Seconds later, Cameron falls from the sky and lands in a crouching position not 10 feet from where the discarded Earth blade Anathros lay. Cameron picks it up and stares at it for a long moment. After all we did to help her... she leaves with no warning. THat bitch. She'll never change. Shaking his head sadly, Cameron slings Anathros over his shoulder and then looks towards the companions. At the same time, he sends a message to the other Elementals, alerting them to his location. Cameron spys Kalana, Damien, a gunslinger which Cameron tags quickly as one of the warriors brought in for questioning, and another strange creature who could only be the other aprehended warrior. They are running towards a nearby alley. Kitharsis trails behind them, and a warp beast is close behind him, enraged and charging. Cameron acts quickly, launching into the air as flames begin to whip around him. The charging warp beast is almost within lunging range of Kitharsis when a dozen fireballs plummet from the sky, exploding in front of the creature and throwing it off balance. Kalana looks back, and then looks up to see Cameron hovering in midair. He points back over her head, and she turns around, increasing her speed and making a beeline for the alley just ahead of them. Having given Kalana and the companions following her a chance to escape, Cameron scans the area once again. This time he sees Fei lying in a pool of his own blood right in the center of the warzone. Moving quickly, Cameron drops to the ground and rushes over to him. With no time to check his injuries, Cameron simply throws the Antedilluvian over his shoulder and takes off again, heading for the alley that Kalana and company were heading for. The beast charging Soul Reaver is caught completely by suprise, and can do nothing to protect itself from Soul's claws. The double shash tears huge gaping wounds in the creature's face and chest, and with a scream of pain, the beast collapses, thrashing about in death throwes. The beast grappling with Xeno breaks off upon hearing the death scream and begins to move towards Soul Reaver. The beast attacking Kaworu also changes directions and begins to charge in Soul Reaver's direction. And with a loud roar, the Imperial bombers scream overhead on their second pass. Posts: 319 Nov 4 04 1:01 AM Sergeant More My Recent Posts	xeno is grappling witht he beast and then it suddenly runs off you cock sucking rat bastard, there is no fucking chance you are getting away with your fucken life. xeno then gives chase to the beast slowly catching up to it. when xeno gets close enough he jumps and tries to bring his elbow down hard on the warp beasts lower back, atempting to break it. that should take care of that...what the fuck is that sound? xeno looks up and see's a bunch of planes flying by shit that cant be good. xeno then glows brown and suddenly all of the rock shatters and all that is there is some gust of wind that quickly takes shape as a tornado about the size of the rock golem (xeno is now a hatearian wind golem) and quickly leaves the area. WHOA!!! that things growing faster than a stiffy on a 14 year old. -Retro from Dead Leaves

Posts: 1675 Nov 4 04 9:48 PM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	Soul Reaver's breakneck pace does not slow for even a moment as the Deathclaws slice through the creature. He is however acutely aware of the other two creatures as they turn towards him, both charging from different directions. The fighters scream overhead a second time, the sound warning Soul Reaver that his time will be up in just a moment. There is no more time to engage the final two creatures in battle, so Soul Reaver makes a dangerous, desparate bid... Soul Reaver changes course ever so subtly, forcing both creatures to adjust their charge... now both are heading towards each other. Timing is everything now. Xeno strikes viciously down on the creature to Soul Reaver's right as it is just about to reach him. The other creature, charging from a different angle, is also almost upon him... In that second before the impact, Soul Reaver allows the Deathclaws to dissipate as he yells the words for a spell. Soul Reaver disappears in a blaze of crimson - the Warp creature that had previously been fighting Kaworu finds itself charging thin air... with the other Warp creature right in its path. Some distance away, Soul Reaver's teleport spell causes him to reappear in mid air a short distance from Kaworu. Judging distances accurately with all the anger trying to surface in his body and all the chaos around him was difficult, and it seems he has misjudged ever so slightly. Soul Reaver starts to fall towards the ground as he initiates the second phase of his plan. He manages to yell, "Grab my hand!" Soul Reaver's gauntlet thrusts out as he falls towards Kaworu. His arm is outstretched as far as it will go, hoping that he can seize his comrade before it is too late. Hearing the fighters approaching on the final, deadly pass, Soul Reaver shuts his eyes. Not even certain if Kaworu has managed to take his hand or not, and just before he hits the ground, Soul Reaver concentrates on the approximate location of his friends, and shouts the words for the Teleport spell once more...

