When he finishes, she touches the tip of her nose and smiles slightly. Of course, 'rubbed off' is a little too general and lightly put, but he understands what needs to be understood and that is enough for her. "Diola lle," she offers the quill and parchment back to him.

Posts: 978 Apr 13 04 10:23 AM [Insert Custom Rank Here] Colonel More My Recent Posts	Back on the Revenant, Kitharsis was walking around the ship, rubbing the pain away from his elbow. He had smashed it onto a console in the front of a ship, causing a good amount of damage to it. After all but destroying the machinery, he decided that it would be best for him to stay away from such fragile equipment. His skeletons were rather bored being cooped up in the ship, but of course, they were always bored when they weren't in the middle of a battle. Like their master, their only purpose is to cause destruction, and they are hard pressed to find any meaning in anything else. Maybe if I went home for just a minute... But Kitharsis wouldn't abandon his friends. Apparently his comrades were the only thing that kept his focus. Tirthandara are, by their inherited nature, destructive and power hungry. Being surrounded and influenced by people with the want to do good has changed Kitharsis's demeanor, but there is always the thought of fighting running through his head. He and his skeletons always seem to find themselves examining people, even their friends, for weak spots to attack from. But his skeletal minions would never attack unprovoked or without their master's command, and Kitharsis himself holds his friends in such high regard that the would never follow through with such thoughts. "I wonder when we'll get to this Cadia planet..."

Posts: 1675 Apr 13 04 10:19 PM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	Soul Reaver takes back the quill and parchment, giving a small, pleased smile at having puzzled out the details of Tamrissa's condition. Naturally, the implications for her were severe... and admittedly, Soul Reaver did not actually know anything in detail about the Goddess in question. However, he sees no corruption hiding within Tamrissa's new spiritual signature, and so it is likely that the influence is not for a dark goal. Even so, Soul Reaver reminds himself to be cautious. He did not like Gods meddling in mortal - or even immortal - affairs. Though he did not know of the Gods that may watch over Tamrissa, he did know something of the Gods of his home, the Mortal Plane. The eyes of those Gods were often firmly set on their own schemes and on the distant future... and so, even with the best intentions, they would often unkowngly trample the mortals that happened to cross their paths. Most Gods hold little regard to life other than to see how it can serve them. It is not surprising then the Soul Reaver decides it may be best to keep an eye on Tamrissa, just in case. After returning the quill and parchment to his Infinity Pouch, he speaks to Tamrissa again. He is not actually expecting a reply, but simply trying to be polite and relieve tension. "So, you have a divine guardian angel - I am glad she managed to save you from death. I only hope we can discover what it was that possessed Fei when he struck you down... he was not himself then, that much is obvious. Ever since he has returned to us, much about him has changed... I fear that erratic behaviour is associated with that change. I hardly need to tell you this, but watch yourself around him. Whatever possessed him then may strike again, and clearly it bears a greater grudge against you than anyone else... though why that would be is also unknown to me." He shrugs, and then seems to remember something. "Oh, and one last thing, though I suspect you know this and merely used the name to help illustrate your point... but Inferno is not a part of the Plane you drew. Inferno is a separate Plane in its own right. It helps explain why the Daemons who dwell there are so hostile to all other Daemons... they feel their dimension is the only true home for creatures of their kind, and they consider all other Daemons traitors to the wishes of their homeworld."

She knows very well. His next remark makes her nod again. She glances at Natalya, feeling a pang of pity for any demon who must deal with the wrath of the Inferno...her gaze sweeps to Cameron...or the Space Marines. Quietly, she leans back in her chair and looks forward at the monitor.

"Yes, I believe you have very skillfully evaded drawing attention to yourself - I had never even heard of your kind before I met you." The edges of his lips lift very faintly, a ghost of a smile. "And believe it or not, you are unusually lucky in your misfortune, Natalya. Your assignment to my side may well be your very best protection against Inferno. Inferno's Daemons must follow my commands - even in the unlikely event that we should meet them, they will not be able to harm you." However, to himself alone, Soul Reaver thinks, Or at least, not for as long as I remain in control of my own senses. I fear for what Blooddrinker would do to her should my command of him slip away...

