He looks up at the cultist expectantly, still trying to keep up with the act. But it would seem that he had been forgotten because of some kind of assassination of their leader. Growing angry that he had lost out on all of the attention that he would have gotten, Kelvack decides to speak up. "Hey! I don't care if your mother just arrived in town with twins!!! I'm a talking cat and I want to show you something amazing!!!!" The cat yells with a voice that was loud and booming, not something you would expect from such a small animal. Just then, the side wall is crashed in, concrete spills all over the room and metal bars and wooden planks fall to the floor. A high pitched screeching fills the room as the giant roach stands up and raises its bladed front legs. Without ruining the element of surprise, Kelvack grins and grows to the size of a full grown lion, with claws and teeth just as sharp. The huge cat and roach attack at once. The first cultists they encounter have no chance, as they are ripped to shreds with bladed legs and sharp claws. The others managed to get their weapons out and were opening fire on the two. Kelvack was too quick for them to keep a bead on him in his cat form and he leapt from side to side until he reached one of them and quickly slit his throat with a quick slash. The roach was also faring pretty well. Its hard shell was protecting it from most of the bullets, and its bladed front legs were slashing down the cultists quite quickly. One managed to escape out of the side door before they could finish him off. Now all that was left in the room was a bloody mess and the roach and Kelvack. The roach nods at Kelvack and steps over to him. The two lunge at each other and merge into one ball of flesh. After a span of shifting and writhing, Kelvack stands in the middle of the room, wearing his usual white pants with a red stripe down the side and his armbands. "Ok, go get your friends. I'm in the mood for some fun."

Posts: 2848 Apr 21 05 2:17 PM Prince of Nooses Colonel More My Recent Posts	Fei stands upon the wall looking down, his old smirk across his face. His hair blows in the gusts of wind which entangle his twisted and tattered clothing that got shot to pieces. "Time to die...." Fei whispers out into the wind, weaving between the warehouses, carrying his enchanting and ancient voice into the ears of his enemies. A large group of cultists heading into battle are suddenly stopped by the voice as they turn up to look at the shadowy figure atop of the wall, glowing emerald green eyes peering down on them. The figure standing on the wall stretches his arms out to his sides, his fingers outstretched then gripping the blackenend cord handles of 2 extraordinarily long blades as the shadows that engulf the figure weave them together. The black blades bend reality as they emit a very dark blue'ish purple haze. The Cultists Open Fire in a wave of shells thrown from their guns; bullets ripping through the air at the target. Fei leaps high into the air before any of the bullets get anywhere close to him, a writhing purple and black shadow trailing far behind him and the swords. The Cultists reload their weapons as Fei flips 4 times and then swan dives down, descending on them rapidly as they take take aim and open fire. Fei spirals slowly as both blades appear to be wings trailing behind him due to their extreme length of 6 feet at least. Blacklightning ripples through the area as Fei lands, both blades spinning furiously around in a dance of destruction, de'limbing those around him, the shadowlightning creating an explosive force that twists the walls of the 2 warehouses the cultists are between before errupting outward. A shower of blood fall to the ground on Fei's initial strike, spilling through the 2 parallel warehouses, and out onto the field of combat. "Heh heh heh, it feels Gooood to be.... ALIVE!" Fei yells out, bringing his one shadowy Blade down onto the body of one of the cultist's heads, prying it from the body and holding it high, the blood running down the Black blade before withering to nothingness upon the Kurusunami. Turning his head to the left, Fei plucks one of his large fangs with his tongue before whipping his one blade at a group of incoming Cultists, forming into a golden disc that begins tearing through the metal around as it approaches the target. I being Poor have only my dreams And I have spread my dreams under your feet. So Tread Lightly, Because you Tread on my Dreams.

