As the two walk through the desert once again, Kitharsis overhears Jihon's call for everyone to come to the auditorium. When he left, he familiarized himself with the ships and Jihon's energy patterns.
He stops walking and rubs his chin with his hand, stumped as to what to do.
"Why did you stop?" The shaman asks.
"My friends, there seems to be something going on, something very important. What should I do?" Kitharsis asks, uncertain of himself.
"I suppose... that getting off of this planet and recollecting yourself might do you some good. But you are too weak yet to do any fighting."
The shaman thinks to himself, obviously not wanting Kitharsis to go.
"But you have at least the basic skills in most everything that I can show you. If you stay you will surely become a master of your powers and your body..."
And I still have to find out if he is going to stay good or not... If this meeting is about something important, he should not miss it..."Very well, follow me."
The two of them walk back to the cave and into the shamans room. He opens a chest, revealing many odd looking devices. After shuffling through a few of them, he finds what he is looking for and pulls it out.
"This is a warp generator. It will open a gate in front my cave. Once you find what the meeting is about, come back and we shall discus if you need to accompany them or not."
He hands the device to Kitharsis, who then stows it away in his cloak.
"You will need more than that shabby old cloak. Your skin may be hard, but you will still need some protection. You won't be able to wear anything on your arms and still use your power, so thats out. And something like a chestplate would get in the way of you wish to use all of your tattoos at once. So that leaves your legs."
The shaman walks over to another chest lying on the floor. Finding a rather large pair or armored boots, and some other type of leg armor, he pulls them out and tosses them over to Kitharsis. They fit perfectly, almost as if they were made for him.
"Ok, time for you to depart."
The shaman waves his hands in different patterns. Behind him a warp gate opens, the red energy swirling inside of it.
"Put up a warp shield."
Kitharsis goes through the process of gathering his energy, then spreading it out between his tattoos on his arms. Then he gradually lets it out, forcing it to merge together and curve underneath him to form a shield.
"I'm ready."
"Goodness, you really need to practice that." The shaman shakes his head. Stepping to the side, he allows Kitharsis to go through the warp gate.
"I should be back soon, thankyou for you help." Kitharsis gives thanks, then steps through the warp gate.
Meanwhile, in Jihon's ship, a red warp gate springs into life on the stage, not too far away from Jihon himself. After about 20 or 30 minutes, Kitharsis steps out with his glowing red warp shield still around him. Once he steps through the gate closes in on itself and vanishes. His shield slowly breaks apart and sinks back into his tattoos.
What he sees is drasticly different than the old Kitharsis. No longer is his skin scaly and green, but it is smoothe and grey. His eyes glow red as they glance over at him, and above them a shaggy mohawk hangs from his head. He is almost ten 8 feet tall, and his body is rippled with muscle. Odd tattoos snake around his arms, they faintly glow with a red hue. Odd leg guards hang from his waiste and two large metallic boots that cover his feet clank on the floor as he walks over to him. Also, a skeleton, just above a foot tall sits on his shoulder. Its blank stare circling around the room, apparenly investigating and studying everyone in the room. With a slight grin, Kitharsis walks over to Jihon, happy to see a familiar face.
"Greetings Jihon. You may not recognize me, but its Kitharsis. I overheard you calling for a meeting. I do hope this is important."