He is wearing a maid's apron, one hand holds a dust-buster and the other holds an upturned mop. The stringy threads of the wet mop hang down and drip with melted milkshake. The cleaning equipment and apron absorb back into his blue body. He was still in his extreme warp travelling form; long spiky blue hair, and a smoothe all blue body. "I wonder what they are all talking about up there?" He asks himself, as he steps out from the kitchen area and down the hallway to where everyone was assembled. He arrives just when Natalya states that she hopes that Tamrissa can talk normally soon. "Oh, you can't talk?" He asks Tamrissa, chuckling as he speaks. "That must be frustrating. When will you be able to speak again?" He waits for an answer for a second then catches himself. "Oh, duh, sorry." He says, giving a nervous smile. "Boy, I couldn't live without talking. Ya' know, one race on the planet Igkap uses elaborate sign language to speak 'cause they don't have mouths. Heh, at first I thought that they were waving at me and motioning for me to come closer, but after being taken prisoner I learned that it was their way of saying, 'Get the heck out of here before we feed you to our Cheiftan!' "Long story short, the Chieftan wasn't hungry for a giant rock golem after he broke his teeth on my head, so they reluctantly let me go."

"I don't appreciate being stopped, and I will promise you shall not live to regret this." This man must be very mad,... or very talented. Somthing caught his attention. A noise of a smashing window came clear, and he glanced to one side to see a man cursing and waving a hand around. Foolish to do somthing like that... Pieces of glass flash by as they were thrown. He looks back over toward the lone stranger and sees that he now has guns drawn "We fleshy mortals are not going down without a fight, now feel our wraith!" Sepher watches as the stranger commences to open fire. He eases his katana at his shoulder and moves along untill he is past the men and still across the street. He stops and waits. If the deicided to run, they would get a taste of their own medicine.

