Posts: 282 Feb 21 05 7:58 PM Sergeant More My Recent Posts	Metal seems to rip as shots ring out, and the bullets ricochet on the inside of the rhino. He insticitivly throws his hands up in front of his face. The back of his hands sting as they are struck by sparks from the ricochets, luckly, the bullets not hitting him. Soul reaver dashes up the ladder, and bashes the stuck hatch open, and diego follows, beckoning his companions form the rhino. Sepher thought that wouldn't be a smart idea, going up there, but just as he stands to move to the ladder, another unknown figure flips inside athletically Holy Shit! What the hell is going on! ~If I must die, I will encounter darkness as a bride, and hug it in mine arms"~

I need a good bed and a hot meal before I do any more fighting." He looks over at his brown cloak. It had been ripped to shreds and was bundled up in the corner of the rhino. "And perhaps some new clothes might do well also. "You seemed to have fared pretty well during that battle. Forgive me if I was scarce, but something rather unusual happenned to me. I believe that it is the cause of me being so fatigued... You see that energy I spoke of earlier is in its raw form very dark, and dare I say... evil. If I do not meditate and purify it I must not use it, or this will happen to me again. The purified energy does not harm me, but I only can purify so much, the process takes concentration and a great amount of time. "But enough about me, did you make it through the battle unharmed? I could have one of my pets cast a healing spell on you if you wish."

There used to be six of them. The group of them together were quite the handful, and combining their strenth they were pretty powerful." Sighing, he continues. "But in the battles that we've been in, more and more of my pets do not make it through. I also used to have a small army of warriors wielding Kamas. The battle with the Tyranids made quick work of them. That was quite a... fun experience. "Once I have a chance to meditate, I think I will create more skeletons for when we travel into the eye."

I think it would be quite an ... experiance." He smiles then removes his laptop from inside his coat. After a while of typing and searching through online files he finds something that acts like a gps system of the sector they are in. 3d blueprints flash up on his screen and quickly find his location, and show many possably places they could be going due to the path they have be following. "Bah!" He says frustrated " Way too many possibilitys. It works so much better in an isolated place." He groans and looks for new weapon upgrades in stores to pass the time. "Ford" "Yes?" He turns and digs in the crumbled up pile of cloth that used to be his cloak. After a short while he pulls out an oval shaped piece of worked clay with various designs on it. There seems to be a few workable buttons on its side. "This was given to me by a shaman on my home planet. It has a simple purpose, but it is invaluable to me. I have a few others as well, they each serve a different purpose. "A source of information would be a valuable thing. I may have to learn about these things."

"A giant shadow landed on top of the Rhino about two seconds after you told me someone was tailing us. What was I supposed to do? Just sit there and watch? I couldn't tell it was Fei... I couldn't sense him." Cameron takes off his helmet, revealing a concerned look. "I still can't sense him..." Cameron looks past Soul Reaver and ahead of the two transports. Skyscrapers and buildings have given way to warehouses and large cylindrical towers. The Rhinos have entered the southern industrialised zone, and continue to head south. Above, the massive malestrom of the Eye of Terror blots out the entire skyline. Thunderhawks roar overhead, all heading south as well. Cameron looks back at Soul. "Soul, we're almost there. Let the people in your Rhino know." Cameron then banishes his armor and lowers the gun platform back into the Rhino. As it decends and locks, he looks around at the occupants of his Rhino. He glances around for a moment. "I could swear I still sense something, Cameron. I do not know what, but something." Reluctantly, Soul Reaver returns to the rhino. He drops through the battered hatch, and closes it as best as it still can. He walks back towards his seat. As he does so, he addresses the other Rhino occupants. "It was a false alarm... but we cannot relax. We are almost at our destination, so it would be a good idea to prepare ourselves appropriately." He gives a concerned look towards Kitharsis. "You need to rest, do you not? By the looks of the environment outside, what we are heading towards will not be very inviting."

"Yes, of course... I have met Xeno in the past as well. He is a mercenary, and by and large, a trouble-maker." Soul Reaver then looks carefully at the back of the Rhino... in fact, he seems to look THROUGH it. A slight flash of red crackles through his iris. "It is him. Now that I know what I am looking for I have been able to confirm it. I recognize his spiritual signature. I should let Cameron know." Soul Reaver establishes a mental link with Cameron, and sends him a message. Cameron, I was not mistaken. Someone was following us, and still is. It is Xeno, a rodent-like mercenary warrior. Diego and Sepher have apparently encountered him earlier, so he is on this planet, and I have personally confirmed it is him from his spiritual signature. Since we do not know who he is working for, it may be wise to try and find out. We cannot assume anything right now, but the fact that he is trying to follow us covertly is not a good sign.

I tried to do something... unwise, and it cost me dearly. If we are indeed heading into The Eye, I will be of no use, I fear that it would be suicide for me to even consider fighing in this state. "I need a calm and quiet place to meditate, I believe that if I am able to do so I will be more than ready to aid you all in battle. I do not wish to be a burden on everyone, but this is the only way I will be able to fight."
