Posts: 3771 Nov 8 02 8:42 AM Angel of Redemption God-General More My Recent Posts	Complete darkness, maybe. But shadows also dissapear at another time of day. High noon. Cameron grins in determination as he backs away, moving himself into a corner of the room, trying to keep a barrier up between him and the shadows as he works on another spell. He switches elements, and as he does so, his barrier falters for a few seconds, allowing one of the shadows to slip through. Cameron immedeately leaps out of the way and prepares to release his spell, sending a mental message to everyone. You all might want to cover your eyes. Cameron stops moving and screams out a word in a strange language, and suddenly a large glowing sphere appears in the center of the room. The sphere does nothing for a few seconds, and then suddenly it bursts to life, filling the room with a blinding white light that illuminates even the smallest corner of the room. Cameron drops to the ground seconds before this, laying flat and covering his eyes.

Seeing that his advice paid off, and the legos are destroyed, he lets his shield drop and gets up. Shadowcall is casted by Khora, and the shadows attack. Old trick... The voice in Kith's head states. Despite the burns on his body, Kith still dodges quite a few of the shadows. They rip through his cloak, tearing it to shreds. He focuses energy one of his fists, and it glows with a white light. As a couple shadows approach he swings at them. When he gets within a few inches of then the energy flares, then bends around the shadows, encasing them in light. The ball of energy then shrinks to nothing, leaving only air left. Clutch sends out a warning to close your eyes, and Kith heeds it. Kitharsis pulls the shreds of his cloak around his eyes and closes his them. The bright light flares through the chamber, hopefully getting rid of the shadows.

Just as Fei touches down from his kick, the sword already at it's intended target, Fei turns and glares at the others. "You're waisting your time with them! For Christ's sake! I thought you'd realize that he'll just keep making them if you don't attack him and keep focusing on his lackies!" At this time the flash goes off, practically blinding Fei and really pissing him off. Whispering to himself, his vision comes back into View quickly from a multicolored transition. "Be patient Fei... They're confused... They've all been through a lot." On the other side of Fei's mind, he talks to himself. "I swear sometimes they're sheeps in Wolves clothing...." Clenching his Fists, Fei remains prepared for anything that's happening, openning his right hand where his sword comes spinning back to it. "I just want to get the fuck out of here...." Meanwhile, a Cat waltzes across the floor towards Fei whistling a little upbeat tune, bebopping his tail. Fei's eyes go to the cat as he notices it. "It's you... what is it now?" "Cat whistles then does a West side story like beat with his paws on the floor, talking within those beats. Yo yo yo man.. I just want to...... give.... you..... COMPANY.... " Shaking his rear with the beat, the cat laughs hysterically. "what can I say? I'm a fan of musicals..." Suddenly, the Cat's head has a black blade stuck down in the middle of it's shadowy skull. "Hey... what's that for?!" The cat's head tugs away from the blade, pulling itself back together. Meanwhile, to everyone else, Fei appears to have gone insane as he seems to have attacked nothing and curses a few naughty expletives at it. Fei Serumen §¤§

