Even though nothing can be seen past the front of the helmet, a sense of serenity and calm course through her body, as if to try and make her relax. Listen m'lady. I am unsure as to how you got here or you reason for being here, which it seems even you do not know. Do know that upon the first chance of calm that we have I shall try to help you figure out what happened. After saying this Jharm grasps his sword in both hands and takes off to the sky again. Posts: 232 Apr 24 05 8:42 PM Alter-Ego Character More My Recent Posts	As Faidth gazes around at the faces of her "companions" she reaches the face of the vile creature that moments before was about to tear her to shreds. She can sense a great sadness within him and as her gaze comes to rest upon his steel clad face, he quickly turns away, as if ashamed to let her see him. I am a monster. Deravon then senses that Cameron and Diego are being delayed by a decent sized group of cultists. This might be my chance to make amends. Deravon then crouches low to the ground and pushes off with all of his might, rocketing himself forward towards the location where Clutchfiend and Diego are fighting the cultists. He lands a few feet from the building on their right side and gazes up to the roof. He grins to himself as he comes up with a plan. The vampire crouches again and leaps up to the top of the roof, landing without so much as a sound. He carefully walks over to the edge of the roof and gazes down upon the heads of the cultists that are now shooting at his companions. He steps up to the edge of the roof, and after a second, jumps off the top of the roof, aiming to landing right in the center of the enemy group. We never paid any heed to the ancient prophecies. Like fools, we clung to the old hatreds and fought as we had for generations ---until the day the sky rained fire and a new enemy came upon us. We stand now upon the brink of destruction. For the Reign of Chaos has come at last...

Posts: 1675 Apr 25 05 2:18 AM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	Soul Reaver sees Deravon taken down by Jharm... but despite his dark expression at Deravon's inability to control himself, he seems unsually... forgiving about it. Perhaps he has a good reason to understand Deravon's plight? With the immediate danger gone, Soul Reaver drops his magical barrier and stops casting the spell he had intended to use to escape his immediate predicament. He looks unflinchingly at the newcomer as her frustration is unleashed in a torrent of angry questions. Giving a faint growl of irritation, he redirects his energies to expand the Protection from Missiles spell to envelop both Natalya and the necomer too. This would be only a temporary measure - creating a sphere this big was terribly inefficient - but it would give him a chance to silence the newcomer's distracting quarreling. "I am afraid that I am not familiar with your god - as I assume Hrefa is - and that would indicate to me that you have crossed the Planes and ended up here, in this one. To put it simply, you have entered at least another world, and possibly another universe. For what it matters, I am Soul Reaver, and others here are my companions. At Cameron's request-" he gestures towards Cameron as he says this "-we are on a campaign to destroy the forces of Chaos and close the Eye of Terror, where they spawn. As for getting you home - I have neither the time, nor the knowledge, nor the opportunity to help you on your way now. Perhaps once this battle is won we can see what can be done." He points towards the edge of the battlefield. "The closest thing to safety is a military complex that lies in that direction, so you can wait there if you want." The corner of his lips turn up in a humourless smile. "But considering you have just stepped into a massive war, you will find that actual 'safety' is, at present, in rather short supply." He then looks to the side again, glancing at Natalya and then at the cultists nearby, who seem to have noticed the three warriors standing in their midst. "Now I have work to do. There are still many cultists between us and the stabilizers we are trying to reach. They must be made to pay for what they have done... for what they have taken..." As he speaks these lasts words, his voice suddenly sounds changed... containing a feverish bitterness that hints at something far deeper, something terribly, terribly painful. And somehow, Faidth senses that his words might not be referring to the cultists he appears to be looking at, but rather, to something that only Soul Reaver's eyes can now see... Soul Reaver suddenly allows the Protection from Missiles spell to drop back to its normal size, and gives a throaty battle cry that chills the blood. Lightning fast, Darkstar is in his hands and he hurls himself into the cultist nearby. The spiked ball and chain whirl through the air, spattering crimson across the nearby rocks and eliciting screams of agony from the cultists. As the break to run, Soul Reaver pursues them, bludgeoning them to death even as they lie on the ground with shattered limbs...

