Cameron watches Natalya closely as she speaks. As she finishes, he reaches into one of the pockets of his uniform.
"Well, I have an extra one of these things... and I don't think that the person who was using it has any use for it any longer...
Cameron trails off, obviously not wanting to speak too much of this person. He pulls a small blue crystal on a chain from his pocket. he then walks over and hands it to Natalya.
"This will accept and hold any energy you focus into it, and will continue to hold it until you will it to release the energy back to it's source. It will also give you whatever benefits the source of the energy gave you. Should work for what you need."
Cameron then turns and walks away, gathering his thoughts. When he turns back to face Natalya, his eyes have shifted colors. They now glow a bright blue.
"As for the man you speak of, it would be easier if I showed you."
Cameron closes his eyes and projects his thoughts towards Natalya. If her mind is open to recieve them, she will see the image of the man exactly as Cameron saw it on the sweeper team's footage. Having projected the thought, Cameron turns around, realising that the burst of elemental energy he felt passing through the ground while he was talking to Natalya must have somehow repaired most of the damage done by Blooddrinker's return. Looking over his shoulder, he sees Tamrissa down on her knees, and quickly realises that it was he rwho had expelled the energy. His eyes narrow as he thinks to himself.
That's not going to be enough to prove that your intentions are still good, Tamrissa. For your sake, you better keep an eye on your vampire friend. He may not have been able to kill you, but if any more innocents die at his hands while I;m around, I'll do what I should have done while he was laying there in the desert unconsious. And then I'll do the job that he fucked up so badly and make you pay for stopping my hand.Cameron watches Tamrissa for a moment longer, and then turns and heads for the lead Rhino.
A shadow looms over Tamrissa as she kneels. The object casting the shadow moves in front of her and reveals itself to be Garr. He extends a hand to her.
"Lady Tamrissa, are you alright?"
Karyl strolls out of the Command Center, with a female civilian in tow. He turns and waves to her, and she smiles and waves back. He then saunters over to the Rhino that Danyael and Kartzeh had entered. He climbs in and sits directly across from Kartseh.
"Hey, dudes! What's happening?"
Mary walks out of the Command Center lobby, noting the civilian female standing on the steps with tears in her eyes, waving frantacily at the Rhino which she had seen Danyael enter. She walks over to the Rhino and climbs in, taking a seat next to Danyael. She then notices Karyl.
"Oh.... it's you. Who's that outside? Your girlfriend?"
Karyl shrugs.
"Oh, she's just some chick. I think she dug my musical talents. Well, and some other stuff, but you slap me when I talk about that stuff."
Karyl grins at Mary, who frowns back. He then looks at Danyael and Kartzeh.
"Either of you care for some tunes?"