His hand seems to grasp nothing but air, but as he pulls up, a gleaming sword materializes out of nothing. "I am the Right hand of God. It is time this foul evil was wiped from the universe forever." At saying this Jharm takes to the sky, even though he doesnt seem to have any kind of wings to fly with, and charges at the nearest group of cultists. Posts: 232 Apr 21 05 3:32 PM Alter-Ego Character More My Recent Posts	Upon hearing Clutchfiends command to head for the stabilizers and to kill any cultists that stop them, the familiar grin appears on the vampires face as his muscles seem to bulge and grow slightly bigger. Time to have some fun!!! "You shall stay out of this, this fight is mine." Deravon's nails then take on their familiar claw like appearance as his charges at a nearby group. As soon as he reaches them, blood starts flying as he mercilessly starts hewing off limbs left and right. The cultists try everything to take the creature down, but nothing seems to effect him. Good, keep going, feel the rage build up inside of you. Fell the hate towards these monsters. I will have control again soon. "NEVER!!!" All of a sudden his nails return to normal and Deravon proceeds to use his fists to defeat his enemies. We never paid any heed to the ancient prophecies. Like fools, we clung to the old hatreds and fought as we had for generations ---until the day the sky rained fire and a new enemy came upon us. We stand now upon the brink of destruction. For the Reign of Chaos has come at last...

Posts: 1675 Apr 21 05 9:39 PM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	Soul Reaver completes his spell, extending the palm of his left hand in front of him. Shadowy swirls of power coalesce around his hand, rapidly gathering into a black, shimmering mass. Suddenly, the ball erupts outward towards the last few cultists remaining between him and the newcomer. The streamers of Dark Sorcery released by the spell hurtle forward and solidify into swords of dark, shimmering metal, flying point-first at the cultists. The cruel weapons move so fast that the cultists barely have time to gasp before they are hit. Flesh parts with ease as the blades slide into their new sheathes, burying themselves right up to their hilts in the cultist's bodies. They go down, gurgling as blood wells up in their lungs, each pierced by no less than four swords each. As their bodies hit the ground, the swords evaporate back into dark mana with a sizzling hiss, swept back into the ocean of magic. Despite his best efforts, Soul Reaver cannot repress another throaty chuckle. He advances on the newcomer, extending his free hand. "Welcome, m'lady... although I suspect that this is the last place you would want to be right now. I also suspect that you came here by accident, and not design. It seems you may be in over your head..."

She finally opens her eyes and discovers two things: 1) the remaining beings that had been attacking her are all writhing on the ground, gasping their last breaths before they are carried through the gates of Hrefa forever... Their attacker must have been very fast and skillful, for they all bled through multiple wounds in their torsos. Every time one would try to breathe, blood would gush out of the openings. What a painful way to die. The second realization was even more startling... The stranger's footsteps were extremely close... Another maniacal laugh resounded, piercing the air with the fading remnants of the previous deluge of evil and madness.There he was... Both of Faidth's hands were extended towards him, still firmly holding her Skeerya. Faidth debated whether or not she should slay him where he stood... She had all but decided to lop off his head when he extended his hands towards her and began to speak... "Welcome, m'lady... although I suspect that this is the last place you would want to be right now. I also suspect that you came here by accident, and not design. It seems you may be in over your head..." Faidth carefully assessed him, searching for truths within the confines of his face. She had been right about him before... about the suffering... His eyes related tales of anguish... Something very painful had befallen this man. The guilt seethed through every pore of this man's body. Though Faidth still sensed the evil, she could not help but to pity him. She relaxed her arms to her sides, then placed the two parts of the Skeerya back in union. She held the Skeerya in one hand and extended the other to meet the stranger's. Finally she spoke: "You are quite right, sir. This is not my battle. Mine is elsewhere. Judging from the fire burning within my senses, I would conclude that my battle is quite far away, indeed. I do not know what just happened, nor why I am here. I know one thing only... I need to find a way to get back home...Now. Many depend upon me. I extend my thanks in gratitude of your assistance, and must apologize for my hasty departure, but I must be going. Good luck in your endeavors. May victory meet you..." Faidth paused again to look around at the dying, just inches from where she stood. She eyed the Skeerya, still in her hands, wondering if she had done the right thing in letting this man live. "Whatever that quest may be..." She turned to leave.