She cannot see past the helmet on his head, but she is overcome with a sense of serenity. " Listen m'lady. Obviously, these people have the ability to send messages in such a manner... To speak without speaking... Heh... Faidth laughs... Not so far-fetched... I see without seeing... His words are comforting... This is the first kindness that has been bestowed upon Faidth. She knew he was no threat... He was a being of benevolence... And he seemed to be quite good at thwarting evil... He had stopped that vile creature that had come to attack them. Suddenly, the divine creature clasps his sword and flies upward. Like some kind of Rangela. Next her eyes settle upon the would-be attacker. The sadness and humiliation resonate off him in waves of sorrow. He turns his face from her. Is he friend or foe? Or both? Well, the Rangela man obviously thought him safe enough to be left to his own devices. Faidth recalled that, after all, the creature had not really been after her or the other person who had arrived seconds before the attack... No... He had been after this Soul Reaver... Can't blame him... I almost attacked him too. Next, her eyes settle on the Soul Reaver. He looks at her, rather unmoved by her tirade. Rather, he seems irritated by her sudden outburst. Heh, what a pleasant name... One who reaves souls... Well, mine better stay where it is. "I am afraid that I am not familiar with your god - as I assume Hrefa is - and that would indicate to me that you have crossed the Planes and ended up here, in this one. He rushes off quickly towards another foe. He had obviously had his fill of speech for the present time... Faidth yelled after him. "And for your information, Hrefa is where evil things come from..." She deliberately looks towards the stranger, and in a quieter voice says "Yes... evil." Warehouses? What good is hiding in a warehouse going to do for me?! I want to go home, damn it... Well, he is certainly no help... I must find the leader... Perhaps he knows something that those vile beasts do not... Or if I can find him, maybe the Rangela... One of them may be able to tell me what to do... Faidth closed her eyes again... Senses, lead me where you may... She felt for any resonance of good.... There quite a ways ahead of her... She felt the effervescence of the machine man... She tightly clasps her Skeerya, and letting her senses see for her, took off quickly towards the essence of good. Her Skeerya flies up every now and again as she felt attackers drawing close... She lopped off a head here... an arm there...and just for the sake of fun, stabbed one in the foot, sending him toppling over, where he was stampeded by an onslaught of others, scrambling and running in various directions... The carefully inscripted lines on Faidth's arms and back tingled... Then burnt as if on fire.... Marius... I hope you are okay... I'll be home soon... Home...I am coming for you, my friend...

Posts: 2848 Apr 25 05 7:46 AM Prince of Nooses Colonel More My Recent Posts	the newcomer wouldn't find any heartwarming, lovey'goodness coming From Fei's Portion of the battle if she was to oversee, as Black Lightning tears into the sky from the ground up, whipping around his body dancing with him as he dances threw the group of Cultists beyond the 2 warehouses where he was it. The blade he has tossed returns to his hand, and he spins, slashing outwards in a 360 degree rotation, slashing into the sides of the warehouses, causing bright sparks to fly. This is simply an intimidation factor as the Cultists around the corner see them just as their companions are sliced to ribbons by the Sinister blades. His black, tattered Attire soaked in the mixed guts of his enemies, Fei walks forward, looking around the corner and grinning maniacally into the eyes of the cultists, baring his fangs and flicking one with his tongue. Pulling himself from around the Warehouse, he throws both swords into the ground, extending his arms out and approaches the shaken Cultists who take aim and open fire. As he continues to approach, not a bullet touches him as reality seems to bend around him as he blurs, and the bullets wrap around him, continuing on their path into the warehouse behind him. The sounds of rapid striking metal is heard as the cultists run out of ammo, and Fei stands before the group of 9. "... You missed me..." Reaching for their swords and other cruel weapons they can wield in their multiple arms, Fei takes one by the face and plunges his thumb into his eyesocket until he can feel the soft membrane of his brain squish. The Cultist screams before being quelched, his head concaving inward and exploding through the ears as Fei Suddenly brings his leg down on him with a fierce axe kick, and then kicks him backwards into the other cultists. "Play with me..." I being Poor have only my dreams And I have spread my dreams under your feet. So Tread Lightly, Because you Tread on my Dreams.