One catches a shard in the eye and topples over. The others are distracted, and end up looking away from Diego long enough for them to be taken by complete suprise when Diego draws his weapons. Two of the cultists are shot dead where they stand. Another is grazed as the rest nimbly dodge in different directions and open fire on Diego. Two of the cultists ignore Diego completely and send a volley of rounds into the warehouse window. Another cultist, the grazed one, attempts to make a break for it and runs into Sepher, knocking him backwards but falling on his face in the process. The angered, injured cultist rolls back to his feet with inhuman speen and begins yelling, pointing his gun at Sepher's chest the entire time. "You were alive during the time of old Earth? That's amazing! Old Earth was destroyed ages ago! Oh wait... but I'll bet you're from a different plane. I always forget about that..." Taggart scratches his head. He then scratches his head even more when Kaworu refers to the large muscular man in the middle of the bridge as his "daughter". He moves closer to kaworu and whispers to him. "No offense, son... but err... he doesn't look like a she... if you know what I'm sayin..." Taggart suddeny jerks to attention as a tech shouts to him. "SIR! The Damage report is completed!" A look of concern flashes across Taggart's face. "Well? How is she?" The tech scans a document in his hand. "All minor damage, sir. She's fine to fly." Taggart grins. "Alright, then! What are you waiting for? Let's get 'er movin! ALL HANDS! Fire main engines! And get Lord Aileron on the line!" Taggart reaches out and clamps a meaty hand across his newfound friend Kaworu's back in a gesture of friendship. His smile widens in anticipation of the coming fight. "Here that, my friend? We fly to battle! TO FIGHT!" On the Starblade... Cameron has pretty much tuned out all the conversations around him. He is also focused on what lies ahead of them. The awesome weight of having an entire Chapter of Marines to watch over is starting to weigh heavily on the former bounty hunter's shoulders. he wishes he could just throw off the responsibility and simply do the job that he and the companions were meant to do. Storm the Chaos Lord's capital and break the powers of Chaos once and for all. But he knows that he'll have to play double duty if the companions or any of the Marines have any hope of survival. Kalana watches the antics of Kelack with a smile. Out of all the companions, he is one of her favorites. He always seems to be in a good mood. Both Cameron and Kalana are suddeny brought back to reality as Taggart's smiling face appears on a screen near the main viewport. "Sir! The Apocalypse has only sustained minor damage! She's ready to move!" Cameron grins. "Beautiful. All ships, ahead full!" Cameron walks to the controls of the Starblade, and with a slight shudder, the engines re-activate and the ship begins to move once more. On the Revenant... Admiral Benden is pleased by the announcement to move out. "Okay, men! You heard the man! Get this beast moving! All ahead full!" As the ship shudders with the re-activation of the main engines, mary moves out of the bridge. >>GOD MOD>> Danyael follows her out with a grim expression on his face. Back in the corridors of the ship, Karyl is sent flying by the super energized punch. However, this probably is not the best place to fight him, as electrical currents run all through the circuitry of the floors and walls of the ship. As Karyl hits the floor, he sinks into it. Re-appearing right behind Taysir, he takes a huge baseball swing with his "axe". Posts: 232 Apr 16 04 5:26 PM Alter-Ego Character More My Recent Posts	As the Revenant sits in outer space, waiting for the command to continue towards Cadia, Deravon is getting impatient. When are we going to get to this damn place. I am so bored i have no idea what to do.[i/] He then goes and sits down and a corner and closes his eyes and seems to fall asleep. As soon as his eyes closed, terrible images begin to flash through the ancient vampires mind. Images he wishes he could forget. On a distant planet A woman of medium height, long brown hair, good body can be seen clutching a baby, a scared expression on her face. "No, please don't hurt us. I'll do anything you want." At first the reciepent of the womans plees can't be seen, but all of a sudden the view widens to show a mob of people advancing on the woman. It can also be seen that the whole group is inside what appears to be someone's house. In the far corner of the room, behind the mob of people can be seen. In the window a familiar face is present, but this one is slightly different. It does not bear the familiar steel mask that can be seen on Deravons face during the present time. Instead it can be seen that his face is hideously disfigured. A look of horror can be seen on his face as the view turns towards a wall where a shadow of the woman can be seen against it. All of a sudden the womans shadow vanishes as it is overwhelmed by the shadows of the mob as they attack and slaughter her and the baby. At seeing this, Deravon turns and runs. "She's dead, my Liditha dead, and my son, all because of this accursed face of mine!" He then falls do the ground and releases a scream of pure sorrow. [i All of a sudden the form of Deravon spasm's a bit as he comes back to the present. Anyone looking in his direction sees a bloody tear trickle the cold steel of Deravons mask. All of a sudden he stands up and walks out the door and down the hallway. He begins to take random turns until he just stops in the hallway and clenches and unclenches his hands. All of a sudden he yells and slams his fist into the nearby wall, leaving a massive crater in it. He then falls to his knees and begins to weep. One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them. Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul. The thing is quickly up and pointing his gun at sephers chest and shouting. Quick little things they are. Sepher draws his Ancient Katana out of its cracked leather sheath and points it directly at the cultist. "The only thing worse that a coward, is a coward that hides behind a gun* In the blink of an eye, with incredible speed, sepher advances forward. He gives his katana a spin to bring it up underneath the gun, attempting to chop it off at the trigger and follow through with a slice diagonally down from the right

He knew that, as much as he would like to avoid using the blade, the coming conflict might well force his hand...

"Looks like we'll be there in a little while." She says softly to herself. She looks over at Soul Reaver, and tries to smile even though she is scared to death now that they're getting closer. Something in her blood, and her mind is telling that something is waiting in the shadows for her. But, then again, since in accident on Pluto she has always thought that when going into dangerous missions like this. "What happends if we're seperated?" She asks him quietly. "What should I do?"