Posts: 3771 Apr 22 05 10:25 PM Angel of Redemption God-General More My Recent Posts	As Faidth turns to walk away from Soul Reaver, she can see that another group of cultists has gathered directly in front of her. Upon seeing her, the cultists charge, firing their rifles in both her and Soul Reaver's direction as they run. Kitharsis and his mages are spotted quickly by the group of cultists he is charging, but they are still in a state of confusion, and most of them break and flee. The remaining 6 cultists open fire on Kitharsis and his minions, although they shoot wildly, and the shots are not very accurate. As Fei whips his blade towards the next group of cultists, they break and run in all different directions, trying to dodge the attack. 6 cultists do not move fast enough and are cut down in a shower of blood. Fei is virtually unopposed at this point. As Jharm approaches a group of 5 cultists, they all open fire on his airborne form, trying to cut them down. Another nearby group of cultists have clearly had their fill of Deravon, as they bid a hasty retreat towards the next block of warehouses. One cultist manages to think enough to throw a few grenades behind him, and they land near Deravon and explode. The cultist that escapes the attack of Kelvack and the giant roach just happens to be the same cultist that rescued the Kelvack-cat in the first place. He continues to run, making a beeline from the stablizers and screaming at the top of his lungs. "HOLY SHIT!!! I'VE PISSED OFF THE CHAOS GODS! HELP ME!!!!!" Cameron runs into a group of 6 cultists, shooting two before switching to hand to hand combat. Bullets bounce off his armor as he crushes the skulls of two more cultists. The remaining two find themselves on either side of Cameron, but before they can act, Cameron extends his arms outward and engulfs the cultists in a blast of flames, incinerating them. He then turns towards the area where he had just detected an energy surge and spots Soul and an unidentified female facing down a group of cultists. Cameron is about to move to assist them when he detects a power signal that could only be Kelvack in the warehouse block ahead of him. Cameron immedeately begins to run towards the next warehouse block, watching for more cultists as he runs. "Please end this before it ends us." cLuTcHFieND Administrator of the Administorum

She stops moving just behind Soul Reaver, planting her staff firmly onto the ground while a icy wind circulates around her. She looks at the new girl and smiles breifly. "I'll introduce myself after we takes care of these fools." She says softly to her, lifting her staff from the ground, it is now angled to be used like a spear. Grinning she waits. ~To live is to die, to die is to live.~

Posts: 70 Apr 23 05 7:58 AM Private 1st Class More My Recent Posts	Faidth drops to her back and rolls away from the cultists long enough to unhook the two adjoining part of the Skeerya. Faidth raises the Skeerya to her face, blocking the spray of bulllet showering towards her. With impressive speed, she advances towards the attackers. She throws herself to her side, sliding her legs into those of her foes, knocking several of them to the ground. She beheads one, then steps on the throats of two others. She twists her body, still standing on their necksbreaking their windpipes and allowing them to suffocate. She throws a glance back at the two strangers behind her. The reverberance of evil eminating off the man is slowly heightening. The girl is of no consequence to her. Though evil, Faidth knew this girl would be of no real threat to her. Faidth closes her eyes again, in order to better focus on the movements of her attackers. Suddenly, from the corner of her mind's eye, she sees a rather confused foe, half stumbling, half running right in front of her. She lifts two fingers to the temples of this being running so blindly in front of her. By doing this, she also gets a draw on what he is feeling... Confusion, fear... and he oozes of stupidity. The foe is stunned, and falls to the ground like a heavily burdened sack. Faidth can feel her long bangs growing white as a result of this impromptu stun. Must have been a pretty bad one too... It appeared this foe would be knocked out for quite a bit. She turned to the next foe, uppercutting the Skeerya up under his chin. All the while thinking: This war is not mine...

