Cameron glances over at Natalya as she speaks. He seems to have regained his compusure, but his eyes still glow a deep red, giving away his inner anger.
"If it's that important, then you might want to wait till we're on board the ship. I'll actually have time to listen then."
Cameron already has a bad feeling about the coming conversation with Natalya. He shoots a quick glance at Soul Reaver, and a mental message is quickly passed between the two warriors.
Do not let her out of your sight. Not even for a second.Cameron looks around the room.
"There are transports waiting outside to take us to the spaceport. Let's roll."
Cameron turns and walks out of the lobby. As he gets outside, he meets Garr, who somehow managed to completely bypass the lobby and make it outside from the lower levels. Garr bows his head politely.
"Well, Lord Aileron, what of the vampire?"
Cameron looks at Garr, and Garr immedeately notices the state of Cameron's eyes. He quickly thinks of taking the question back, but Cameron responds too quickly.
"What of him? Let him do whatever he damm well pleases. As long as he gets off this planet, I'm happy."
Garr nods. He knows he shouldn't press further, but he feels the need to continue.
"And Lady Tamrissa?"
Cameron stops and spins to face Garr, his eyes increasing in their brightness. Garr takes a quick step backwards.
"I don't know. Why don't you ask her? That is, if you can understand a single damm word she says! Anathros is responding to Valermos in the same motherfucking language! So I have no idea what is going on. And frankly, it's not important. She's here, and she can still wield the blade. That's all that matters."
Cameron quickly lapses into a language that only the other Elementals can understand.
"
She kept me from killing that fool Serumen while I had the chance. So until she finds some way to explain her actions, she's just as guilty as he is. If he commits any more acts of carnage to our allies from this point on, the blood will be on her hands."
Cameron turns and storms twoards the waiting Rhino transports, leaving a dumbfounded Garr standing on the Command Center steps.