Yue took a step back, backing into Chris. His attention didnt shift as he cast a fist of lighting into the one creature. Noting the bomber above him, he made a quick glance back to his sister. "Perhaps it would be best to move now?" He asked casually. She hesitated for a moment, before finally nodding in agreement. "As much as I hate retreating... being blowen up doesnt sound very good either. Lead the way!" The two made their way over the field, avoiding whatever they could. It appeared they werent the only ones still left behind. We are not living, but merely existing out of the fear of dying. ~Yue Kurine

Before anything else happens, he surpresse his rage, and burns away his emotions, concentrating of becoming human. He falters a step as a bright light flashes and he once again reverts to human form, his wounds gone, but not his tiredness. "Well, that was lucky," he remarks. And then, in an instant, a familiar form appears beside him in mid air in a burst of red light. Kaworu hears Soul Reaver yell "Grab my hand!" With roar of the approaching bombers in his ears, and Soul Reaver's gauntlet thrust out towards him, Kaworu makes a desperate grab. His hand finds purchase on Soul Reaver's forearm. Soul Reaver can be heard yelling a word of magic. There is a burst of red light, and then...

And perhaps when he spent his last bit of energy on helping destroy the warp lord... But that was before his transformation into a Tirthandara. And because he was the only living Tirthandara that he knew of, much was still a mystery to him. His body's violent reaction to the release of his dark energy was not something that he would like to repeat. Perhaps the shaman could give him answers. But the shaman was back on Legund, and Kitharsis is fleeing for his life on this god forsakend planet that is being taken over by chaos. He looks back at one of his mage skeletons, it was dragging his cloak behind him. The cloak itself was of no importance, but the ceramic devices inside of it were invaluable to him. One in particular held his way home, the only way home... Hopefully it was alright. Noticing the marksman glance back at him, Kith tries to run faster, but his legs might as well have been made out of concrete. Helpless. If Cameron hadn't distracted that warp beast he would have been fighting for his life with spent muscles and a weakened mind. His skeletons might have been able to fend it off, but then there were those bombers streaking across the sky, soon to set us up the bomb. "Can't you cast anything to make this easier?" He shouts back at his two mage skeletons. The one not carrying his cloak looks up at him and nods. Its tiny skeletal hands ball into fists and burst with magical energy. A haste spell would only wear out its master at a faster pace, so that was out of the question. A thick mist forms around Kitharsis and his three skeletal companions and travels along with them. The galloping of hooves with an odd rhythm echoes across the asphalt as the mist fades away showing Kitharsis riding a monstrous horse with six legs and a thick horn protruding from its forehead. Gripping its mane with one hand, Kith reaches down and snatches up his two mage skeletons which sit in front of him. His warrior skeleton drops back and leaps onto the back of the strange horse, sitting behind Kitharsis. With everyone on, the mage skeleton that casted the summon spell snaps its bony fingers. The animal speeds up and reaches the others quickly.

Posts: 1675 Nov 8 04 5:53 PM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	After Sera's volleys of arrows draw the gunfire of the cultists, she begins to jump, dodge, and weave skillfully amongst the rubble littering the street, making herself as difficult to hit as possible. Her arrows take down numerous cultists before the Warp creatures start to appear. She quickly discovers that her arrows cannot pierce their hides, and when Kalana suggests beating a quick exit, she decides to comply. With her elven grace and speed, she quickly runs from the battlefield, easily catching up with the other warriors. Shenba, on finding herself surrounded by cultists, begins to swing at them madly, lashing out in all directions. Her fury takes its toll on them, although she herself suffers some flesh wounds from the desparate counter-attacks of the cultists. With the last of her foes dead, Shenba finds herself suddenly in a lull in the battle - it seems there are no cultists nearby. Before she manages to properly re-engage, the cultits are already fleeing as Warp creatures begin to appear. She hears Kalana yell for her to retreat. Although reluctant at first, her realization that almost everyone else has already left cause her to hiss in frustration and make a run for it. She manages to avoid the Warp creatures, taking huge leaps into the air to dodge them when necessary, and running at full speed, passes the tired Kitharsis before rejoining the other companions.