Such a large object to protect could not be protected very long without adequate amounts of mana. The two skeletons meanwhile continue running towards the cultists, their barrier spells still going strong. The mage closest to the street starts to cast a spell, the mana building up on its fingertips as the shock web spell is prepared. The other skeleton was keeping watch on Kitharsis, even though they had a mental link to him, his skeletons still kept very close guard over him. But as the two skeletons pass by an alleyway a thick metal pole is swung at their midsections. Caught unaware, the tiny skeletons had no chance to dodge the swing. Their frail bodies were not meant for melee combat. Split in half and falling to the ground in pieces, they reach out to their master as they start to disintegrate into sand... Metal grinds against asphault as Kitharsis feels the bond broken between himself and his pets. Sparks fly as he charges at the unfortunate cultist who had destroyed the last of his minions. "How DARE you!" He screams, his tattoos are glowing so brightly that they light up the entire street. The cultist is frozen with fear as Kitharsis grabs at his head and breaks down a nearby wall with it. The resulting bloody pulp that splashes over his body does not cease his rage. He grabs the dead cultist's leg and swings his body above his head before chucking it at the group of six cultists that were still firing on him. Streams of blood paint the area red as the body spins through the air. The body hits the six cultists and they halt their shots as they try to get the body off of themselves. Kitharsis had already made it halfway to them and was advancing fast. A bullet to the forehead knocks him to the ground, everything is so blurry, there is a ringing in his ears, was someone laughing? Cackling? More bullets come, hitting his body and pushing dents into it. He had enough energy that they did not pierce his body, but the pain was still registering well enough. The tattoos on his arms spew forth red energy that circles around him, enveloping him in a thick shield. The bullets smash against the shield, giving him a few seconds to get the blurriness out of his head. "I grow tired of this..." He spits out angrily. As he stands, the shield parts and forms two long blades stemming from his forearms. The bullets are swiped aside before he slices three of the cultists in half with one swipe. The others try to retreat, but Kitharsis's mad swings catch them in their backs. He runs, dragging the blades on the ground behind him, carving out two lines in the asphault revealing his trail.. "Show yourselves you cowards!" He screams as he searches for more cultists to rend lifeless. The rage building inside of him seemed to fuel his power, his senses were more acute than ever. He knew that Soul Reaver had just met a strange woman. And that judging by her reactions she is unsure of whether or not to try and cut him down. Cameron was running ahead of him two streets down. And it appeared that Kelvack had found himself again and was wasting time in a warehouse. The others were not very far away either. He almost had to chuckle about how many cultists had died already, and how many more would die before they were done...

Posts: 232 Apr 23 05 11:23 AM Alter-Ego Character More My Recent Posts	As the cultists flee from the rampaging vampire, one tosses a grenade at Deravon, and before he has a chance to get out of the way it explodes. Everything is hidden for a few seconds by the resulting explosion and cloud of smoke and debris. As the smoke clears a figure can still be seen standing. It is Deravon. It is evident that the grenade affected the vampire more then any of the bullets did because he is hunched over slightly and has numerous wounds all over the front of his body. Another thing is noticable though. The mask that is usually on his face is gone leaving Deravons twisted and deformed face visible to anyone who looks. A look of pure rage can be seen on his face and his eyes are glowing a blood red. it is evident to anyone who knows anything about vampires that the damage caused by the grenade has angered Deravon enough that his Beast has gained control, meaning that he will attack anyone who comes close. He releases a howl of fury and charges after the cultists. You shall all die for that!! The fleeing cultists have managed to almost reach the nearest warehouse when he cultist who threw the grenades hears this and turns, just in time to see Deravon before a hand wraps around his throat. The vampire then slams his fist into and through the cultists stomach and rips it out of the side, creating an explosion of bone and blood, completely covering the vampire in it, fueling his rage even more. The remaining fleeing cultists are eliminated in the same fashion until all that surrounds the blood covered Methusalah are mutilated pieces of meat that do not even resemble anything human. Having lost all control Deravon is no longer concerned about reaching the stabilizers, all he wants now is blood. He spots the Soul Reaver accompanied by a female stranger and Natalya. His old hatred towards Soul resurfaces as he heads straight for him. Any cultists that get in his way are torn to ribbons. I command you to stop NOW!! Silence fool, I am in control now, and I will show this Lord Reaver how "changed" you really are No! I won't let you All of a sudden a voice pops into Soul Reavers mind. Lord Reaver, this is Deravon. I have lost control and my Beast has taken over. He is coming straight for you. You and your companions must get away from me until i am able to regain control. We never paid any heed to the ancient prophecies. Like fools, we clung to the old hatreds and fought as we had for generations ---until the day the sky rained fire and a new enemy came upon us. We stand now upon the brink of destruction. For the Reign of Chaos has come at last...

