Seeing no enemy, he rushes to his side, beside Kawanua. His senses turned into overdrive, he looks down at Stryder. "I have no idea what that was, but water will not be enough to heal it..." Soul Reaver raises his hands in preparation of casting a healing spell. "I hate doing this..." His brows coming together with the effort of shaping his mana into healing energies, Soul Reaver begins to use his magic to cautiously probe Stryder's mysterious wound... preparing to heal the tissue if it is an ordinary injury... and to combat any foul magic if the wound is supernatural...

Stryder's back arches and his eyes snap open. They are glowing red.... and seem to be prjecting something outward onto the ceiling... It is an image of Jihon's ship in many peices floating in what appears to be a large spere of energy. Flashes are seen inside the sphere, and energy balls fly here and there. It is clear there is a fight... <b> "I am the damned child... The legacy of shame... Yet... I fight... I will continue in my fathers footsteps... whether I am accepted or not..."</b>

She wraps one of her arms around Seras waist and allows her to use Yue to lean against for support. Yue watches as some of the group start to help this Stryder move in. And suddenly we become movers She says to herself and smirks. Giving a quick glance down at Sera, her expression fades to a more concerned look, she was unsure of what to say to her. Hey Its alright, cheer up. Yue says in a soft voice, attempting to make conversation. Just than, Stryder suddenly doubles over and she hears some commotion. Yue lifts her head and stares up at all of them surrounding him. Confused and curious, Yue follows into the small house We are not living, but merely existing out of the fear of dying. ~Yue Kurine

Posts: 1675 May 9 03 2:02 AM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	Soul Reaver watches the image above him wordlessly. However, after Kawanua speaks, Soul Reaver looks over his shoulder, his eyebrows coming together in anger, his eyes sparkling a dull red. With unusual harshness, he snarls at Kawanua, "I am not done yet!" As if realizing what he has said, he closes his eyes, and breathes deeply, his hands still suffused with a whitish glow. "Forgive me. I have been feeling... exhausted as of late." Soul Reaver returns to concentrating on his spell, a slight pang of guilt hanging over him. The wounds obviously are not of any ordinary cause - the image Stryder was projecting proves that some other agency is acting through him. However, even if it subsides on its own, I still have to prevent him from dying from his wounds... Soul Reaver concentrates even more, beads of sweat forming on his brow as he pushes his healing energies to enter deeper into Stryder's being. He prepares to combat any dark or harmful magics that might be affecting the masked victim before him, while he works to restore the tissue in Stryder's body... (ooc: Jihon, I don't know the full extent and cause of Stryder's injuries, so I'll need you to give me an idea of how well this healing attempt is working. Some God-modding is allowed here if it'll make things easier for you.)

The alliance must be made in order to fend back the darkness...", he said in acknowledgement as he stands. "I'll contact her. But i'm not going to guarantee that she will listen to me..", he says to Rhiyou as he stands and walks into another large chamber to change into his clothes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Minutes later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Danyael exits the chamber, wearing his traditional uniform. Although the Imperial garments were elaborate, they were quite comfortable and adaptative. His long, flowing trenchcoat ((ooc: see picture in introductions thread)) was open instead of closed, letting the collar spread out around the sides of his face. As he walked, it appaered as if the coat was in synchronisation with him. "Let's get to it, Lord Kartzeh.", he formally says to Rhiyou.

Seconds later, reality shifts away into a blurr as they vanish from the room. Within mere moments, they reappaeared in a large, golden crystal room, filled with towering pillars and stalagties in the ceiling. In the center of the room was a circular pool of prestine waters, swriling in a whirlpool. The waters of the pool are so clear that the golden crystal bottom can be seen in every detail. The pool is approximately 50 yards in length and width, and 4.5 feet in depth. (ooc: going to need to take over your character for this post. I hope that's alright with you, Tenn.) "Come..", he says to Danyael as he steps into the large pool As he watches Danyael walk in a wall of water rsies around them within the pool as it whirls around them like tornado. The two are now found in another realm. a vast realm of bizzare appearances. thousands of floating islands of gold and crystal. Whale-like creatures that fend thourgh the sky as easily as through the sea. Broken ivory pillars that are suspended in time. lost souls that linger about them and even shambled castles of malachite all sime to float about this realm in an elusive manner. all the while, Rhiyou and Danyael, afloat amongst the bizzre chaos seem to be covered by a globe-like barrier. "Now, my friend..We must find her..", Rhiyou says to Danyael. (ooc: Alright, Tamrissa. Tenn told me about the conversation that you had with him about his character speaking with you. SO i thought that this would be a good start off. So i guess after Tenn posts, we'll wait for your character to go to sleep. I hope that's alright.)

