His jaw drops and his eyes widen. In a matter of seconds he regains his composure and settles down. Yes, it is intense, do not be overwhelmed. I am not, not anymore. I have just remembered that we have to do battle with this fiend, not gawk over his power. He is a pest after all... Once hearing his name he looks up. Placing a hand on the gem, he wonders if it is the 'runes' spoke of, because he doesn't have anything else on hit that possesses magical powers. With a shrug, he awaits Soul Reaver's decision.

As Soul Reaver gestures at all the Warp Gates, Jharm looks around and sees that there is even a Warp Gate leading into Heaven. "We must hurry, for if he is able to get in to Heaven, then no power anywhere can defeat him." As everyone lands on the Warp Lords domain, Jharm gazes around wth absolute horror. "This place is even worse then the deepest spot of Inferno." As everyone reaches the Warp Lords Citadel, Jharm hears his name mentioned for hiding the staff. "No, I doubt I would be able to hide the staff, I would not be surprised if the Warp Lord already senses my Divine Energy, especially in a place as evil and dark as this." "It is a strange fate, that we should suffer such fear and doubt over so small a thing...such a little thing"

A black robe covers his armour, the hood pulled over covering his face, creating a black wall where his face should be. " this was not a surprise. It is similar to Kawens domain. The add on this place has is that it sends a disturbing vibe to any who lay eyes on its deformed architecture. " Kawanua smirks as helooks down at Soul who struggles to keep himself together. " The Staff took a more toll than expected i see. " He turns his attention back to the Warp Lords citidal. Showing no emotion what so ever. " If the Warp Lord is expecting us, there is no point trying to sneak in. Hiding the staff on the other hand shouldn't be a problem. Many ways can hide power like that. I'm sure angels have been taught a special technique. " He stares at jharm as he finishes his sentence, chuckling slightly he looks at Soul reavers pouch. " The infinity pouch should prove useful.I have no idea if planes mark would work here, and dare not risk it. If i was able to then that would be a perfect way to hide the staff. hmpf. I guess the Choise is yours Soul. " The Fallen angel turns around and begins to venture back to where he was with Sera. Standing next to her he speaks to the frozen warrior quietly. She stands there absorbing what Kawanua says, but continues to Stare at the horrifying place that hovers infront of them. <<Kawanua>> My Heart belongs to one woman, and only she can cure the burden that i carry within me. A seductive, prowling voice rests against her right ear as the weightless shadow cat lays on her shoulder, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. "Do you expect Fei to do it for you? He's not even awake right now... I guess kinky spirit sex will do that to you eh?.. so guess who would have to do it for you?" The curious look is replaced by a humorous grin that only Alex could pull off. "up.. I know what you're thinking....." The Cat stops any chance of Tam talking at that inparticular moment. " [i]Why do I have to turn to Alex to hide the staff?[/i]..." Well the answer is... when Fei uses obtenebration, he actually summons the embodiment of the abyss into the physical plane. Without him... I don't come and visit. Think of him as a Doorway between mwa' and your physical plane. But since you're so closely linked to him... I could come through your body to the plane. Isn't it just one big happy clusterfuck?" The cat lets out a small chuckled purr as he leaps off Tam's shoulder forming into a puff of black and falling to the ground where he rematerializes. "Or... I could allow you to bend my legs as well... but why would I want to do that? Yes... you have the ability of obtenebration, but only through Fei... but I'm stronger then you... so I would have to let you.. and that's something I don't think I'm in the mood to do. But then again, tasting the sweet stench of souls is one of my favorite passtimes..." Curling around Tam's leg, the Cat looks up at her, his head joyful looking, grinning with Satisfaction that he knows he struck a nerve. "so what do you say? Are you going to open up and let me into the plane? You only have a choice in the matter. I was just informing you of the other way, but there's no chance in hell that's happening......" With a wink the Cat begins to waltz around on the floor surveying the area with a placid, amused look on his face. "Dum di dum di dum... I'm really the only one you can turn to... in order to hide the Staff at least. Where I'll put it nobody will know it even exists.... doesn't that sound promising? Oh yeah... I won't kill anyone either" With a roll of it's tail, the cat seems to begin walking away as if he's counting down for a response from Tamrissa. "Time's a tickin blondie.... "I have a small cloaking device that will make the Staff and it's bearer invisible. Of course, it will draw energy from me, so it will only hold up as long as I do........but I think I have enough energy to last for a while. And with this, the bearer can be anyone. Not just me." Cameron looks around at the others. "Of course, we could also try Kawanua's plan. It's your call, guys." ((OOC: And before you ask, no I didn't hear Alex. I completely ignored Fei's post as far as my character is concerned, and I am responding to the ones before it. ))