As the bullets near him, Jharm raises his hand towards them and they richochet off a shield. He lands in front of the cultists. "Repent! Repent and you shall be forgiven!" Cultist: Fuck you. Chaos shall reign supreme. At saying this, the cultist shoots Jharm point blank in the chest. The bullet pierces his armor, releasing a silver liquid which must be his blood. Nothing can be seen behind Jharms helmet as he raises his hand towards the cultist and a blaze of white light shoots out of it and covers the cultist. As the light hits him, he begins to disintegrate, releasing a scream of pain. As the light fade nothing remains where the cultist stood. Upon seeing this the remaing 4 cultist's charging at Jharm, intent on revenge for their fallen comrade. In a quick horizontal slash of his angellic blade, Jharm lops off one cultist head and follows up with another slash cutting off another cultists arm. He then performs the same light attack, taking out another cultist. The remaining cultist upon seeing his companions all killed so quickly turns and runs. The angel does nothing to stop him as he senses something wrong. He gazes over and spots Deravon, covered in blood...and maskless, heading for Soul Reaver, Natalya, and another female he didnt recognize. Oh God, he has lost control. He is going to try and kill Soul Reaver. Jharm then takes to the sky again heading for Deravon, hoping he can reach him before the vampire reaches Soul. Her ferocity grows as she comes to the painful realization that these morons are keeping her from leaving the madness of the stranger and his even stranger companion. More importantly, they were keeping her from finding a way home... Home... Faidth laughed bitterly. Whatever may be left of home. The wind was rushing... Not by choice, but because of a powerful and menacing force behind it... An evil that rivalled that of the first stranger... Whatever this thing was, was coming towards them full force. This is the second time I shall spare your life, stranger... She reacted quickly, ignoring the onslaught of foes still charging at them, and rushing towards the first stranger. Faidth let out a feral growl, that began at her abdomen, collected power through her torso, and finally escaped through her lips. She raised her Skeerya, and with great speed, ran forward, putting herself between the stranger and the powerful being that was hurtling towards him.

He spots Kitharsis a little way away cutting up the ground and tatoos burning away, but he can't see his little mages. While looking out for more of the group to be sure they are making towards the stabilizers he spots the stranger he ran past, Soul Reaver and his lady friend who was next to him on the way over. He also see's another figure heading steadily towards them, one Soul Reaver seemed hostile with back on the wall, and another in the air flying in the direction of the him fast. He catches up with Clutchfied who was still mascreing any cultist in his way to the stabilizers and yells out to him. "Yo Clutch! Seems like there is a bit of commotion back over by Soul and co. Whaddaya think?" Diego then shoots a full magazine of his berretta into a group of cultists taking aim on them, leaving none of them standing. Dropping the clip to the floor he grabs another from the depths of his coat and locks into place and looks onward to see how much further it is till they reach their destination. "Ford" "Yes?" "...Whats this fish doing in my ear?"

Their aim is poor, but the occasional shell does ricochet off the shoulder pads of his breastplate, sending sparks into the air. Not one to leave things to chance, Soul Reaver casts a simple Protection from Missiles spell - the white sphere that envelops him is now more than capable of deflecting the vast majority of the bullets being fired in his direction. In return, he gives a shout, and fires twelve basic Power Bolt spells in quick succession. Each green sphere flies from the palm of his hand and smashes into a Cultist, stunning them and knocking several off their feet. He is about to charge them when Natalya appears nearby. Soul Reaver hisses a warning at her. "Keep your head down! Either protect yourself against their bullets or engage them in melee - at range the sheer number of firearms will overwhelm you!" Soul Reaver's eyes then suddenly go wide, and he spins around. Although neither Natalya nor the newcomer would realize it, Soul Reaver has just received a message from Deravon, warning him of an impending attack. For a second, Soul Reaver looks Deravon's misshapen face right in the eyes... and were he conscious enough to realize it, Deravon would see something in Soul Reaver's eyes in return - something beyond his pupils, a smouldering all-consuming fire, an immortal hatred that hungers and can never be sated. Deravon would realize that Soul Reaver was not planning on stepping aside. Even then, Soul Reaver's fist was closing over Darkstar's hilt, the muscles in his arm tensing to meet the onslaught... But then, a figure interposes himself between Soul Reaver and Deravon. The woman! Soul Reaver's mind flashes with possibility. How stupid could she be to dive right in front of Deravon? She was good, but Soul Reaver did not think she would realistically stand a chance against the raging vampire. And did she really think he NEEDED her help?! It would almost be amusing to stand back and see what Deravon would do to- The fire behind Soul Reaver's eyes suddenly flickers and dies as he hears his own thoughts. He innerly curses the sword on his back, almost feeling the smugness radiating from the weapon. Even in its sheath, its influence had already grown so strong. Soul Reaver pushes Natalya behind him while thrusting Darkstar's handle into his belt. He extends both hands in the direction of the newcomer - a mere handful of steps separated her from Dervon now - and he speaks several echoing words in the language of magic. In front of Faidth, there is an audible whoomph, followed by a loud sizzle, as a purple-coloured barrier pulses into being between her and Deravon. Soul Reaver's heavy, cold gauntlet lands roughly on her shoulder. "Do not be a fool! Fighting Deravon will accomplish nothing at this point, and your life cannot be so meaningless to you that you would throw it away like this! We must retreat from him, and we must retreat now! The barrier will not hold him for long!" Soul Reaver then closes his eyes, his brows furrowing in concentration, as he begins chanting another spell... using all his focus to maintain both the barrier and weave this next spell around himself, Natalya, and the newcomer...