Posts: 978 Apr 25 05 3:23 PM [Insert Custom Rank Here] Colonel More My Recent Posts	Kitharsis had received Cameron's mental message just as he had lopped of another cultist's head. The glow of his energy blades cast his body in a red glow. His shaggy mowhawk sways as his massive chest heaves in and out. Cameron's message had cleared his mind of some of the rage. He was here for a purpose, and this was a war. Lives are lost, companions destroyed. He would have to deal with the loss of the last of his minions later. They were destroyed in the heat of battle, where they thrived. Madness was no way to honor them, and all of his other pets that he had lost along the way. His breath slows down and his tattoos fade ever so slightly. The rage that had built up inside has subsided and his thoughts cleared. He stretches out with his senses, trying to find his friends. Everyone is still much too spread out. Cameron and Diego seem to be in a tad bit of trouble, but the others seem to be helping them out. He notices a group of six cultists sneaking through an alleyway trying to ambush Cameron and Diego from the side. He runs towards them trying not to make much noise, but being so large his metal boots clank on the ground loudly. This alerts the group of cultists to his presence behind them, but the alleyway was too small for them to manuver quickly enough before Kitharsis was on top of them. His long energy blades cut holes into the sides of the buildings around them as he slashes and jabs at the cultists. The ones at the opposite end the alley make it out into the street, but not before chucking a grenade at the dying bodies of their comrades and the huge creature destroying them. Kitharsis was nearly too caught up in his melee to notice the clinking of the grenade on the ground below him. His eyes widen as he senses the spike of explosive energy that emits from the grenade just before it explodes. Crossing the blades in front of him proves enough to take the brunt of the explosion, but the force of it pushes him backwards head over heels. He lands on his stomache and slides on the ashpualt, the sound of stone grinding on stone can be heard as he does so. His energy blades were obliterated in the blast and his forearms were quite burnt along with his legs from the thighs down. Thick skin is a blessing... He thinks, as he pushes himself back to his feet. His forearms and fingers were still smoking from the blast, but no skin was burnt off. Being accustomed to the extreme heat of the desert, he has an innate resistance to fire. His tattoos flare as he contemplates his next move, but they fade to black as he remembers that this was just a precursor to the battles that will come ahead. His bare hands will have to do for now. After checking to make sure that his porcelin mechanisms were still in tack in whats left of his robe, he sticks his head out of the alleyway, looking towards Cameron and Diego.

Posts: 274 Apr 25 05 7:32 PM Sergeant More My Recent Posts	As the barrage of bullets stream towards Diego he covers himself and prepares for the worst. He raises his ehad after lack of burning pain from the shots hit him and sees Clutchfiend. "Welcome back, marvelous timing but I'll thank you later good sir." He grins and throws himself behind a pile of broken concrete and steel. Dropping his two berrettas into their holsters he wields his whinchester once again and takes aim over the top of the pile. He quickly blasts 8 rounds into the group of cultists and drops back behind his cover. Looking around he can see companions coming to Clutchfiend and his aid. Peering over the rubble he sees the creature that was over by Soul Reaver that has drawn his attention before hand land in the center of the cultist group. A grenade explosion draws his attention away from the sparks of ricocheting gunfire above his head and he sees what looks like Kitharsis's head pop around the corner. Diego nods his head towards Kitharasis asking if he was alright. Not waiting for a reply He draws his two berrettas and leaps up from his hiding place behind the rubble and blasts 2 full clips into them, taking careful aim as not to hurt the companion in the middle of them. As he runs out of ammo he drops down behind the pile, but a second too late, and catches 3 bullets into the left shoulder. The hot, sharp pain shoots all the way down his arm and he drops one of his guns. He cries out in pain but quickly muffles it and calls over to Clutchfiend, "Hey Clutch. Think you could send one of your metal message things. I got hit in the shoulder and it FUCKING HURTS!" Not one to give up he gathers his other handgun, places it in the holster, reloads his remaining berretta and stands up and, with gun tilted to the side, run as fast as he can while towards Clutchfiends position, taking the last 3 metres in a full length dive, turning in the air and shooting at the surrounding cultists. Making sure to land on his right side, he slides up next to Clutchfiend. "We can't fight every single cultist that gets in our way right? That guy just dropped in on them he should be pretty capable and our gunfire would only endanger him. I saw Kitharsis back there," He motions towards the ally he saw Kitharsis's head, "He just took a grenade it sounded like so should we go gather him and press on?" "Ford" "Yes?" "...Whats this fish doing in my ear?"