Turning around she looks at the warp moster. "I really don't have time for you!" She screams at it using her pent up energy to since a feirce torrent of icy winds straight at the creature lifting her off the surface breifly. Coming down hopefully distracting the creature Natalya blots towards the rest of the party. Upon her sprint, she feels something snap in her left leg. Stumbling forward, she gets back up disregarding the pain and the blood coming from her leg. Quickly, to make her run faster, she sheets the wound with a small icy feild. "Master Reaver! Please, don't leave me behind!" She whimpers as she catches up with them. Still on her feet and all. ~To live is to die, to die is to live.~

Posts: 1328 Nov 10 04 1:31 AM Major More My Recent Posts	Shenba skids to a halt, hearing Natalya's daemon voice over everything else she turns to scout where it came from. There was so much movement it was difficult to locate her, shining light and cracks of ice along with the sudden gush of chilling wind. Shenba slides her hook swords through the strap on her back, with that done she dashes towards Natalya who now can be seen making her way towards Soul and Kaworu. Gritting her teeth together Shenba runs faster the moment she spots Kaworu and Soul disappear, swinging her arms she releases her talons hacking and stabbing anything that gets in her way as she weaves through effortlessly. Leaping into the air with a grunt Shenba lands directly infront of Natalya, swings her arm under Natalya then leaps back into the air over the warp beasts. Gliding through the air Shenba lands with a heavy thump leaving a small dent on the floor. Shenba looks around noticing her escape routes are now gone, She clenches her fist letting out a small growl, she closes her eyes trying to focus on Seras's location. She frowns as it takes longer than she would of liked, finally she spots Seras making her way out with the others. " Hold on Natalya. " Shenba murmurs a few words, from what could be regarded as ancient dragon language. In a matter of seconds her spell completes and shenbas body slowly shimmers out of sight, hopefully appearing next to Seras. One folly she forgot about was her spells base around fire and heat around her, while Natalya lives and survives on cold situations and habitats... Anywhere can be paradise, as long as you have the will to live. After all, you are alive. So you will always have the chance to be happy. As long as the sun, the moon, and the earth exists. Everything will be alright. Humans can only exist on this earth. But the Evangelion will be able to exist for ever, along with the human soul that dwells with in it. When the earth, the moon and the sun are all gone, Eva will exist so long as just one person remains. Whats left of his remains, an oozing sac of blood and mangled black and white hair, twists and bends with no resistance as he is thrashed around with the action. Alex Eldwar fights Diligantly to protect Mystara before the Presence of Fei is ripped from him. As it is Mystara, who suddenly clutches her heart and falls to the ground in pain. "No..." She whispers quietly. Alex Eldwar's eyes go to Cameron, following him closely. He qiuckly inhales deeply and sprays the foes infront of him with a life withering, Caustic Black cloud. Sheathing both swords he takes Mystara by her arm and whips her up over his shoulders as she can't move, herself. And with elven Speed he races after Cameron.