He stops firing, and the empty clip falls out of his arm mounted bolter, leaving a trail of smoke behind it. He jams another one in and is about to engage another group when Diego speaks. Looking back, Cameron sees a horrible sight: The newcomer charging towards Deravon, who is charging right back towards her. He knows there isn't much time. "Damm it!!!" Cameron begins to run towards Deravon. As he moves clear of Diego, flames begin billowing around his armored body. Suddenly, Cameron is completely consumed by a wave of fire, just as Soul erects the barrier between Deravon and the newcomer.. A fireball shoots from the dissapating wave, and Cameron is now nowhere to be seen. The fireball blasts straight twoards Deravon, burning through any cultists in it's path. As the fireball is about to strike Deravon, it suddenly grows larger, and in a blast of flame, turns back into Cameron, who is now flying through the air, intent on hitting Deravon with his shoulder and using the heavy weight of his power armor to knock him to the ground. Posts: 739 Apr 24 05 1:15 AM Seraphim Captain More My Recent Posts	As Deravon continues on his path of destruction towards Soul Reaver, the female stranger can be seen putting herself between the vampire and Soul. Does this woman actually think she can stop me?!? She shall die as well. At the same time, the vampire senses Clutchfiend drawing close and at the last moment leaps high into the air, causing Clutch to miss him completely, but the creature is so intent on reaching Soul Reaver, he doesnt notice another person coming, Jharm. As Deravon goes up in the air, Jharm slams into his back, slamming the vampire into the ground face first. Quickly, Jharm reaches down and turns him over and places his armored foot on Deravons neck. he then stands back up and aims his palms at Deravon face. "I am sorry about the pain you are about to go through." All of a sudden white light explodes from his hands and covers Deravon face. It looks just like the attack Jharm used against the cultists, except it doesnt seem to physical be hurting Deravon, but nonetheles as the white light hits the vampire he releases an inhuman scream that seems to reverberate in the ears of anyone nearby. Any cultists that were right by them fall to the ground, covering their ears. After a few seconds the scream ends and so does the white light from Jharms palms. The mask is now visible again on Deravons face and he seems to have regained his self-control. Jharm reaches down and helps the vampire to his feet. "I have defeated him for you. He will not bother you for a while. Come, there is still much work to be done." Deravon: No, I can not fight anymore. At least not right now. I tried to kill him Jharm. I tried to kill Soul Reaver. The one man who i wanted to prove that I had changed for the better I instead try to kill. Deravon, listen to me. Do not trouble yourself about it. I shall see that things are set right when the chance arises. For now you are needed on the field of battle. Do not worry about the Beast gaining control again for a long time. Deravon nods and then sends a message to Soul Reaver. Lord Reaver...I am sorry. He then sends another one to Clutch. Lord Aileron, I have regained control and I am sorry. Sparks fly as he rolls and skids about 50 feet before coming to a stop. He stands up and looks for Deravon, but Jharm seems to have the issue under control. Sighing, he begins to walk back towards the block where he left Diego. He sends a quick mental message to all the nearby companions, including the newcomer, although he is not aware that the message went to her too. Can we focus a bit here, guys? We have to get to those stablizers! We don't have much time! Cameron then takes off, flying back to where he last saw Diego. Diego, meanwhile, is confronted by a group of 20 cultists coming from the direction of the stablizers. Although they still look nervous, this group seems to have collected themseves somewhat. They open fire on Diego, but the bullets are deflected by a shield that suddenly springs up in front of him as Cameron lands beside him with an audible thump. The scratches on his armor from the botched attempt at tackling Deravon are already slowly regenerating. He turns to Diego as a few stray bullets bounce off his armor. "That shield won't last long! Take cover, and let's cap some of these guys before everyone else catches up!" Cameron ducks behind some rocks and begins unloading his bolter at the oncomming cultists. Posts: 978 Apr 24 05 8:41 AM [Insert Custom Rank Here] Colonel More My Recent Posts	Kelvack had been pacing through the warehouse, bumping into cultist's left and right and giving them a casual wave. Most of the time they were much too frantic to bother with him. After they collide, the cultist typically scrambles to get up and continues running to where ever he was headed in the first place. But every now and then, one of them had their finger on their trigger. Kelvack had already prepared for bullets flying through his body, and their shots simply go right through him, putting holes in the wall behind him. By solidifying his arm, a simple jab to the face knocks them out easily enough. If there was enough light in the warehouse, you could see that Kelvack's skin, hair and eyes were all shades of grey. Due to the nature of his new power, this changes his mood to being very indifferent. He walks out into the street and starts to walk towards the group of his companions gathered together. He knew what was going on with Devaron, and he wondered if he would have to fight off the vampire when he reached the group. Either way, it just didn't matter. He doesn't quite make it to the rest of the group, for as he rounds a corner he sees a league of 20 cultists, more organized than usual, that are firing on Cameron and Diego. Luckily, Cameron had flung up a shield, or they would have been in some trouble. "I really don't appreciate it when people try to hurt my friends..." He says mostly to himself as he gets into a crouching position. "Hmmm, lets see. Gonna need hard skin, a ranged weapon, perhaps even flight... A dragon is too cliche, a helicopter is too tricky... Gah, lets just see what happens. "First of all, wings." Kelvack's back bluges and two fleshy wings burst out of his shoulder blades. They flap themselves dry as they expand outwards. "Ok, hard skin, hard skin... Exoskeleton!" The pores on his skin start to seep a dark yellow liquid. The liquid spreads all over his body and hardens. It is in sections, allowing normal movement while still supplying him with bullet-proof armor. "Ranged weapon, what whould be fun... I suppose a ray gun would go well with this getup." The exoskeleton on his left forearm raises in the middle and starts to form a cylinder. Once the morphing is done a black gun barrell sticks out past his fingers that is held in place with yellow exoskeleton that merges with his arm. "Ok, ready." He says, as he jumps into the air, his wings catching him and flapping him higher into the air. He was out of view of the cultists until now. Once he reaches to top of the closest building, he perches on the corner and aims his new ray-gun down at three of them on the far right. A high pitched charging sound emits from the gun before the barrell lights up and spews forth a thick beam of yellow energy directed right at the group of three clutists. The force of the blast sends Kelvack backwards, and he hits the pavement and skids a few feet. "Woah, maybe I should tone that down a bit..."