Posts: 1675 Nov 9 02 5:20 AM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	The whirling golden blade hurled by Fei slices through the air, heading directly for Khora. The Necromancer watches it calmly as he raises his hand, and flicks his wrist. Immediatly, his Deflect spell knocks the missile out of the air with a metallic clang. Soul Reaver, receiving Tamrissa's message, is about to reply to try and dissuade her from her intended action, when he receives Clutchfiend's warning. As Clutchfiend prepares his spell, Soul Reaver brings his forearm across his eyes and runs blindly forward to escape the shadows. Stavarus responds similarly, by sqeezing his eyes tightly shut and backing away quickly, slashing the air in front of him with a dagger in a futile effort to fend off the shadows. A bright flash fills the room, strong enough to be visible as an orange glow even through Stavarus' tightly shut eyelids. Khora, not having been prepared for this, hisses loudly as the flash fills the room. He covers his face with his robe, though the flash has little effect on him - he has no eyes to blind. However, a shudder runs through him as the spell is temporarily disrupted. With the shadows gone, the lost souls have no place to manifest, and they are momentarily forced back into the world between worlds. When the glow fades, Soul Reaver opens his eyes again. Shadow returns to the room, and already some glowing red eyes are becoming visible as the lost souls seek their way back. Soul Reaver groans inwardly and is about to prepare for a further defence when the eyes begin to blink out one after another. The spell ends, Khora deciding to resort to other methods. The undead warriors summoned by Asaki earlier rush towards the companons as Khora chants further vile words. He fixes his gaze on Clutchfiend, and points towards him. A dull glow pulses over Khora for a moment, but then fades again. Clutchfiend feels nothing of the spell cast upon him at first... but then, he feels an irritation in his throat. He is forced to cough - and a small wisp of black, oily smoke gusts from his mouth. Soul Reaver sees this and curses inwardly... he knows this spell, having used it before on a few occassions. A Choke spell! Unless Clutchfiend can outlast it, I will have to try and Dispel it... but I fear that doing so against a Necromancer of Khora's stature will be anything but simple.. Khora cackles quietly, preparing his next spell... (ooc: Clutchfiend has been cursed with a Choke spell, which will cause his lungs to gradually fill with an asphyxiating black smoke. He'll quickly descend into helpless coughing spasms, and will not have long to live after that.)

Posts: 54 Nov 9 02 5:42 AM Alter-Ego Character More My Recent Posts	Sera Leaps to the ground placing her arms over her head. She can see the bright flash reflect off the polished floor. As the light fades her eye lids flicker as her eyes adjust to the normal light. She pushes off the ground back flipping gracefully back onto her feet. She glares at Khora as He murmurs more of his necromancer spells. her eyes follow Khora direction as he points to Clutchfiend. Her eyes widen as she sees the spell begin to work. A Choke spell! Oh no! Returning her gaze to Khora she tries to figure out what spell he is casting. " So Necromancer, You begin to show your power. " She leans back slightly moving into a battle stance raising her sword. " Lets see what else you can do " Rising her free hand above her. She murmers words of magic. Swinging her hand tot he ground she punches the ground rather fast. The area around Her cracks with energy. 2 Black shadowy sludge like creatures crack and sift into this reality. red lightning crawls around their bodies. their red tongues slip in and out of their invisible mouths. rising back to her battle stance she wavers her hands again in Khora's direction. the creatures cry and shriek, they begin to Charge at Khore extremely fast. Extremely hard to keep sight on them.

I better delete it then before I get flamed for trying to liven things up. -_- )) A faint smirk crosses Fei's lips as Khora reflects his sword. "Well, at least you're faster then I expected. But who didn't expect that..." A small motion of Fei's hand and the ground on his left and right break apart in small cracks. A black cold fluid bubbles up from the abyss summoned. 2 small puddles of blackness shift and twist into tenebrous replicas of Fei. Each one wielding the exact sword Fei holds. Moving his other hand, a small black ring forms below Khora. The outer edge of the ring becomes lined with small spikes before the shoot Up into the ceiling one after the other in almost an instant. By this time, Fei's aura has already flashed blue as well as his abyssmal doubles. With the a trail of afterimages, Fei and his replicas vanish leaving nothing behind them, their movements unpredictable as they stay moving. The ring of abyssmal spikes around Khora suddenly sprout out more spikes in a pinetree like pattern, sending more spikes in all directions inward and outward until they appear to be 1 large mesh of spikes. I should at least be able to hold out a little longer than normal. )) Cameron coughs again and stumbles backwards, pulling off his helmet. The implanted filters within him that usually allow him to breathe for a short period of time on planets with poisonus air are already kicking in, but it is clear that they won't last long. Fucking Khora! You just wait till I get oiut of this, you slime ball! Cameron stumbles into a wall and falls into a sitting position, coughing heavilly.