Kawanua stands up and walks out side of the house. He remains quiet and motionless. " What is it Otaken? " Otaken:: " I see you already knew i was coming " As Otaken speaks he walks out from a shadow on the house. People back away in fear as Otaken walks forward. Otaken:: " They have left Everworld Shall I bring the people back? " " Yes. They must be anxious to get back " Otaken:: " Indeed. We will begin repairs on the land and palace. How is Lady Sera and Yue... And Master Kanshisha. " " Sera is traumatized. Yue is fine. Strong as ever....Kanshisha...hates me and would rather me dead so I have no idea where or how he is. " Otaken:: " I see..... Well He can take care of himself. Pity your training was short. " " He wasn't really training. He was just letting out fustrastion and anger on me. I've also figured that Sera knew Kanshisha a long time ago. I'm pretty surprised. " Otaken:: " Do you know the whole picture with those two? " " No, I barely have had any time to even talk to my daughter in peace. I've barely had time to even have some peace and rest myself. I Have not slept for weeks.s its pure adrenaline and arage that is fueling me now. " Otaken:: " I under stand.. Well I must be off, The citizens await the councils return. I will return with news shortly milord. " Otaken bows slowly then fades back into the shadow he came out of to begin with. Kawanua sits down on the stoop and sighs. he closes his eyes and listens to the sounds around him. Kids playing and laughing, cars driving past, people chatting like their lifes are perfect and with no threat at all. " Why me...You say it was a gift God. This is more of a curse than a gift. So i'll just post for Duriel )) ~~~~~~Somewhere unknown to time and Space~~~~~~~~~ Duriel sits atop his towering throne. His legs crossed and arms on both sides of his throne. He keeps vigil on a hovering black sphere . The Sphere appears to be just as large as he is. Within the sphere , he can see a spark of white light as it flickers and fluxes around it its crystal prison. With a wave of the hand, the sphere shatters and covers the vast, elaborate throne room. In the envelopment, the throne room has now become a map of the multiverses from which Duriel can see all within it. A firey circle appear on an area of the 4th dimensional map. The circe enlarges until he can see Soul Reaver and his comrades in a house. "Oh dear..That looks boring......Next...", he says as he waves his hand once more and the visual of Soul reaver and comrades minimizes. Another circle appear on a far end of the map and enlarges to show tamrissa and her allies. "..mmm....Interesting...I wonder if she can make offspring...", he thought outloud. He then took a look at the impending chaos that was caused by the mercenaries, Damien and Matthias. "...hehehehe.. i like those two....", he said in a slight chuckle as he watched the motley duo fight off their enemies. he then took a look at Fei whom seemed more docile than before. "..Oh my...he's not talking..Now there's a miracle from God...", he said with a slight, diabolical giggle. That image soon minimized and another circle appear on an even farther end of the map. Once enlarged, an image of the decimated Everworld was in view. Duriel looked upon this image with a wry smile as he leaned his right cheek against his palm. "Now that was fun. Must do it again sometime.", he says with a bit of amusment in reminder to what he and the other Gate lords hdd done to the planet. "Hmmm..that reminds me...", he says in reminder to hiself. He stands from his throne and begins to hover in the center of the map. Obviously since the map was a dimension in itself, he could clearly see all around him. A psychic message is sent to Rhiyou. "I know you can hear me little Vampire.... Know this.. the time of rebirth is coming. and neither you.. nor your ancients and vampire bretheren can halt it... Not even Xavier's Kinjite Swordsmen can hold this back.....all you and your Comrades can now do is sit and await your execution...", he warns to Rhiyou as his message then goes mute in the vampire's mind. With this said, The dimensional map emplodes back into the black sphere and Duriel sits back down in his towering throne.

