Taggart turns to Kaworu and grins.
"Well... do you know anything about space travel?"
As Taggart talks to Kaworu, the engineers and technicians rush around the bridge, getting status reports from all the systems.
On the Starblade...
Cameron offers a half grin at Kelvack.
"Sorry. I guess I wasn't watching where I was going."
Cameron's smile widens as he cracks the joke, but then it quickly vanishes as his attention turns elsewhere.
Garr raises an eyebrow questioningly at Tamrissa's strange answer to his question. He is about to asker another question when he catches a glimpse of Cameron out of the corner of his eye. Cameron is staring at Tamrissa as well, with his eyes narrowed and a look of anger written on his face. His eyes shift and meet Garr's, and Garr heads over to where he is standing. He begins to speak in his native tounge. No one will be able to understand him, but strangely enough, Tamrissa can hear the words he speaks in the Elemental language echoed back to her seconds later in Shide. The translation comes from Anathros.
"Lord Aileron, what is troubling you? And what was that language-"
Cameron makes a knife across the throat gesture and cuts him off. He speaks in a whisper, but Anathros translates regardless.
"Quiet! She can understand this language cause of the sword. We will speak in private."
Cameron then turns to Kalana, who was not able to understand what he and Garr had said, but knew what they said anyway due to her link with Cameron's mind. Cameron speaks to her in the common tounge.
"I'll be right back. Let me know if the Revenant reports in, and get the ship moving if the report is good."
Cameron and Garr quickly leave the bridge. Kari follows shortly after. Kalana watches them go, glances at Tamrissa, and then turns to Yue, who was now standing near her, looking at one of the screens. She wracks her brain for a moment, and then remembers the girls's name from a past conversation with Cameron.
"Yue... are you alright? You weren't hurt during all that mess, were you?"
On the Revenant...
Karyl had left the bridge. No one really seemed to be in a talking mood, and Mary was acting all wierd, so he figured he'd go find a place to practice. Now he walks around a corridor just in time to see a flash of light from another corridor ahead. He runs into the corridor and sees two Marines, who hadn't had the forsight to put on their helmets, which ould have blocked the flash. They were now slumped on either side of the corridor, covering their eyes with their hands and moaning. Karyl glances down the hallway and sees a figure running away. he frowns, and then vanishes, dissipating into electricity which quickly zipped it's way through the ship's circuitry.
As Taysir runs, a figure suddenly appears in a flash of light a few yards ahead of him. The figure with the long blond hair and glowing white eyes pulls a guitar from his back and brandishes it like an axe. Then he begins to grin like a madman.
"Greetings, stranger! They call me "Blue Lightning", and I'll play you my number 1 smash hit on my axe here, after I smash it into your ugly face!"
Karyl waits to see what the running stranger's reaction is.