Jihon takes another step back.... "It... It... Can't be... Relk was right!!!!" Jihon runs up to Clutch and grabs him by the neck, with ease he lifts him off the ground.... "Where is Thisias! Posts: 1675 Nov 9 02 12:42 PM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	(ooc: Yes, I did take Clutch's augmentations into account. He'll be able to last longer than most would - but that's pretty much equalized by Khora's being a massively powerful Necromancer.) Khora seems to be about to respond to Sera's summoned minions when the cage of spikes appears around him. He glances at them for a second... The spikes jab inward in a tightening mesh of darkness. Thick qualms of black smoke waft from between the tiny cracks. "Not fast enough, Vampire..." The Discorporated Khora flows and slips from between the openings of the abyssal prison, his smoky form gently curling and twisting as his voice rings out... "Del heshan jal..." A crossbow bolt screams at the cloud of smoke, but it simply parts to let it pass through the middle. The bolt slams explosively into the wall behind the cloud, causing the cloud to be blown to shreds... but it re-forms almost immediately. "...devus in mainos!" Suddenly, Fei's mind is sent reeling, his senses blasted to Inferno. He is barely sure if the hands he has are his own, or someone elses. His mind is slipping, twisting, whirling, falling... a bickering multitude of voices screams and gibbers in his mind. It is impossible to tell where he is, who his, what he is... Soul Reaver however is not aware of the casting of the Confusion spell on Fei... he is at Clutchfiend's side, trying to help his old companion. He growls as Jihon pushes in, picking Clutchfiend up. Soul Reaver smacks the warrior's hands out of the way. Clutchfiend falls to his knees again. "Stop being a fool! In a few moments he will barely be able to breathe, let alone talk!" Soul Reaver closes his eyes and begins to chant a Dispel Magic spell... though he knows all too well what he will be getting himself into with this...

Jihon shouts drawing the pain Saber off of his back... His red cape sways as if being blown by an unfelt wind... "You must tell me...." Jihon's tone changes from that of anger and fear to that of concern.... "And did Clutch share a body with him... Or bond with him?" Jihon grips the sword even more... But this time it is different.... The blade lowers to the ground.... "This is all my fault...." Jihon makes a fist so tightly that his knuckles turn white as the blood is displaced.... <b> "I am the damned child... The legacy of shame... Yet... I fight... Soul Check your email )) Watching the battle occur, Kanshisha can only stand and watch. He is frozen. He can only wtach in awe and worry as the Necromcer begins to flex his skill of Necromancy. He watches the attacks against him have no effect. Like wind blowing against a stone wall. "...bakemono da....", he said as his fists, clenching both Grandiel and the Masamune tighten. He watches in horror as his comrade, Cameron is thrashed with the abnormality technique placed on him. He watches as The proud Antediluvian is targeted and launched upon by the confusion spell. And he watches as an unknown warrior, seemingly one that knows his comrade Thisias, lashes out in anger at the Space Marine. He then shoots a glare towards Khora as his horse laughter and cackling spreads throughout the room. He then looks at the collapsed Colletcor once more. At this sight, he shakes his head in shame. Duriel's figure appears behind him and puts his arm around Kanshisha's chest. " Magnificent, is it not? ", he asked Kanshisha. "I find none of this amussing. These are allies....not cattle...", Kanshisha coldly sparks to Duriel. He then pumps himself from behind Duriel's arm and slightly turns his head to him. "If i die... i die fighting.....i die defending my allies...", Kanshisha says to Duriel as he glares at the being crossing his arms and smiling at him. " You won't die, beloved boy...You'll just get your ass kicked..", Duriel spoke to Kanshisha tempting him to merge with him. Kanshisha turned his head 'round once more to look at Khora's location. "Temei ra......", he says under his breath as he tightens his grip even more on Grandiel and the Masamune. "Shini soku zai mi!!!!!", he roars as he leaps high into the air, a dark aura of one of the Omnigen's power levels envelopes him. With a slash of the two blades, several ground shattering shock-waves of psionic energy launches it's way towards Khora, tearing apart the ground in it's wake. Instantly after this attack, Kanshisha's essence Vanishes to reappear in an unknown location else where in the room. The psionic shockwaves build up in speed as they grow closer to the Necromancer. Just before it connects, Kanshisha reappears above Khora, both Grandiel and the Masamune charged with the Omnigen gift's dimensional energy. how much is unknown, But enough energy for a good first-hand melee attack would suffice. "YOU WILL PAY FOR THE SUFFERING YOU PLACED UPON MY COMRADES!!!!!!", he roars, his voice becoming more abnormal as his aura grows more in intensity. He comes thndering down in Khora's direction, ready to stirke the Necromancer with whatever he can dish out. ((OOC: ok, Soul. do whatever you like..ok?))