"Ok...last time i remember... i thought ot that.... Fuck it.....no one cares... i'll just shut up......", he thinks out loud as he crakcs his neck, glances at everyone, and walks down a hill for a few feet "Why is it that old people take the young one's ideas and claim them as their own? i never understood that....", he thinks outloud again. ((OOC: actually Kanshisha really did suggest that Soul use the Infinity Pouch on the 1st page of this thread ^_^;;..))

"Forget the shadows," she squeezes out briefly to the others. "Fei is not up to handling them at this point. We will have to find another way." She rolls her eyes back to look at the shadowy cat waltzing away. Stay in the shithole you call the Abyss, sweetie. There is no chance of you ever getting a free ride with me, she smiles to herself. As I have said a thousand times over, I never wanted you or your powers...and I don't need them. Her gaze goes to Cameron as he speaks, his words encouraging her to smile even wider inwardly.

They look like a bunch of brambling idiots. Do you not think that someone as powerful as a warp lord wouldn't be able to see right through a so called cloaking device? The fact that they even think it will work is enough said.... I've seen smarter ideas in hallucinations and hangovers. A fine group you have there... Definately not the sharpest knives in the drawer. Eventually, he nods at Kanshisha. "I think I agree with Kanshisha's idea to use my Infinity Pouch for this. While in the pouch, the Staff of Ashara will enter a self-contained sub-dimension in the pouch itself - it will basically disappear from this reality. As a result, there is no way the Warp Lord would be able to detect it. As for who should carry it..." Soul Reaver glances at Stavarus, who has been watching the discussion with narrowed eyes. "Seeing as Stavarus will be the one to wield the Staff, I suggest he carry it." Soul Reaver then speaks to Clutchfiend. "I feel a bit uncertain about using the cloaking device... if it works, it is by far the best choice available to us. But if the Warp Lord sees through it, it may only make him more suspicious and single out Stavarus as a target." Soul Reaver turns the idea over in his head a few more times. "I suppose if the Warp Lord sees Stavarus he will see him as a threat anyway. It probably will not worsen the situation if you try to cloak him. But we should all be prepared to protect him, just in case things go wrong." Soul Reaver slowly turns around, his cape whipping behind him in the hot wind as he looks down over the vast reaches of the bloody, thorn-studded landscape, and the citadel at its centre. "Kanshisha was right when he said that this is the Warp Lord's realm, and that he probably controls everything here. He can probably sense our intrusion. But I do not think he knows about Khora's defeat yet, and hopefully he does not realise we have found Stavarus and the Staff. Surprise can still be on our side." After another short pause, Soul Reaver asks for the Staff from Asaki... she hands it to him. Soul Reaver unties the Infinity Pouch from his belt, and opens the top. He then slides the Staff into the small pouch... it disappears into it despite being many times longer than the pouch appears deep. Soul Reaver then hands his Infinity Pouch to Stavarus. As he hands it over, he tells him, "To remove the Staff, simply reach into the pouch with your hand and will it to come to you. It will enter your hand immediately." Stavarus nods, a smirk on his face. "At last... I cannot wait to see the fear of the Warp Lord when I present his doom to him!" Soul Reaver thinks to himself, [i]Do not be overconfident, Stavarus... we have not won yet...[/i] Soul Reaver speaks to his companions again as they walk down along the path through the thorny tree trunks and buzzing insects, towards the Citadel. "When we encounter the Warp Lord, we must attack him with everything we have. He needs to be distracted from Stavarus long enough for Stavarus to use the Staff and end all this." Soul Reaver eventually slows down as the approach a crumbling bridge of rock over what appears to be an endless chasm that surrounds the writhing citadel. A few stones crumble off the side of the bridge and fall into the soundless depths as Soul Reaver cautious edges over it. However, despite is apprehension, he reaches the other side without incident. Stavarus follows behind with equal care. Soul Reaver now stands before the Citadel's warping walls. "How do we get in?" With more metallic creaking, a huge set of double doors forms in the wall. The hideous carvings upon look as if it they have been there forever... yet even now, the sinewy, dragon like forms upon it writhe slowly over the surface. Stavarus points at it. "We get in there." Soul Reaver swallows and turns around. "I wish to thank all of you for your aid in this. Our battle awaits within. May fortune smile upon us, and may the Gods guide us to victory."