Posts: 3771 Apr 25 05 9:12 PM Angel of Redemption God-General More My Recent Posts	Kelvack's blast hits one of the three cultists dead on. The resulting explosion vaporizes the cultist it hit and sends the other two flying. Some of the other cultists look up and direct some of their fire upward, but their attention quickly returns to the ground as Deravon suddenly lands in the middle of the group. Being too close to fire on him, 7 cultists draw swords and lunge at him. Cameron continues providing cover fire as Diego's first 5 shots all strike home. 3 cultists fall dead. Another 2 are hit in the arm and the leg respectively and fall to the ground, writhing in pain. Diego's next 2 clips aren't nearly as accurate, but 3 of the 7 cultists attacking Deravon fall. This leaves only 5 cultists left attacking Deravon, and 2 leftover from the original group of 20. They begin to retreat, but as they do, another group of 25 rounds a corner. Seeing the carnage, they all break for cover, diving behind old cars and hover-trucks, leaning behind warehouse walls, and diving into entranceways. 5 are brave enough to charge right towards Deravon, Cameron and Diego, trying to come to the aid of the remaining cultists from the first group. The two that fell back join them. Cameron is emptying the last of his clip when he receives Diego's message, and he is busy reloading when Diego slides up beside him. "You're right. We can't. You stay here and give me some covering fire. I'll get Soul or Jharm to come patch you up. I'm going to go help Kith." There is an audible click as an extra barrel clicks into place under Cameron's arm mounted bolter's barrel. A larger clip loaded with different ammo raises up out of the top of the bolter, and Cameron stands. He allows one of his war swords to appear in his hand and then marches forward, just as the 7 charging cultists reach him. The first cultist lunges at him, but Cameron raises his arm, and both barrels of the bolter explode with the force of a double shotgun blast. The cultist is hit in the stomach and thrown backwards. Two large smoking shells are ejected from the gun and Cameron fires again, still walking towards Kith. Another cultist is hit in the chest, and the flying shells rip it open, spraying gore everywhere. 2 more cultists charge Cameron from the front and meet their end as his blade rips through them both, glowing bright orange. He continues to walk towards Kitharsis, pumping two more blasts into the two remaining cultists as they turn to flee. The rest of the cultists taking cover in the next block open fire on him, but a quickly erected energy shield blocks the rounds until Cameron reaches the alley where Kitharsis is. He ducks in, letting the shield dissipate. The second barrel and large clip both retract into his gun, and he leans around the corner, sending some automatic bolter fire in the direction of a couple more cultists. He then looks back at Kith. "Hey, are you okay?" At the same time, he sends a mental message to Jharm and Soul. "Diego's been hit in the shoulder. He could use some help up here." Posts: 70 Apr 25 05 9:33 PM Private 1st Class More My Recent Posts	She is getting close. Faidth opens her eyes to scan for the machine man or the Rangela... There! Quite a way ahead of her she notices him... the machine man, the leader, Cameron...He is blowing to bits several of the enemies by firing some contraption on his arms. Faidth is temporarily awe-struck. They did not have weapons like these on Fyra. She comes across a dying foe, his hand still loosely clutching his strange weapon. He lies on his side, bleeding from several wounds. Faidth eyes it curiously before kneeling down. He is staring at her, his face creased with agony. "I shall make this quick for you. No more suffering shall you bear." She takes the Skeerya down upon his neck. Curiously, she picks up the weapon, mimicking the way she had seen it manipulated. She accidentally squeezes the trigger, illiciting a spray of bullets. Whoops... I'll have to be a bit more careful with this contraption. Faidth places her Skeerya in it's ebony holder and as rapidly as she can, advances towards the place where she had last seen the machine man.

He is about to eradicate the remaining few when all of a sudden 25 more cultists come rushing in, and some even are stupid enough to charge right at Deravon. As the cultists come at them with their swords, Deravon leaps into the air, landing behind them. He then spots a nearby car and grabs it, lifting it into the air with ease. He then glances at the cultists around him and laughs. We never paid any heed to the ancient prophecies. Like fools, we clung to the old hatreds and fought as we had for generations ---until the day the sky rained fire and a new enemy came upon us. We stand now upon the brink of destruction. For the Reign of Chaos has come at last...

