Danyael looks down at Tamrissa as she informs him of her current state of conscience.
"Well now. Let's answer those questions, shall we? Firstly. If you are a guardian, out of simple fact...then why are you addressed as Queen? Surely there can't be a mix up or you would ahve corrected all that call you that. And you and i both know that more than just i have called you by that title>", he informs to her, being precise, yet giving her foggy clues on who he really was.
A voice echoes around the air of the realm. Although its tones were moderate, the words were accurate.
"Hmmm..... Fei Serumen.. The ancient one. The Antediluvian. Also the Emperor of the Umbra. or so you have said in the past.."
The waters that surround the garden begin to sway in lackluster motions. Dreary and devoid of any comforting currents. With the threads of current waving upon each other, the water repeats words that Tamrissa may find all too familiar.
"He is the true Emperor of the Upper!"
Danyael cocked his head in sarcasm as he looked on at Tamrissa.
The waters begin the same lifeless motions as it regurgitates more words of the past.
I love him as my ruler and my friend,
"Neither I nor you could take the place of his power or his wisdom!
"Are you not capable of making a decision for youself, milady? Or must you entrust your judgement to him? I say this not to challenge you. Just to question your conscience.
Your friend, Serumen lets his ego choose for him rather than his mind. A man, or vampire that is driven by his strength and not his heart is no more powerful than a house cat.
A ruler does not have to be powerful, milady. Not even God-like... A ruler must be sensitive to the ones that they rule.. willing to sacrifice all for their benefit. And willing to make sure that there will not be sacrifices in the first place. A good ruler must throw themselves into the fray to protect more than just their realm. More than just their sphere of influence...they must tackle the lonely paths before them so that they may grow stronger for their people.
One cannot be driven by sheer strength. They cannot be driven by the fact that they are powerful. And they cannot assume that they are mightier. I have seen no such action from your friend. All i saw was the spinning ego of a being whom was been blinded by their own power. And thus, they drink of it often when they are challenged.
In order to make as many decisions as possible, one cannot allow the smaller, more petty influences blind their path. One cannot always resort to violence alone to solve their issues.
it appears that he resorts to violence quite often when challenged. Tell me. Is that? Or is that not an element of leadership? Hence coming to my next conclusion.
I requested an audience of you, not because of your status. not because of your influence, and not because of your...charming approach methods to solutions..
I requested an audience with you because above many others, while i traveled with you, i saw how capable you were of diplomacy. i saw how little you depended on others, yet you knoew when help should be asked for. And i saw that you, like many others, were trustworthy towards your companions, instead of dashing into the fray.
hence my next point.. You were not summoned to make a final decision for the entire Umbra. No...not at all..
I wanted to speak to you because you know when help is offered. and you know when the benefit has no strings attached. You also seem to be more clear in your heart than you are in your sword.."
Despite Danyael's long speech, he knew that tamrissa still did not know who he was. And it may even become frustrating for her if he continued it much further without telling her.
Danyael walks closer to Tamrissa, arms outstretched and eyes focused solely on hers.
"You really want to know the reason for the alliance?
Do you think yourself prepared to live with the horros you will see?"
Just as he halts his approach, only an inch is left between him and her.
"Then i shall show you what has haunted me since i became Emperor of House Xavier....i shall show you thecalm before the storm...."
instantly after Danyael finished his warning to Tamrissa, his hand jolted upward, clasping itself to her forhead. Before any further motion can be made, all time seemed to stop as everything faded to black.
((ooc: apologies for the god-mod. i'll change it if it doesn't sound fair ^_^; )
Tamrissa and Danyael find themselves alone amongst a charred black iron floor. They wer at the top of a very large cilindrical toware, built of black crystal and iron. The skies are black with brimstone as the gold and silver thunder begins to flash its long forms across the skies. Rivers of blood flow endlessly through the crevices of the canyons of the wasteland. Crimson beasts larger than any demon, run with blitzkireg speed as they roam the wasteland hunting their unfortunate prey.
Danyael tunrs Tamrissa around and points at the horros at which she was about to see.
"Your future awaits you, milady."
Before Tamrissa was a valley blood. Kilometer-high mountains of various corpses seem to go on forever. The endless number of corpse filled mountains seem to grow as bodies fall from the blackened clouds above. Around the tower they stoop atop, was a moat of arch angels, crucified upon crosses of wraithbone and steel. The cries of mercy and agony fill Tamrissa's mind with relentless pain.
Danyael secured her by her waiste and gestured for her to look onward further.
"There's more....."
With a roll of ground quaking thunder, the clouds before them parted away in unison, showing many shattered planets and moons. Multiple portals and spherical gateways lay in suspended animation, tattered and ablaze with demonic forces.
"Everything is effected by the beast if awakened...."
In the distance, the palaces of the great kingdoms can be seen in ruin. The Celestial palace just barely leviating above the ground in a diagonal motion, the palace of everworld now nothing more than a pile of rubble and copper.
And finally....
The Umbra's Palace. Completely in ruin. razed to the ground.
AMong the greatest of horros was a mountain of corpses among the ruins. taller than any other. At the very top of the maintain was a man, holding a beuatiful woman by her throat. her companion was ripped to shreds and now lfieless. The woman's pleads did not phase the man at all as he snaps her neck with a twist of his wrist, dropping her limp body to his feet.
"Take a closer look."
As the vision began to zoom in on the woman whom was killed, Tamrissa can see the bodies of her companions. Both those she loved and those she hated. all of them were at the top of the mountain. The woman who's neck was snapped in two was none other than Tamrissa herself. The man standing atop her body looked down at the mountain of his victims. The valley of everyone he had slaughtered and torn to shreds. and with a roar of satisfaction, everything burned in bright crimson flame.
Just as this occured, Tamrissa is returned to the garden and Danyael takes his hand away from her forehead.
"Now you know... If the alliance is not formed...then that is your fate and the fate of all you know and love..."
with this said, Danyael walks over to the lake and looks in at his reflection.
"That is our fate if we do not unite..."
as he looks in the reflecting waters....
he sees his old persona.
