(ooc: thanks, Jihon.
thanks, Clutch, thanks Soul! If some of this is confusing, Asaki's story in the bb related topics explains about Kasei, etc., but not everything. I was gonna leave by monday, but it may take a little longer. Plus, I'm gonna have to assume that the ship has already left the planet at this point. Well, here goes...the beginning of the end.)
Asaki sighs as she wanders around the massive ship. Kasei hovers beside her. "So, where to now?"
The teenager shrugs. "I dunno. I always feel so confused after a battle. Like I don't feel that I can adjust to anything else."
"I know what you mean. Adjusting. It's still
confusing being stuck in this...form."
"Sorry about that."
"You did what you had to. Beggars can't be choosers."
"Someday, I'll find a way to get you back to normal. You'll see."
Kasei laughs. "Sure, kid. ...But to be quite honest, I kinda like being able to transform into all these neat things. Beats the crap outta being
Senshi when the shit hits the fan."
The two begin to laugh when suddenly a violent tremor vibrates the entire ship. Asaki grabs onto the wall with both hands to keep her balance. "What the hell was that!?"
Asaki takes off running towards the main control center with Kasei following closely behind her as the ship continues to tremble aggressively.
Once the teenager reaches the control room, she takes a look out of the ship to notice another massive ship firing at Jihon's. "Raise the hailing communication," Kasei calls out.
An image of a cyborg type of an extraterrestrial appears before a large monitor. It's voice echoes through the entire ship.
"We are the Sorean race from Nebrous.""Nebrous? The prison planet!" Kasei whispers to Asaki. "Who do you suppose they're after?"
"Excuse me." Asaki pushes past a few mechanics to get a good view of the monitor.
The attackers' leader continues to speak.
We have traveled very far to capture a serious and dangerous criminal. So dangerous, that we are willing to destroy your vessel, should you refuse to give up the offender. The one who we speak of is the space pirate Asaki Masako.""Shhhit." Asaki looks down at the floor before retreating out of the control room into an airlock containment unit.
"Great! Know everyone's gonna know your past rep!"
"
Our past rep, remember?" Asaki corrects Kasei as she reaches her hands behind her and under her shirt.
"What the hell are you doing?"
"I gotta get their attention. Flag 'em down."
"With a--ohhh my God..."
Asaki quickly tucks her shirt back into her jeans before fitting into a tight, black space suit hanging on the wall. She puts on a headset communicator, tucks the helmet under her arm as she begins to press several buttons on the wall.
"What are you doing?"
Asaki smiles as she puts on her helmet and turns to the fire rod. "I'd hang on if I were you."
"What!? Wait! Don't--!" The giant, metallic door opens, leading to the vastness of space. The fire rod transforms into a grappler and hangs onto a pole to avoid being sucked outside. "Asaaaki!!"
The teenager floats to the outside, grabs onto the side of Jihon's ship and begins to wave at the attacking ship. The airlock door closes behind her.
"Heeeey! Don't shoot! It's me!"
"What the hell?" One of the Soreans stares, baffled out their main window, at the teenager, signaling them with her bra.
They cease firing and tap into her communicator. The entire party aboard Jihon's ship can hear their conversation.
"You are Asaki Masako?""Yeah...that's me. I'll do whatever you want...just please, stop firing at this ship--it belongs--to a very good friend of mine. And there're innocent lives aboard."
"Since when does a space pirate care about innocent lives?"
Asaki gasps. "...Taro? Taro M-Masako?"
"Yes, it's me. I'm a little surprised you're not dead yet."
"...Disappointing news for ya there?"
"Indeed."
"Masako, we do not have time for your reunion."Taro nods. "Understood. Asaki! Maybe we can continue this discussion like civilized people within your craft."
"Yeah," Asaki hides her hand, making the bra disappear behind her back. "'Cept it's not my craft. What say you, J-man? Can I get back in with a few a' these guys? Even though I may not like one of 'em all too much..."
Kasei hovers within the control room, listening.
Asaki floats silently outside, waiting for Jihon's reply.
