, but she easily blocks all its attacks. Kasei: Alright, that's it! The scimitar zips towards the teenager incredibly fast. Asaki stands ready for the attack when suddenly a painful flash from within her mind attacks her. The threads are all around, weaving through the air, drawing everything in. The teenager's eyes widen in fear as she stands frozen in one place. Kasei yells in horror and barely manages to dodge to the side of Asaki's head, preventing an injury. It changes back into a fire rod. Kasei: Wha--! The saber falls and clatters on the ground as Asaki reaches up and grabs at her heart, trembling. Her eyes are glazed over and her breathing comes out fast and furious. The grotesque figure of their enemy comes closer, pulling the threads towards it... Asaki falls to her knees and clutches her head. Kasei: Asaki!! She tries to fight the images racing through her mind and her breathing comes out as strangled sobs as she wraps her arms tightly around herself, cold and trembling with...fear. Kasei: I'll get help! "...N...no..." The firerod stops in mid air and turns back towards Asaki. "They're...going away...it's ok.....," she pushes herself up from the floor and stands, somewhat shaky, "....I'm alright, see?" She wipes the sweat off her brow with the back of a gloved hand and looks back towards the room. *those were sensei's thoughts i saw, i'm sure of it. no! but that means...we're gonna be too late. i can't stay in this room. i might put sera in danger... "Please excuse me." She bows to Sera then dashes off towards the other room. Kasei: Eh--Asaki! "Stay with Sera and watch Gulver for me! I'll be back as soon as I can!" Kasei: No, wait!--hmph. The teenager races back into the room, worry, masked over her face. She rushes towards Damien as Stavarus continues his rage. "STOP!!" She slips between Damien and Stavarus, determined to break up their fight. She cries out as she gets sliced a few times by Stavarus's daggers, but holds her ground, nonetheless, waiting either for his temperament to cool down or for her own demise... \|With chaos as my guide, I walk the plains in search of a worthy battle....\|

Posts: 472 Nov 2 02 10:51 PM Alter-Ego Character More My Recent Posts	Kanshisha is jolted as he witnesses Asaki bolt inbetween Stavarus and Damien. A shock of worry flashes through him. "Asaki~~~!!!! Nani sun dai yo???!!!!", he yells out to Asaki. He horrifyingly witnesses her being scarred by STavru's onsluaght. It is evident that Stavarus is not aware of or does not care that Asaki is in the way. "YAMERO!!!!!", he roars as he dashes in, Grandiel unsheaths from his palm and he locks blades with Stavarus, the energy from Grandiel keeping the powerful hunter at bay. Sparks of energy bolt from the blades. "Take a good damn look at what you have done you jerk!!!! Look!!", he roared at Stavarus, his voice becoming slightly demonized. Still keeping Grandiel locked with Stavarus' daggers, he points with his free hand at Asaki. the Wounds from his daggers across her body. "I understand your anger... But you shall not hurt my friends...or the warp lord will not be your only enemy....", he growls at the Daemon Hunter. "NOW BACK OFF!!!!!", He roars again, his voice no longer normal as he thrusts him backwards with a poush from Grandiel, the dark, lengthy blade eminating with dark flames. "Asai-chan..daijobu ka?", he asks her, his voice returning to normal, yet he does not turn to face her. His blades still locked with Stavarus' his eyes begin to glow and the revert to normal coloring. "You must not act out of anger at a small insult .....Nothing will be proven if you do so. And nothing will be gained....Act rationally. We have two powerful enemies that we must seek....We cannot afford to recruit more...you above all know this.", he lectures to Stavarus in a calm, concerned tone of voice. ((OOC: back to work...))

Shooting a glance to him, Matthias whispered, "Threads... Khora? Oh dear...." Meanwhile, Damien was desperately trying to avoid the enraged Daemon Hunter's attack. "Hey! Take it easy! Someone could get hurt! LIKE ME!!! Stupid clause stating that we can't kill you guys! If it wasn't for that I would't have to hold bac- Hey! You almost took my head off with that swing!!! Watch it!" That was the moment Asaki stood between them, trying to break them up. Damien took this moment pause to shoot a mean look and flip off Starvus, taunting him, "Tooo bad this cute girl is here or I would have shown you that no one mess with the Immortal Damien Idginoh, the greatest Daemon Hunter in existence!!! You know what? Screw the contract, I'm not going to let you get away with you all making me look bad! Acrquius Meltriouns Removius Sealtma!!!" That was when Damien was smacked in the back of the head by his partner which had broken off combat with Tamrissia. "Damien, we have a problem. You didn't, by any chance, take a job by a man dressed in black with a skull for a face?" Damien blinked for a few secoind then grinned, "That's it! That was the detail I was forgetting! How did you know that?" With a loud graon, Matthias clasped his head with both hands, muttering, "Damien.... Damien.... That was Khora, the agent of the 'Warp Lord' we've been investiagating!" A few moment passed and Damien cocked his head in confusion, "Your point being? It's not like I judge people based on their apperance!" The loud smacking sound followed by the sound of Damien falling to the ground left very little to the imagination. Matthias turned around to face the companions and crounched to the ground, his head touching the floor. "I apologize for the idiocy of my partner." This prompted a loud -Harumph- from Damien. Undisturbed, Matthias continued, "It seems we all were decieved into believing that you were actually intending to commit a terrible act. You must be Tamrissia Rohanson and the rest is your court, correct? I wish to greatly apologize for our actions and for whatever injuries we may had caused. I deeply apologize and no words may convey the depth of-" "Jeez, keep on apologiing and all the ladies will think you're a pathetic loser." "Damien.. SHUT UP..... You're already in trouble, don't make it any worse." "Fine, do what you like.... Don't forget about the part where we offered an assload of money to do... you know..." "Shut Up." "Fine, I'll sit over here and quietly bleed to death....."

"Oh dera god....You look like smart guys..but...c'mon...ok, nevermind...", he said as he shook his head and took Grandiel away from the lock between itself and Stavarus' daggers. A "tch.." arose from Kanshisha's after a look of annoyance at Stavarus. Grandiel swiftly and graphically purged itself back into his arm and he walked away he approached Damien and offered his hand to help him up. "Sorry for..uhh...Spanking you....nice counter with the shot gun to the....umm... well you know..", he said to Damien as he kept his hand out in invitation to help him get up.