When they reach the citadel, she has remembered where she is, eyes flinching away from the gore around her and the writhing figures on the doors. "I'm not sure if levitating over this structer would be wise.", he says to the remaining party, wondering if Soul can hear him on the other side as well. "Perhaps we should keep our gifts on reserve until we are provoked into a fight. I'm not sure how things work here... but i'm guessing that any display of foreign power would act as a beacon to the master of this place. And thus he can hone in on our location, messing up our surprise.", kanshisha hypothesises. "But.. i'm only guessing. I could be wrong...", he says as he continues forward. He has noticed that Duriel hasn't said anything to him for a while now. No taunting or teasing. No invitations of merging or desertion. Just ominous silence. He knows that Duriel is watching. And he knows that Duriel could enter and do as he desires. But still....no action.. "I wonder...", Kanshisha thought to himself.

[i]I just hope that doing that will not cost Asaki her life. I'll have to keep an eye on her.[/i] Soul Reaver speaks up at Asaki. "Asaki, if you wish to carry that decoy, please try not to be seen unless it is necessary to really divert the Warp Lord's attentions from Stavarus. If he does not realise we have the Staff at all, we will be at an advantage... and seeing that decoy too early may put him on guard." Soul Reaver then walks up to the door. "How do we open this? There is no handle..." Soul Reaver carefully moves his palms over the surface of the gates without touching them. To his surprise, the surface beneath his hands reacts to him movements, rippling slightly. Cautiously, Soul Reaver reaches towards the surface. The metal parts away from his hands, creating indentations in the gates... and then suddenly, the indentations close, swallowing Soul Reaver's hands in the metal. Soul Reaver feels a cold tingle in his hands, but no pain. Glancing back at the others in apprehension, he pushes at the door. To his relief, the metal now releases its grip on him and swings inwards with more metallic screeching. Beyond the doors is a massive hallway, heading into the uncertain blackness. The walls are so high that the ceiling disappears into darkness. Although no light-sources are visible, the air itself seems to glow slightly with a weak, reddish light. Stepping inside, Soul Reaver feels queasy. The inside of the citadel is also in costant motion, though it is very slow and not noticeable unless one watches for it. The groan of grinding stones can be heard echoing in the vast hallway. All the pillars and arches look off-centre, slanted slightly, jutting and curving out at odd angles. Soul Reaver looks at the strange red marble that paves the corridor... and pulls back in disgust. It is not marble at all. Writhing clouds of reddish fog slowly drift and swirl just beneath the surface of the rocks, as if fused into them. Agonised faces form in the smoke and dissolve once more, each one decaying before the eyes of anyone who can bring themselves to watch. "Cameron... if you are going to cloak Stavarus, now would be the best time to begin." Looking down the groaning corridor, Soul Reaver points into the dark distance. "I am certain the Warp Lord awaits us there."