Fei laughs out, not realizing where he's at, and closing his eyes and focusing. Forming the exact mental picture of the chamber in his head, he figures out his approximate location. Stopping completely, he vanishes into the floor, the confuse spell holding his effect on him as he grits his teeth and takes it. Moments before, Khora obviously casting the Confuse spell didn't notice that the abyssmal duplicates didn't stop as Fei did. Meanwhile a Cat who plays in the middle of the floor continues to shake his booty with the West Side story. "Stay COOOOOOOL Boyeeeeeee...." His hands flow across the ground like he was playing with something. "what can I say? I have to give the boy some assistance.. this way he won't mind me ripping his buddy aparts..." The cat grins as the 2 abyssmal figures pass right by Khora blades coming across in a series of Impossibly fast speeds and swings. ((By all user error means... You better come up with something legitimate and not cheap to Pull Khora out of his current situation if you don't want him hit. Fei wouldn't stand around and let him chant a spell, that's for damn sure. And I know he wouldn't have time to chant 2 more considering Fei was knocking at his door as well as both of the Tenebrae . )) Fei Serumen §¤§

On a distand planet (Earth) a figure can be seen rising out of the earth. He is enormous, standing around 6'10", and wearing a mask on the right side of his face, and carrying a massive halberd on his back, he is dressed all in black (black shirt, black pants, black combat boats, and black trenchcoat). He looks around and sees nothing. All of a sudden, he releases a mighty roar (Antitribu Animalism) and all of a sudden animals from many miles away gaze up from what they are doing as they are possessed by a new business...a business to find someone. Once the figure has done this, he creates a warp gate. The hunt has begun. "It is a strange fate, that we should suffer such fear and doubt over so small a thing...such a little thing"

When it finally dies down again, she opens her eyes and slowly returns to her feet. She looks around at the other warriors, seeing if they were all right. She spots Cameron on the floor, dealing with the choke spell. Her eyes turn to where Khora stands. "Damn you Khora..." Yue forms another magic sphere in her palm, made up of the rest of the powerful energy she had stole from the Legionnaire and hurled it at the Necromancer. It shot quickly threw the air in a blur of yellowish-red towards Khora We are not living, but merely existing out of the fear of dying. ~Yue Kurine

Posts: 1675 Nov 10 02 4:57 AM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	(ooc: Yes, I know this is long, please bear with me... For everyone's your information, Khora is still discorporated. That'll make it pretty hard to hit him... though he can still be harmed with magical weapons and spells, should he fail to dodge. Fei, it would take really extreme effort for your character to remember anything at all at the moment... thinking straight is virtually impossible. Another important thing - Khora's spellcasting IS very fast, since he's pretty experienced with it. Also, if it wasn't, he wouldn't stand much of a chance against all of us. And for some reason nobody is reacting to the Undead champions...) Soul Reaver cannot hear Jihon speaking to him... he is already lost in his spellcasting. He can see the threads of Khora's magic woven into Clutchfiend, seeming to absorb light into its own darkness. Soul Reaver begins to carefully but forcefully tug at the threads below him... Meanwhile, Khora suddenly comes under attack from three of the companions at once. His smoky body seems to jerk and whirl madly at the series of attacks, trying to pull away from the deadly volleys. Yue's magical bolt streaks through the centre of the dark cloud, sending it spinning madly, as Fei's double slice around its edges, sending small gusts of black smoke into the air. Kanshisha's psionic wave hits with perhaps the most force, sending Kanshisha's finely-tuned mind temporarily reeling with internal agony as he pulls back to avoid the worst of Kanshisha's downwards slash. However, the attack does not last long, as Asaki's summoned undead champions hurl themselves upon Fei's replicas, weapons flashing. Kanshisha is caught in the middle of the melee as Khora's smoky form makes a hasty retreat. Cancelling his Discorporate spell, Khora reappears physically near the corner of the chamber. He seems somewhat the worse for wear - his robe has suffered numerous slices and his skeletal body seems to have lost several chips of bone. His eyes flaring red, he breathes three quick words of Necromancy. Another pulse of dark magic flows over his body... but the spell seems to have no other visible effect at the moment. Khora draws his dagger again, prepared to face the incoming companions...