Faidth did not know much about magic, but could realize that's what it must be. She opened her eyes again to see three figures all rushing towards them. The stranger growled at her, lacking gratitude for the interference. "Do not be a fool! Fighting Deravon will accomplish nothing at this point, and your life cannot be so meaningless to you that you would throw it away like this! We must retreat from him, and we must retreat now! The barrier will not hold him for long!" "Retreat?! I don't give a damn who or what the hrefa that thing is... I know one thing: He and you and everything else are standing in the way of me going HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!" Faidth screamed the final word in her tirade. Faidth's shouting was interrupted by a realization: They had company... very close company. First came the vile creature trying to attack them. His attack was abruptly thwarted by another... The first creature that seemed to lack an evil core... Rather than angering her and sending Faidth's senses into a tizzy, the appearance of this being, obviously of some divine creation, set Faidth at ease... The first peace she had encountered since arriving. The next stranger appeared to be more machine than man... But Faidth sensed a life force within him, not too unlike her own... She briefly closed her eyes again to feel for his presence... He was not evil... Rather, he was quite the opposite...He, too, set her at peace. He was not divine like the other, but nothing in him was worthy of her mistrust. Immediately she knew, that this must be the leader of the stranger and this slew of others. Just as quickly as he arrived, he leaves... but not before something stange happens... A message... Can we focus a bit here, guys? We have to get to those stablizers! We don't have much time! Obviously the message was not meant for her... What the hrefa was a stabilizer? Faidth closes her eyes again to pinpoint the source... The machine man... The leader... Obviously the quest of this group had something to do with something called "stabilizers." Faidth opened her eyes again and turned to the first stranger, her anger turning to hysterical and fierce fury. "What the HREFA is going on here?! Where the HREFA am I?! Who the hrefa are you people?! This is ridiculous! I want to go HOME!" Faidth growled again, scanning the bewildered faces around her... all except the first stranger... who seemed to have been expecting this outburst.
