"Good luck Asaki. I expected to see you along with the others once I was done, looks like things have changed. Stay safe, and if you ever need my help, just contact me and I will be there." Asaki closes her eyes and smiles as Kitharsis's words come into her mind.
She turns to look at Yue as she approaches and wishes her well. The teenager places her hand on the girl's shoulders. "When I can, I'll be back. Count on it."
Asaki turns to Tamrissa as she is the next one to speak. Forgive us and know that you will have the strength and aid of the Umbras whenever you call. Farewell, Asaki Masako, you will not be forgotten
perhaps we will all meet again some day.
The teenager bows. "There is nothing to forgive. I had a family with all of you while I was here. No one could've asked for more."
She then turns to Jharm as he approaches her. "I never really got to know you Asaki Masako, and that saddens me greatly. This cross will remind you, whenever the going gets tough, that God is with you, and that he will listen to anything you ever have to say to him."
The teenager smiles and gently wipes away the seraphim's tear with her hand. "Thanks," she clutches the chain. "I'll take good care of it."
She turns to face Fei and nods in his direction and thinks in her mind. *he always did know how to rile things up...it was fun...* She becomes a little more serious as Edgar apologizes. "Earth child... I am sorry for my rudeness... Perhaps on better terms we may have been friends... Once again I apoligize..."
"Perhaps. Just take care of my guys, okay." She smiles and winks. She then waves her hand in Tamrissa's direction as she apologizes again. "Ah, dun' worry about it."
She quietly walks up to Keseno. "Hey...listen. I know thing's've been a little touch and go between us lately and all--but I want you to know...that I never had a friend quite like you before," she raises her hand, "I'm not saying good bye...cause it'll feel like we're never gonna see each other again...so...." she takes the warrior's hand in hers and shakes it, "...hello. For the next time we meet."
The teenager walks back to the center of the room and becomes serious as Clutchfiend quietly advances towards her. She listens carefully to everything the warrior says and slightly smiles as he says they'll find Peterson if he still lives. "I know you will."
She extends her hand as Clutchfiend hands her his badge. "That's my officer's badge. If you ever find yourself stranded somewhere in Imperial Space, flash that, and someone will help you. Also...I guess it's something to remember me by," Asaki stares down at her hand, "It was cool fighting along side of you, Asaki. Good luck where ever you may go."
As the warrior begins to walk away, the teenager's eyes begin to tear. She swallows her pride and rushes the warrior, hugging him tightly before he leaves. She releases him, steps back and salutes him. "Thank you sir, for the opportunity and honor to fight alongside you!"
She sniffs and runs off towards the Sorean. She waves one last time. "Hey, don't get too comfortable! Cause if you guys ever get boring--," she raises a thumb towards them and winks, "--I'll be back!"
The Sorean begin to leave Jihon's ship, but Asaki pauses and looks up at the leader. "Hold on, one sec'."
The teenager runs back towards the crowd and takes Soul Reaver's hand. She places her brother's ring in his palm. "Here I don't think I need this anymore. I'm starting over." She closes his hand over the ring, puts her hand behind his head and kisses him. After a few seconds she tightly embraces the warrior. "If some wary kid comes along my way, I hope I can be as good a teacher, friend and partner as you were to me. Farewell."
She releases him as Kasei hovers up to her. "You ready?"
"...Yeah."
The teenager begins to walk towards the Sorean leader as it speaks up.
"Your ship is waiting outside.""You mean I get my own ship!?"
"Of course. It would not be wise for you to travel alongside Taro Masako. We Sorean are prone to quick headaches."
"Woo-hoo! In that case..." she shoves past the Sorean leader and races towards the exit, "Race ya! Last one to Nebrous is a rotten egg!"
The Sorean leader glances at the warriors with a sad look of self pity before sighing and trudging back towards it's ship.
Asaki clings to the front of her own ship, Kasei hovers beside her. "You okay?"
"You know, Kas,' It's true what they say. Parting is such sweet sorrow."
She hoists herself into the pilots seat as the door closes and removes her helmet. She places her hands on the controls and Kasei turns to look at her. "Uh...you do know how to fly this thing, right?"
"Sure," she pulls on a few switches and presses a couple of buttons. "It's just like riding a bike."
"Oh God, help us."
(right about here you'd here Asaki's theme.
) The sleek black ship darts off into the depths of space faster than the eye can see.
The end.