After the attack on Khora, Kith notices that he is standing in the corner, battered up quite a bit. With the gem in one hand and the other in a glowing fist, Kitharsis leaps at Khora. In the air he points the gem at Khora, and braces himself for his next move. The gem glows bright green. Threads of energy crackle out from it as it charges for its attack. In a flash of brilliant green light, a huge amount of energy is released at Khora. The beam of energy, after hitting Khora, crashes through the wall, leaving a hole the size of a man. Kith then blindly lands with both feet pointed out to kick whats left of Khora.

However, everyone seemed to miss that, including me, so we've agreed that it only succeeded in destroying some of them... so, uh, yeah. Carry on. :P Kanshisha, I didn't get your e-mail. ) Khora is entirely enveloped in a beam of bright emerald energy from Kitharsis... by all rights and purposes, he should be dead... Yet when the beam disappears, he is still standing where he was, looking only mildly scorched, and not having moved an inch. He makes no move to block Kitharsis' downwards slice - the weapon slams into his skull at full force, only to be deflected in a shower of sparks. It is as if he had hit a solid wall. Pleased with his timely casting of the Stoneskin spell, Khora slashes his poisoned dagger quickly at Kitharsis' face, murmuring words of magic as he does so. Smoky tendrils of icy chill unwraps from Khora's body, enveloping Kitharsis. Upon touching him, they seem to freeze the very marrow of his bones - it is as if he were being embraced by a Wraith. Khora grins as his own damaged body regenerates, feeding off Kitharsis via the Strength Drain spell. The dark sorcerery saps Kitharsis' life-essence, draining both his physical strength and his mental determination...

He lifts his sword and points it at Khora.... "This is for you... Ass hole...." The tip of the sword begins to glow blue and electricity spins down it in a spiral of energy. The elctricity builds.... "I am going to stay to watch you die... Pathetic whelp..." Jihon smiles looking at Khora.... "Not even paying attension.... Figures..." Jihon's smile grows as the blue ball at the end of his blade grows with size and intensity.... "I haven't thought of a name for this one yet...." The ball gets a swirl of black around it as Jihon charges his aura.... "Bye bye asshole..." The blue ball fires off the end of the sword Creating a beam with black electricity shotting out from it... The ray envelopes Khora and shoots through the wall behind him... Everyone in the room can feel the intense heat from the blast, even some of the dust on the floor is set ablaze by the heat... The beam makes a high pitched shrill sound as it slices through the air.... The beam fades and Jihon stands watching to see how his enemy has fared.... "Your turn...." Jihon spits on the ground in front of him... The spit boils and quickly evaporates.... "Bitch...." <b> "I am the damned child... The legacy of shame... Yet... I fight... I will continue in my fathers footsteps... whether I am accepted or not..."</b>

Draining me quickly... Nothing to drain... Out of the corner of his eye, Kith sees Jihon shoot his energy beam directly at him. With a surge of what is left in his body, Kith shoots it all out of his legs, propelling him out of the way and spending the energy that Khora was greedily taking away from him. He lands in a heap in the opposite corner, no energy left in him at all.
