"Yes, my blade can speak, but I would advise you not to listen to its words. It knows much, but its words are either poisonous lies gilded with gold, or truths coated in venom. Its makers are great heroes indeed, but the blade itself is treacherous and must be watched. I am glad to see it has not fallen into the wrong hands." With that, Soul Reaver follows Jihon into the glyph, sinking into the sand after him. He appears in the Matri Vihar village, looking approvingly at the goings on. They indeed appear to be a peaceful and learned group at first glance. I hope they remain that way.

Posts: 0 Mar 14 03 3:07 PM More My Recent Posts	Zera wraps her coat around herself and steps back behind a pillar of abstract metal sculpture as she spots a familiar face. She lowers her head, the brim of her hat hiding most of her face and shadowing the rest. The demon blade wielder...I assume that means he is here? she lilts into Thisias' mind, adding a small laugh. When she looks up again, she stares out of dark brown eyes and an innocent prettyish face. Her black hair frizzs into curls, still reaching the same length as her true locks. The hat abruptly melts down over it, forming a veil of ivory silk with yellow glass beads hanging and tinkling at her forehead. Her long trenchcoat becomes a simple long-sleeved robe of saffron hue, belted at the waist by an elaborate weaving of multiple colors of twine . A small ring of gold pierces the right side of her nose and quite a few more line both earlobes. Putting on the sweetest of smiles, she steps back out into plain sight. Her fingers strum a small lyre as she watches the oncoming group, prepared to follow them when they pass by. She might only seem a musician looking for a few handouts or an audience... The demon blade wielder...and three or four others...I have not seen many of them before. Has he brought guards for himself or warriors to confront you?

So much earlyer than I ever would have expected... Do what ever you can to keep them from going any deeper into the city... I have to meditate... Then we will see how things go..." Thisias keeps walking up the poorly lit stair case.... "They know I am here...." <b> "I am the damned child... The legacy of shame... Yet... I fight... I will continue in my fathers footsteps... whether I am accepted or not..."</b>

The blade's hollow voice hisses in Soul Reaver's mind with an exagerrated tone of worry. It is good to see you once more, Master. It would have been a shame to break up such a fine partnership so soon. Soul Reaver says nothing as he sheathes the blade in its scabbard. "Where shall we begin, Jihon? I suspect you know this place better than we do, and would be more likely to know where to start looking."

The ninja picked up the old pistol, checking it's components before placing it back where it was originally. Slowly, as Shiro's body relaxed and the trenchcoat closed around him, his shadow crawled back up his body, letting the weapons he'd stored earlier bleed back to whence they came. "So, lead the way oh masked one." Shiro said, poking fun at Jihon.

It wasnt long after Kitharsis teleported through the glyph that she followed in suit and quickly scooped up her guns from the stone pillar that stood to greet her. Although both of her weapons appeared to be unscathed, the fact that someone had indeed laid hands on her Heckler & Koch had not evaded her senses. At this she smirked In this time and age, they must seem like old relicsmust be hard for anyone to keep their hands off of this hot little number. Florentina chuckled quietly and allowed herself to take in the steel metropolis shed found herself in. There were large iron structures that were all around her along with the hustle and bustle of the locals and the music of a nearby musician. As the young woman played on Florentina stopped to watch her play the unusual instrument she held in her grasp from afar.

"You wish a song, madam?" she speaks in a light accented voice, fingers moving with ease over the strings in accompaniment to her words. "Perhaps a guide? What do you search for among the Matri Vihar?" Her dark eyes scan the rest of the group, tilting her head curiously at the variety. "Are you searching for someone?" she puts a tinge of knowing in her voice, trying to keep their attention.

The deep pools of his eyes reflect her own anger and stubborness, though with more grace and charm to his expression as he states calmy... "You know it cannot happen." "I know you can make it happen and you need me more than I need you," she fires back, then looks to Damien and Matthias. "Hello there! You are very slow in deciding whether you wish to take my offer and Fei has already taken care of Gulver!" Her eyes glance at the frustrated sidhe and then she is leaving go of Fei's helping arms and stepping a few steps towards them. She gestures to Matthias with his hands over his ears. "What is he doing?" she questions with a small raise of one brow. Willem uncrosses his arms and turns away from the group, broodingly thinking about the situation at hand.

About our decision... It sound nice and all, but we're getting the feeling you aren't telling us everything that we need to know about the job." Quickly moving both hands and frantcially shaking them, eyes wide, he added quickly, "It's not like Matthias read your mind or anything! It's just an hunch." Matthias simply groaned partly in irriation and in pain. Damien began talking again, "As for him, well.... you see when you die, there tend to be some kind of small trace of your soul left behind. Sometime, that trace can take a form or be picked up. It might be where the stories of ghosts come from. Anyways, in extreme cases, where there is a great cataclysm like here, there's a large amount of emotions lingering around. My partner is simply picking up those emotion but it's weird.... He said there was a large amount of hatred which is starting to make a kind of pyshic scar in this place. The only way that could happen is if it was the combined wrath of a dead race was dredged up and put in here but this one was produced by a single indivual. That kind of hatred simply can't be contained in one person. Did this hatred have anything to do with this Gulver?"

However, his eyes narrow ever so slightly when he looks at her. Strange... her spirit energy is somehow... familiar. But I cannot recognize it. It is as if it were being disguised somehow... Unable to place her identity, Soul Reaver politely takes a step away, waiting for Jihon to decide if they will follow this guide or not.

She shrugs and sighs, changing the subject. "As for the job offer," she brings her hands up to perch on her hips. "It has changed slightly. I am in need of a few more pairs of eyes and intelligent minds, preferably with some brawn and skill behind them as well. You two seem to fit the profile...not to mention, being the only ones around here, other than Fei, who I would come close to trusting with my life. Money is sometimes thicker than blood, friendship or history." Her eyes give a frosty glare towards Willem and then turn back to the bounty hunters. "I'm sure it is not your normal type of offer, but I'll try to pay you in whatever way you wish. Just name the price." She tilts her head a bit and she waits.