Posts: 739 Apr 25 05 10:41 PM Seraphim Captain More My Recent Posts	As jharm is flying towards the battle, he receives the message form Cameron. "Diego's been hit in the shoulder. He could use some help up here." He speeds up and as he descends towards where Diego is, he summons a shield to protect himself from any bullets. Upon landing he hurries over to the wounded Diego. As he nears, Diego seems to be overcome by a sense of peace and calm and the pain seems to fade slightly. Jharm easily spots the wounded shoulder, and easily figures out that the bullets are still inside. He places his palm over the wound, not even the least bothered by the blood. His mouth begins to form words from an ancient holy language that seems to reverberate off of the air. A glowing white light begins to form at his shoulder and spread down his arm, and onto Diego until he is completely enveloped by the healing light. Jharm ceases the prayer and raises his hand, and the wound and bullets are gone, there isnt even a sign that there was a wound in the first place. "There, I believe you should feel much better now." He spots a few of their legs behind cars a way off and fires as best he can attempting to cripple a few of them, but the pain overcomes him and he slumps back down into cover. He can see Clutchfiend reach Kitharsis and he thinks to himself. "As soon as I am healed we can press on towards those stabilzers. Then maybe we can have some relax time and I can stock up my weapons they are due for upgrade...." He trails off, lost in thought, and hardly notices when his healer floats down towards him like an angel, but he cannot quite make out whether it is Soul Reaver or the other person Clutchfiend mentioned, Jharm coming to his rescue. As he draws near, Diego is overwhelmed by peace and calm. He feels pure and warm and there is nothing else in the world except for this moment. As he heals his shoulder, he smiles towards him. "Thank you I am most greatful. Yes it feels a million fold better thank you. I am guessing you are .. Jharm was it?" Streaching out his shoulder he puts his Berretta away and trys lifting his winchester. He is amazed at how healed his shoulder is and then creeps around to the edge of his cover and takes up a sniper stance, lying on the ground ready to blast any cultist that dares to even poke his head around the corner. But he is also waiting for Clutchfiend to move on, and he will be more than ready to leave when that time comes. "Ford" "Yes?" "...Whats this fish doing in my ear?"

Posts: 1675 Apr 26 05 2:43 AM The Immortal Brigadier General More My Recent Posts	Sepher sits in the Rhino, expectantly waiting to see where it will take them. When they finally pull up to a halt, he jumps out, his hand going to the katana at his side. Cameron explains the situation and that they must get to the stabilizers, and Sepher weighs his options. These cultists were unlikely to be a huge threat, and so it would probably not be necessary to make use of his darker powers... at least, not yet. Then suddenly, the battle is joined as the companions leap into action - by the looks of things, they have done this sort of thing quite often before. Sepher pulls his katana forth and runs after Cameron, slicing down the occassion straggling cultist as he runs, not pausing overlong so that he doesn't lose Cameron in the fray, but keeping some distance so that he will be able to react to a trap before he gets caught in it too. Suddenly he sees Diego get hit, and he drops down low - with no ranged weapons, he didn't want to get caught in the line of fire. He quickly scurries up to try and close the distance as Cameron leaves on his own. A strange feeling of calm washes over him when Jharm descends shortly afterward, healing Diego of his injury. Impressed at the angels' powers, Sepher quickly runs closer to Diego, taking up a defensive, hidden position behind a rock. If any cultists were to try and ambush Diego at close range, he would give them a nasty, steel-edged surprise.

The last cultist is screaming like a maniac, stumbling over rent limbs and slipping in organs and blood as he tries to flee from the blood-soaked abomination striding towards him, a black ball and chain dripping with gore. Soul Reaver receives Cameron's message, but pays it no heed. He had better things to do now. There were injustices to be repaid. The cultist rakes his hands through the bloodied dirt as he tries to heave himself back up onto his feet when a massive hand suddenly seizes him by the back of his scummy robes. The cultist gives a terrified yelp as he is lofted into the air. Soul Reaver turns the panicking cultist around, so that he can see straight into his eyes. A burning redness blazes deep in Soul Reaver's iris - a dark, bloody crimson, unlike the arcing power that usually crackles within them. His face it totally expressionless, and somehow, this is far more terrifyign than any other expresson he may have held. In desperation, the cultist's hand finds the curved, serrated dagger at his belt, and in a smooth movement, he stabs it through the arm holding him aloft. Soul Reaver does not even blink as the blade punches through is forearm and its tip emerges, dripping crimson, on the other side. Before the cultist can think to do anything else, Soul Reaver pulls back Darkstar, and swings the weapon in a calculated blow at the cultist's face. Skin and muscle tear as the spiked weapon shears across face, and blood wells over the cultists' vision. He feels his jaw shatter beyond recovery. Soul Reaver drops the disfigured cultist, whose face is now hanging as a ragged mess from the front of his head. He chokes and gurgles with pain as Soul Reaver slowly raises darkstar again, and brings it down on his back. The cultist is slammed into the ground, his whole body enveloped by pain. Again Darkstar rises, and again it falls. In his last agonizing moments, the cultist knows with full certainty that his foe could have killed him with one blow - that it would have been easy. But instead, he was taking special care to ensure it would not be over so quickly. When the sweet release of death finally claims the cultist, Soul Reaver plucks the dagger from his forearm and looks up to see Diego's position. As suspected, Jharm had already healed him. There were cultists hiding all over the place, and they were in a good defensive position. No matter, they would all die soon enough. Soul Reaver breaks into a run, heading directly at the cultists, speaking words of magic as he does so. His skin seems to lose some of its colour as he speaks the words of a Stoneskin spell. Even concentrated fire would now have a great deal of difficulty cutting him down. As he runs, Soul Reaver's muscles start to bulge, and he leaps the last six metres through the air, heading directly towards an emplacement of cultists behind a concrete wall. Chunks of concrete explode inwards as Darkstar blasts it clear, and Soul Reaver stands before the cultists, the weapon already rising to crush their flimsy skulls...