Posts: 3771 Nov 23 04 2:17 AM Angel of Redemption God-General More My Recent Posts	The warp beast charging Soul Reaver suddenly finds itself charging another Warp Beast. This Warp Beast, who also thought it was charging Soul Reaver, tries to change direction but can't stop in time. The two beasts collide head on. They fall over in a heap and lay still, temporarilly stunned. Xeno's elbow drop does not break the back of the Warp beast he was aiming for, but it does cause the beast to stumble. It quickly rights itself and roars, looking for it's quarry, but Xeno has already transformed and is gone. The angered beast chooses to charge a small pack of surviving cultists instead. Cameron lands in the nearby side alley just as two grey Rhino transports roll to a stop. They both open, and two Grey Knights marines jump out of each one, aiming bolters towards the alley's opening. Kari and Garr also jump out of the first Rhino just as Cameron gently drops the mutilated body of Fei on the ground. Kari runs up to examine his wounds as Cameron hands Garr the earth blade Anathros and then walks back towards the alley. He quickly manifests his Marine armour around him. He then searches and spies the companions, all running towards him. Kalana still leads the pack. Unable to run any faster, she pushes the energy within her downward and lifts off, flying straight toiwards the alley. She lands just in front of Cameron and quickly comes to a stop. "Cameron, are you okay?" Cameron nods slightly. His voice comes out distorted from the speakers in the helmet. "I'm fine. Get in the Rhino. We need to move now." Kalana complies as Kari yells from behind him. "This one's in pretty bad shape! I don't know if there's anything I can do for him!" Cameron doesn't bother to look behind him, instead concentrating on the alleyway opening as Kitharsis and his warrior skeletons arrive on a unusual mount. "Get him loaded into the second Rhino! We don't have time to try and help him here!" Hearing sounds of shouting approaching, Cameron activates his arm mounted storm bolter and aims it towards the open alley entrance. The two marines witness this and drop to one knee to steady their bolters for firing. Diego, Sepher, Damien, Sera, and Alex carrying Mystara all rush into the alley at about the same time. Just as they make it past Cameron and the two marines, a group of cultists hell bent on making their escape charge into the alley. Cameron and the marines immedeately open fire, as well as the two gunners from the Rhinos. Cameron is temporarily distracted by a burst of energy as Soul Reaver and Kaworu suddenly appear in midair to his left. they both fall into an open dumpster, and trash goes flying everywhere. Cameron goes back to shooting as Shenba and Natayla appear just to his right. He quickly shouts to the companions behind him. "GET IN THE RHINOS! WE HAVE NO TIME LEFT!" An unnatural gust of wind whips past Cameron. Not realising that the gust of wind was Xeno, Cameron disregards it and continues to lay covering fire. He clambers inside just as the marines behind him open fire on a rampage of Cultists. He lets out a sigh of relief as he watches from inside the rhino and watches as the others rush in after him. Diego takes a berretta from its holster and leans foward to fire a shot at the cultists being held at bay by the marines. He watches the shot as it speeds into the pack and singles out a head to collide with. Just before it hits Diego leans back and waits for what ever next is to come.

Posts: 1675 Nov 23 04 10:11 PM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	Soul Reaver appears, disoriented, in the air. Although he tries to twist his body so as to see where exactly he is (and land on his feet), his efforts are futile and he lands with a loud crash in something hard and uncomfortable. His wrist bangs heavily against some sort of metal frame, although luckily his Gauntlets prevent him from suffering any actual damage. Grunting in displeasure, Soul Reaver struggles to sit up in the shifting mass of foul-smelling... stuff that he now finds himself in. The sounds of shouting, gunfire, and Cameron's urging for everyone to enter the Rhinos spurs Soul Reaver on almost as much as the fact that he is apparently sitting atop something cold and decidedly runny. Finally getting some balance, Soul Reaver seizes the sides of the dumpster and vaults over the edge, landing on his feet on the concrete outside. He does not waste time cleaning himself up - he merely checks to make sure that Kaworu can take care of himself before running towards the entrance of the nearest Rhino. A ricocheting bullet causes a spark and a metallic 'ping' right beside his head as he ducks inside the vehicle, but other than perhaps his hygene, Soul Reaver remains undamaged from the whole encounter.

He ducks out of they way as the marines and cameron start to shoot, and bullets wiz by as shooting comes out of the rhino. He dives in, landing beside diego "That was close....I almost didnt come back....." Of course referring to the fact that he had trouble coming back out of his demon form, he takes a place beside diego ~If I must die, I will encounter darkness as a bride, and hug it in mine arms"~

He rolls and chucks a fit around inside the dumpster trying to get out of the trash, finally he sticks his head out of the dumpster cussing and looking like a man who got out of the wrong side of the bed. " Well that was just super duper fucking fantastic! what a lame place to appear! " Kaworu rolls out of the dumpster and makes his way to the Rhino as he picks the crap off him. He finally gets in the rhino most likely stinking like a pile of shit. " Just peachy " Shenba remains silent, only watching Natalya make her way to the Rhino, he sheaths her talons before calmly walking towards and hops aboard the Rhino herself. She looks at Kaworu unable to hold in a smile. Kaworu looks up at her, he frowns then raises his happy little rude finger at her, again causing her to laugh slightly. Sera skids to a halt keeping her bow ready, with one last scan of the area she proceeds to board the rhino, standing at the exit bow ready to drop any unwelcome passengers. Anywhere can be paradise, as long as you have the will to live. After all, you are alive. So you will always have the chance to be happy. As long as the sun, the moon, and the earth exists. Everything will be alright. Humans can only exist on this earth. But the Evangelion will be able to exist for ever, along with the human soul that dwells with in it.
