As Danyael and Gale continue to walk, He spots Kawanua float away with Yue and Sera. Off to look for someone, no doubt. Gale stops by a conrete cube, leaning against it, taking a good look at Danyael.
Gale::"Are you really the One?"
Danyael:: "Well that's a stratight to the point question, isn't it?"
Gale::"My apologies. I just want to know if what the Maesters have told me is true."
Danyael::"Maesters?"
Gale::"The council of the Kinjite."
Danyael:: "What did they say?"
Gale:: "That a Nephilim will arise to claim the final throne of the Imperium. To aid in the defense of the multiverses."
Danyael::"Not much i can say to that, Gale. Because i have no idea."
Gale::"I understand."
Danyael::"I've only been recently introduced to this......lineage.. So i can't really tell a final answer."
A small bristle of wind gusts by as it catches Danyael and Gale's attention. The water around them begins to turn in a light swirl as the pebbles begin to move in synchronization to it's flow. A tall, hooded man fades into sight. His shoulders are covered by an armored plating and his body armor is that of everworld alloy.
"Hello Otaken..", Danyael says with a slight smirk as he crosses his arms, then leans against the structure, next to Gale.
"Hello, Master Kanshisha..", he says to Danyael as he pulls back his hood, showing his olive skin and long hair.
((ooc: i'm assuming that Otaken has hair..))
Danyael::"So, how are you?"
Otaken::"Well. Thank you."
Danyael::"So, what's up?"
Otaken::"I see that you and Master Kawanua have not gotten off to a good start."
His voice had a slightly playful tone to it, as he tries to lighten Danyael's mood.
Danyael::"Yeah.."
Otaken::"Have you spoken to Lady Sera?"
Danyael::"No. Kawanua drew his sword before i got the chance. He struck the first move. Not me."
Otaken::"Yes, well... His courage makes up for his irrational behavior, lad. You should know that by now."
Danyael::"I do. and as you can see, i don't tolerate that very well."
Otaken::"Good point.."
Danyael::"So what's up? Any reason to grace us with your presence?"
Otaken::" Yes, milord. As you know, The War is coming. History is about to repeat itself once again. And this time, the outcome will be very alternate indeed.You must build the alliance with Kawanua. I'm sure that your vampire comrade will speak to the Queen Tamrissa. Whatever hatred you have for Kawanua and Shenba, you must throw off."
Danyael::"Yeah. I guess you're right. Like always..."
Otaken::"I have looked after you since your mother brought you to me. And i know that you are more mature than this."
Danyael::"Yeah...I'll go talk to him..."
Otaken::"That's a good lad. I know you will make him listen somehow."
Danyael::"Right.."
With their conversation ended, Otaken vanishes away just as fast as he appeared. Danyael looks at gale and gestures politely for him to follow.
The two begin to Levitate and then fly off in the direction of Kawanua.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~elsewhere~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Oh please...Let's try that with feeling, eh?", Duriel says as he crosses his arms, letting the ground beneath him twist and warp around his essence.
The group of mages circle around him in a hypnotic, rotative fashion as they begin to empower their weapons. Yet, Duriel merely smirks at their attempts to slay him.
"And what do you hope to accomplish by killing me, hmmm?", his tone is now more playful. It is completely obvious that he is not taking the Mages seriously.
"Ofcourse, that is, if you can kill me.."
Enraged, one of the Mages dashes towards Duriel. His body movements are crisp and accurate as he attacks duriel with his sword. His movements can barefly be seen due to his eminse speed. Yet, all is for not. Duriel effortlessly dodges the movements of the mage with even more fluid and elegant movements.
The more violent the Mage becomes, the more blurred and unseen Duriel becomes. Soon, it appears as if the mage is fighting just the air, as movements on the gorund are the only proof that Duriel is still there.
Suddenly, the Mage's attack is halted as a slender hand pierces through his chest, tearing the very life force from his body. As the essence is drained from the mage, his body becomes ash and Duriel throws it into the wind.
"Oh dear. Poor kid. Bored me to tears.", Duriel taunted to the remaining mages.
Before they could take any action, Duriel's aura flared to life, enveloping their lands with them along with it in a dome of swirling flames of silver and gold. Amongst the raging chaos of his attack, Duriel's voice can be heard saying a single word.
"Boom."
the dome increases in size and density as it begins to envelop the continent that th emages called their home. And in mere moments, the continent was no more.
Duriel's form hovered above the ruins with a look of satisfaction in his face. His enormous wings, spread out for long distances, remained unfolded as the glistened in reflection of the moons above him.
He opens his hand, revealing a white glyph imbedded in his skin.
"One glyph down. Two more to go."