The magic does not seem to heal him, but instead his body seems to absorb it for some other purpose... His body changes... Twisting and turning as if something is growing within him. His figertips begin to bleed as large talon like appendeges sprout from the ends of each on. His jaw lowers and stretches completelyblasting the mask off his face. The mask lands on the floor and turns red hot melting the carpet beneith it. It them melts into a bubling pile of what appears to be the remnants of some living being. His body grows and twists untill he can no longer be contained by the couch. One of his taloned hands flies up against the wall in an attempt to ease the pain. Suddenly he shrinks again.... Appearing as two beings in one. He sits up, now completely naked... And speaks with two voices magically intertwined. "Thank god..." He sits up and looks at soul. A large scar forming on the left side of his face. Apparently left there by a sword. "I just saved the world... I see you made it to here ok Soul... Sorry for the entrance, but Balok was trying to come through the spirit plane... Thankfully I stopped him and took his place. I've been trying to get through for quite some time." Styhon looks down at his naked figure... "Leave it to me to end up naked..." He picks up two couch cousions and places them on either side of his naked figure. He jogs into a back room and soon emmerges fully clothed. He rubs his face. "Wow... The both of us needed out of that damn thing!" "It is not the fear of death that drives us.... It is the fear of eternal life...."

Fei....calm down. Apparently, Kanshi had permission from Tamrissa to do this. Now, we don't know this, because once again, Tam has failed to post. I think we should probably wait for her to post, which will hopefully be as soon as she reads this, and then we can get this whole issue resolved. Any OOC posts made regarding this issue before Tamrissa posts again will be deleted. This argument needs to end. Everyone....if you are a Battle Host, or you're running a side quest, please, PLEASE, PLEASE try to make a point of posting at least once a day. If for some reason you can't post a plot-related post, then at least post an OOC stating that you won't be able to post. This is currently the number one cause of the board's current slump. If we keep stalling the plot like this, we'll never get anywhere. Also, if you are a Battle Host/Side Quest Host, and one of the characters involved in your campaign fails to post two days in a row, god mod him. No more pauses. Let's keep this moving, or everyone's going to lose interest and leave. Including me. ))

Soul Reaver is prepared to kill whatever is forming within Stryder when he suddenly hears Jihon's voice emerging from Stryder's lips. Soul Reaver's hand relaxes slightly, but does not leave his sword quite yet. "Are you are really Jihon? And Balok is defeated? And... Stryder is unhurt within his body?"

My body is there still fighting, and soon, this half of my soul will return to that body" Stryhon sits down in a chair to the back side of the room. "I came here to warn you Stay as far away from the warp tumor as you can. My very existence there gave Balok the power he needs to break through the seal of the tumor It is a very strong bond But I managed to break through it, and he is much stronger than I am." Stryhon smells the air. "I am sooo hungry Anyone up for some take out?" Stryhon stands and walks to the window. His eyes watch cars as the drive by. "Stay away for at least a year I can hold him off that long. I know it sounds insane, but I am a Bed. Bed blood flows in my veins, and as long as Balok lives, the mask lives And as long as the mask lives, I live No matter what. Right now Tukedo and Edgar are on Planet Condemmon. They will contacyou when the time comes." Stryhon turns back to Soul. "You will find trust in a place quite untrustworthy." He smiles. "I know I will see you again. I will contact you when the time is ripe." Stryhon turns to his wife. "I love you" She is still quite baffled with the whole situation. Lisette: I I Guess I should be used to all this by now. She smiles. Lisette: You be careful Give em hell! She winks and the gives her husband a long loving kiss. Stryhon: Good bye. Suddenly Stryhon goes limp and falls to the floor. His body changes back into that of Stryder, only without the mask He stands. "Who wants takeout?" "It is not the fear of death that drives us.... It is the fear of eternal life...."