With a lightning fast sweep, he knocks the remaining 8 cultists to Mid height around his chest, toppling through the air. Looking over to where the Others are combating the more serious Cultists Fei is quick to improvise. Turning his body and facing the others in lightning reflexes, Fei brings both arms back. The Force he generates bends and twists the space around him, twirling inwards like a distorted picture before Exploding outwards in a rippling Wave as he Blasts the cultists with pure force High into the air where they are barely visible. Their bones smashed to pieces on impact and are sent like ragdolls, their swords fall to the ground. With a Graceful leap, a shadowy trail following behind him, Fei materializes the Kurusunami and the Yugitti in the air and descend upon the Cultists that have Cameron and the Others Pinned down. Black lightning Trails behind Fei as he comes crashing down, both swords spinning into the group of Cultists near Deravon. "Heads up...." Fei chuckles as the cultist bodies he blasted into the air come raining down on the other group of cultists the others are currently fighting with a great velocity. I being Poor have only my dreams And I have spread my dreams under your feet. So Tread Lightly, Because you Tread on my Dreams.

Posts: 70 Apr 26 05 2:57 PM Private 1st Class More My Recent Posts	Faidth rushes forward, using her new-found toy intermittently to fire at scrambling foes. Again, she spots the machine man, leaning around a corner to shoot at his foes. The attackers are firing at the machine man. Faidth takes a running start before falling to her side and sliding the remainding 20 yards between her and the machine man. The Borrilian leather underarmor made sliding very easy... However, her lightweight steel thigh guard did strike a stone, leaving a rather large bend in it. I will have to fix that the first chance I get... She yelled after the machine man, hoping he would hear her. "I am Faidth! I will do you no harm!" as not to alarm him to turn his powerful weapons on her. She rolled the rest of the way to the alley, just in time, as a bullet nicked the armor on her shoulder. She fired again towards the attackers before entering the alleyway where the machine man was... She was about to hail him, when she noticed a rather large mohawked man behind him. He was covered in strange markings, very unlike the ones that Faidth bore. He wondered what purpose his served. Finally, she turned to the machine man. "I assume that you are the leader...I do not know why I am here, but I will help you however I can in exchange for your services to get back home... Just tell me what you need me to do..."

Between his armor and Kitharsis's large stature, it made for a tight fit. "Hey, are you okay?" Cameron asks him, after firing his weapon at a few approaching cultists. "Yes, I deflected most of the blast from the grenade with the energy blades I had created. They were destroyed in the process. The rest merely scorched my skin, but after dwelling so long in the desert, one becomes accustomed to heat." He was about to ask about the state of the battle before the woman he had seen earlier yells, apparently trying to get Cameron's attention. Once she rolls into the alleyway Kitharsis notices as she pauses for a moment to consider him. She did not tarry long though, she was offering her services to Cameron before Kitharsis could blink. Faidth, he think she had said her name was. "I await your next move Cameron," Kitharsis says before Cameron could respond to the woman. "Where would I be most beneficial to our allies?"

A barrage of bullets spray up from the cultists below, but it ends quickly enough as Devaron takes care of them. Taking to the air, Kelvack flies high above the city, charging his ray gun again. The whir emitting from the barrel let him know that it was ready to fire. He drew a bead on a group of cultists hiding behind an old car. They were firing at Devaron as he was putting a hurting on the cultists brave enough to confront him. The barrel of his gun spews forth another thick beam of yellow energy that expands the farther it travels. It should engulf the old car, hopefully igniting any fuel still left in it and causing an explosion. Kelvack is pushed higher in the air from the force of his weapon. "Why tone it down when I can just get off of my feet so I can't get knocked off them!"
